You won’t believe what people do when they think no one’s watching! The hit hidden-camera series “What Would You Do?,” hosted by ABC News’ John Quiñones, returns to ABC for a historic 16th season on SUNDAY, FEB. 18 (10:01-11:00 p.m. EST) with episodes available the next day on Hulu. Quiñones welcomes guest correspondents Sara Haines, co-host of “The View,” and W. Kamau Bell, cultural commentator and television host, as they observe how real people react when tricky situations and moral dilemmas arise in public settings.

Are they running out of ideas? They keep pushing the actors to initiate with bystanders instead of seeing if people will intuitively speak up.
Yeah, they're running out of ideas.
That’s so annoying because they’re already talking so loud , making it everyone’s business.
The show is going down hill fast
im just glad they didnt use same ol actors
I wouldn't have said anything because I would've already known this isn't real
ahhh yes because drug dealers offer jobs at bars and then ask strangers about what to do and what not to do lmfao
😭
this is unrealistic why would the guy telling him to be a drug mule potentially incriminate himself by involving bystanders and discussing it loudly in a public place
Righttt
Exactly. This would never happen in real life. Any person with half a brain would think think it's some kind of setup by law enforcement to entrap people. There are too many red flags here. No genuine cartel member would operate like this.
I would’ve know it was fake by the way he drops that sack right in front of him, there’s lowkey ways to pass someone a sack lmao
True 💯
Exactly. Never would happen.
"Should I do this terrorist attack on the White House? I need money and I have a kid on the way!" LOL
*FBI is now following you*
LOL
😅😅😅 pretty much what I heard too! That’s how far fetched this scene was ..
@therealclarkkent-ss7whlmao… I am sure they know that is not the same thing😅😅 they’re saying it’s just that wild to just blatantly talk about your crimes lol
they tell random people they have drugs and talk loudly about drugs every normal person would know it's scripted 💀
To be fear people at the bar be loud as fuck
Why not do some of the ones youve already done again? This is a bit unrealistic. I dont mind seeing the experiment where theres domestic abuse, racism etc done over again in different states instead of this.
True we can see how things have changed or remained the same
definitely agree
must be running out of ideas because this is just goofy
I was thinking the same thing
This happens everyday in my country smuggling drugs by swallowing it,how is the truth goofy, how?
How is it goofy when first dude said he personally knew someone like that
@@DarlingsDomain bc drug ppl don't openly talk about it . Let alone with a stranger they don't know if they are a cop .t not hard to understand really
"Paypig doesn't have enough money to pay for Mommy's dinner-What Would You Do?"
How the actors begin to talk to real people to get their opinion is unrealistic and ridiculous. If you are about to make a drug deal, which is illegal, you would never involve regular people surrounding you and ask them if you should do that illegal drug deal. It is so unrealistic, no drug dealer would do that.
You're right. Of course not.
WHO would have such sus discussions in a bar...and then ask a random wwyd?!😂...I'd think they were cops trying to set ME up!😝😂😇
It would be better if they just re-enacted the same kind of social issues (racism, immigrant discrimination, shaming, being mean, etc) like the older episodes from years ago instead of trying to create “new” ideas like this.
This is silly and unrealistic. I want to see the old styled themes as those are a lot more real and emotional.
100% true. That’s what I said!
The traci cameo was perfect. They need to bring back old actors and re do scenarios in a modern way
Racism isn't a social issue. It's an economic planetary colonial system.
Also immigrants aren't victims, they are colonizers themselves.
You should be focused on the indigenous people and the racism we go through.
I agree, redo the same problems in today's America. A lot has changed in 10 years.
Last guys words, voice, empathy, tone is so inspiring
amen
Absolutely ridiculous skit... why would a drug cartel member ask such things in a public place? This is stupid.
Who thought this was a good video idea? No one does this in public.
I like how some prompts are just people being annoying while ones like these are straight up super illegal lol
Oh, the last guy 🥺 God bless him! Such a precious human being.
He didn’t judge. Gave him the support and advice he needed not to make a bad choice that would affect him for a long time.
