I will add links of ones i showed in video! Thought i did. Woo creating Abc files... I have not done as much study in that. Alot of things are older now. In fact my video might be the newest thing out there for using the system. In future if I find something on it I'll add link or make another video. But I don't know any off the top of my head besides links I put on video. Good luck adventurer!

The majority of people use Maestro to create their abcs. It's very easy to use.

A decade ago I found a free MIDI to ABC converter online somewhere, and managed to hotwire a bunch of songs into the game because MIDI is way more popular than ABC.
I forget how to do it now, but I did it when I was like a stupid 12 year old so it can't be too hard.
Here's a vid I made years ago doing the same thing: ua-cam.com/video/gu9Sgab-cMU/v-deo.html

@@FindTheFun ahhhh good idea i'm gonna have to look into that myself, if you can do that there is a massive midi reposity for ff14's bard music player and you would be able to play that huge catalogue of songs in LOTRO which would be pretty awesome

I remember (something I've said lots lately) copy pasting text to notepad and changing the file extension. Ah, playing smoke on the water while Shire burns.. right? 😁

It's still not working for me. I did everything you said, whenever I try to play a song it says 'Couldn't open file Music\.txt.' and a pop up above my character says 'Song file not found'

Does not work . When I go to play song it says it could not open the file and listed the location. WAIT I FUGURED IT OUT---EXPLANATION, a clarification to the video its a bit misleading, when you transfer the files into your music folder make sure that you transfer the files NOT the folder or it wont work. You need to see to see a bunch of individual files If you are looking at a folder inside your music folder you did it wrong, Go back to your download, hit extract, a window pops up, click on browse location and manually enter the file path as explained in the video and it should work and you should see a bunch of files.

Great point with the files! Totally agree. I never want to mislead anyone. I just did not word that correctly

odd, it downloaded the zipped file to the music file and stayed a file folder and works fine for me.

I was doing this a decade ago hahaha, brings back old memories.
Here's a vid of one of the songs I converted, the song choice certainly dates itself nicely: ua-cam.com/video/gu9Sgab-cMU/v-deo.html
