How did a kill the justice league game get made before a actual justice league?
because WB greenlit it. Rocksteady pitched a superman game that was rejected, then a justice league game that was also rejected. Suicide squad was greenlit because it fit the games as a service criteria.
They wanted to do justice league but don't have the creativity to write a good story for them, so they just had us play as villains against them. Too back they picked clown villains no one likes or respects that could never pull this job off based on their abilities.

What’s funny is ivy and Harley aren’t really friends in the Arkhamverse they acted more like acquaintances than anything so them immediately being friends like that lowkey breaks canon to a certain extent cuz other than asylum they had no interactions from games tie in movies or comics this is just trying to fit the recent narrative of them being friends from recent years
Also in Arkham knight, she got her out of black gate. Just for arguments sake I can say we have only seen 4 nights of Arkham Batman’s universe, so we don’t know Harley and ivys relationship. On the other hand she was going to leave her in the cell just because she wasn’t on jokers party list.

What’s weird is the fact that this game is trying to sell to us that they were ever in a relationship.
Arkham Knight came out before that relationship hit the mainstream. Harley didn’t go to Ivy until after Joker died. Harley was still obsessed with Joker in Knight.
There’s no room for Harley and Ivy to have had a relationship in the Arkham series. I understand they tie in to whatever’s relevant in the mainstream depictions, but they should be valuing their own lore more.

I sure do hope batman is treated with reverence and respect in this game considering he was Rocksteady's flagship character for nearly 15 years, hope nothing dumb happens with his character.

“Draws on the POWERS of dc villains” has to be killer frost everyone saying mr freeze but he don’t have powers he has a cold gun and I suit that he needs to survive.
mr freeze retired his life of crime after knight, living the rest of Nora’s days out with her and afterwards he died due to his skin condition (as we see his skin peeling and his ears turn to stubs) so i highly doubt they would bring him back

The Arkham franchise doesn’t just conclude the games. comics and movies are also apart of it like “assault on Arkham” takes place one year after origins and two years before asylum.
The weapon used is the exact one that Mr Freeze gives you in Arkham city, you can see them throwing down a grenade that freezes all the enemies near

Harley trying to incite romantic memories/feelings in a child, or the fact that Rocksteady is trying to act like a relationship that never existed in the Arkham Series has been a thing the entire time.
There has never been any rainbows and roses between them in the Arkham series ever, also the comics as they are "concrete canon", you been watching too much HBO series BS to think otherwise, Friends/pals/buddies they are in the real canon, so no she is not trying to incite romantic feelings for a child..., also Penguin mentions about how Harley is still a grieving widow of Joker in this and is still dealing with her loss and feelings for the Clown.

i know what exactly i'm talking about here, i played through all the Arkham titles, read all the comics associated with the series, collected all tapes, bios and everything the games had to offer, it was stated that yes they were indeed Acquaintances/friends on the inside of Arkham, help eachother in breakouts and so on, not trying to be rude or anything about it, just stating what i know is factual etc.

Oh no wait, they added the grapnel boost, something that makes sense in lore- yanno, cause Batman uses gadgets? Super man can’t give some one a flight boost, bane can’t power grenades with his rage.

The mixing matching guns and skill trees gives me a Borderlands vibe. The more I see, the more I like. Then, they made Ivy a kid and I think that sucks.

My thoughts: The game -> I loved it, so far has a great potential // As a canonical continuation of the Batman I grew up playing as -> I don't want this to ruin my hopes for a new Arkham game playing as this Bruce.

even without the story aspects being leaked, i won’t be playing this game at all, battle passes, no online mode until later into the games life cycle, i find it so crazy how Warner Brothers is being run by a bunch of imbeciles

It looks really promising, but i hope they are thinking about the sound design and the ambiance in it for pre-release. It sounds so dead in a way, almost like listening to audio clips and the chaos is so dimmed down (explosions, gunfire, gadgets etc). Might still give it a shot tho! Just gotta see some reviews first now that games cost 70-80 bucks lol

We don’t know the story… only the conceit. Reserve judgement on the narrative once it’s released. Could be trash, but it could be compelling. Either way - it looks fun. People are just meming on this game without giving it a fair shake. Says more about the weirdly spoiled / entitled consumer culture than Rocksteady’s dev clout - which they’ve already proven.