When did I say he did, girl?
@@j.t.9666 I never said that. I was agreeing with you. A lot of others would have judged him for considering doing that.
This is like an 80s anti-drug PSA. Highly unrealistic and badly acted. You can imagine the dialogue, "No way, man. Crack is whack. I'm saying no to doing the drugs."
They’re running out of ideas :(
With the Thumbnail, I almost thought this was gonna take place in a courtroom 🤣
Last guy was a gem, hope he lives an amazing life
Realistic: Asking bystanders "Should I do this crime? I have no money and a kid on the way!"
I would assume it’s a sting
Imagine real drug dealers being the customers
WWYD needs a new writing team
These wwyds are getting wild 😂
Gone wold lol😂😂😂
They need to allow the scenarios to drag out more. They literally let people say 1 or two sentences and next comes the “hi I’m John quinones”
This is so unrealistic 🤣🤣🤣🤣 nobody is gonna incriminate themselves all loud like that in a bar and ask other ppl for advice about it LMAO WHAT
The previous episode with the rude lady at the deli worked great. Old school wwyd. This is over the top.
I think it's completely normal and realistic to sit at a bar and ask bystanders if I should commit a crime, because I have a kid on the way. Isn't it?
Love that guy, “I lost my eye, I got a glass eye, man!” Lmfao
Imagine if one of the strangers overhearing the conversation was an off-patrol DEA agent... I'd pay to see a scenario like that unfold, lol.
No one would ever broach such an illegal deal in a bar! Ridiculous. I kept thinking of Tony Soprano talking with Pauly about a hit as he and Pauly sat in a civilian bar. How likely would THAT be?
🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣😂😂😂😂
That's ridiculous. Who would talk loudly in public about comitting a crime? Come on...
My neighbors are ridiculously obvious about their drug dealing, but I am in Oregon. This is definitely over the top though.😅
don’t talk with strangers, let them speak 😭
4:47 dudes friend's face is literally stuck on pause.
He is doing the Mannequin Challenge
Hey ABC do older segments again on your show. Title it WWYD Re-do for a 2024 edition
5:37 Prince Harry in disguise 😆
Why are they having the actors ask questions like "Did you hear that?" and then proceed to spill the whole conversation out to random people? This is a trash scenario, of course nobody would tell someone "oh yeah do it" when directly asked about it -- the purpose is supposed to be seeing if anyone would step in naturally.
JUST having the conversation is a 10 year conspiracy charge. Stay out of it
Plus an overt act in furtherance of the plan.
And if you overheard something, you didn't overhear something.
Even if you just told them don’t do it?
@therealclarkkent-ss7wh Your honor, I thought we were talking about mules. I always wanted a hobby farm. I had no idea how much money you could make off of them! I guess petting zoos are a cash cow.
I understand you want to talk about these serious and important topics. i just don't think WWYD is the right place for these since the format is very limiting. What are the chances anyone would discuss a drug deal like this in public ? And get other people involved too ?
Really bad acting + why do these actors approach the people? Its WHAT WOULD YOU DO ... if they dont get involved then they dont get involved.
I’ve been binge watching😂
With episodes like this it's more like "cringe" watching.🥴
This is just dumb. The scenarios are getting worse and less realistic. And I feel like they go out of their way to ask bystanders what they think too much. The point is to say if people speak up on their own.
Fire the new writers for this show and make more realistic scenarios
Because people talking about smuggling would scream in a bar asking everybody around them for their opinion
They are running out of ideas..... This isn't the same as it used to be.
Don't do something that's dangerous and illegal because your risking your own life and your own safety.
Ok? Why am I having lunch at work n crying at that last man 😭❤️
*…Said no criminal ever in a public place*
this one’s a miss 💀😂
This is the most unrealistic scenario I've seen yet from this show. 😂
Sorry to say it but this new format WWYD could’ve just stayed dormant until they thought up some better situations 😄
This sould be more realistic when they are offering the bystanders or other people to join them quietly, than this out loud
That last man is a gem.
God bless him❤
"Why did you allow that man to become a drug smuggler?"
