Thanks for sharing Kevin, yes we all need to remember how important our families are. Appreciate this Cutlass build soooo much. When you lose ones that are close to you its always hard, so far i've found time does'nt really take the pain away just makes it a little easier to live with the more time passes and that each of our greiving processes are just as unique as each and everyone of us are. miss my father and brother very much still lucky enough Mom is with us.

Someone famous once said "Anything worth doing is worth doing well". The voice overs while fabrication is proceeding make the build process interesting. I'm going to subscribe, I've watched you and referred others to you for too long not to be a subscriber. I'm glad your Mom lives on in your memory. Billy Joel's daughter asked where people go when they die. He said he'd be inside her listening whenever she spoke to him. That's a nice way to think of Mom.

Thanks for sharing your story Kevin. My wife and I lost both our moms one in 2012 and the other in 2015 both to cancer. It’s ripped the center from both our families. Missing the small things are hard to deal with on days like today. Mostly my kids not groaning up with grandmothers is prolly the hardest of all.
Hug your loved ones every day everyone. We don’t get to keep them forever and the time we do is always too short. Take the opportunity whenever you can to make memories that last and relish the little things as those are what’s missed the most when they’re no longer around.

Each person's journey through grieving is as unique as a snowflake, and no-one can truly appreciate what you and your kin are feeling, even today.
Everyone says that time is a healer, but it never really heals the gaping wounds caused by the loss of someone very special, yet it will narrow them and lessen the pain. Even after many tens of years there are times I am vividly reminded of and miss my parents. But mostly I now smile at those moments.
Treasure all the memories you hold, and celebrate your Mom's life every day; I'm sure you do.
Think on that nothing goes away until it has taught us what we need to know. What that is and when we learn it will be a revelation to each of us.

I recently found out my mom passed away earlier this year and my sisters didn’t bother to let me know. I got a call from the county trying to sort through her info and the poor woman didn’t know I hadn’t been told. She felt terrible, but you can’t pick your family. I let my mom go live with them because she was getting to be a lot more than one person could handle.

My condolences to you Kevin. I know all too well how you must be feeling. Over the last 10-11 years I've lost everyone on my father's side, two people on my mom's side (grandmom and uncle)..all due to cancer, and my sister (suicide) was the most recent one this past Easter. Big hugs man. It's rough going through this. Please know, your mom is proud of you and your decisions and accomplishments. You do great work and you're thoughtful and very meticulous. Which is hard to come by these days with most people. Maybe at some point if I'm ever down that way for vacation or something, I'll stop through and say hello, have a beer or something if you have time, talk all things cars, show you my ride..etc. Ive Been following you and cleetus for a while now. Great content with both of your channels. Keep your head up. You have people who care quite a bit for you and what you do.

Kevin, you sell yourself too short bro. My first memories of watching True Drag Cars in the works, was through you and Cleetus. You being the one that worked on Mullet, and Ruby, I thought, this guy is the man. Hence why I'm so eager to see the progress on your Cutlass! Much love to all the mom's out there!