"Because of how fake you made it look."
Who ever is coming up with these ideas needs to get fired asap
This is the most ridiculous scenario they have ever done
Trust me, it is not. Check out two friends discussing about aliens video 😂
Imagine setting up a drug smuggling operation in public lol💀 oh not to mention asking people should I do it🤣
This season isn’t as good as I was hoping it would be. Bad acting, stupid topics, early scene breaks, different hosts (we only want John Quinones) it’s not bad just not as good as every other season.
They should let the audience interact in polls for scenario ideas so this doesn’t get stale. There are a ton of topics that I’m sure the audience can suggest or vote against.
that last guy has a glass eye, that hits home to me. i dont got a glass eye but my same eye doesnt work, always salute to my monocular friends, especially those that are brave enough to speak about it to a stranger. most of my friends dont even know its something im too insecure about to share.
❤ my dad actually works 2 jobs to keep us in a 1 bedroom apartment. After my bath me still unclothed I’ll wrap myself in a blanket and sit down on the kitchen floor waiting for my pjs to dry on the balcony while my dad uses leftovers to make my dinner. He does everything for me.
A real one
Thank God for your Dad. 😇

The DEA probably thinks this is a SNL skit
Unrealistic as hell 🤦🏻♂️
Bro stop trying
To create unrealistic scenarios that aren’t serious world problems. Focus on what’s important. Like domestic abuse, racism, kidnapping, mistreating people etc..
Yeah, there is no way i would get involved with a drug dealers' conversation. I'm not messing around and finding out.
3:02 These are GOLDEN WORDS👍👏👏👏
Smh this would never happen in a public place 😒
0:57 The way he rubs his hands "yeah, yeah this is good, delicious, now we are cooking" :D
I wonder what would _they_ do if one of the customers was also down on his luck and want in for the job? 😅😆
RESPECT FOR THIS SHOW FROM SOMALIA 🇸🇴
😭😭🤣🤣🤣 What if the guy said, ill take the job
this was as realistic as twilight
The only entertaining part of this episode is the comments. I stopped watching when the guys asked for an advice and ran here.
The actor in the black t shirt is really good. Would like to see him in other scenarios. Could be the next Tracy.
5:13 can’t tell me that’s not prince harry 💀
Running out of ideas, no one’s stupid enough to offer an illegal job in public
They wouldn't be as loud about it, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
Yes people are@@jbzhummerh2gamer
Good show WWYD team. Keep up the good work
bro i used to watch these as a kid 😭 and i thought id watch them again.. and holy shit these r so random now😭😭
Retry this scenario in a Waffle House parking lot 😂
WWYD has been having some bad topics lately. We need prime WWYD.
Old scenarios were far better.
WWYD.... come on, this is stupid. Stick to the basics!!!
Lmao. I didn't belive this was the same show at first.
Yeah John this one wasn’t it brotha💀
"He was an actor. They both were" I thought the other guy was a real drug dealer
7:28 God thanks there are STILL people like you with big heart 👏🙏🙏🙏
Idk Rick, it looks fishy
I live in Dallas and where in the hell are all these bars they keep going to here
What a wild concept.
Love that guy..❤❤❤
They should redo some of the older, successful one as they are clearly running out of ideas.
The man with the glass eye was sitting next to the actor one second, and when Jon comes over to him he's back on the other side of the woman. Suspicious
Literally nobody will go to a busy bar to discuss a drug drop and then proceed to speak to other people at the bar about said drug drop 😭I can't watch this one, it's just too unrealistic.
the last guy was so sweet
i mean....they could just re run their best old scenarios from old episodes and see what have changed and see new reactions..i see no problem in that..
That's a pretty dicey scenario. Last thing you want is interfering in cartel business and get deleted.
Goofiest, most idiotic skit ever. WWYD writers were really reaching for this ridiculous set up.
Could've made it more real. They wouldn't be doing this at a restaurant bar. At least get a booth or table.
I love WWYD but this episode made me cringe so bad I had to stop watching.
It's a social experiment. Keep it that way. Trying to coerce people ruins it.
