    Some of these newer scenarios are frustrating for the wrong reasons. Teenagers don't talk like this, and while they're dumb, they're not *so* dumb to talk about these things right next to adults. Plus the acting just isn't very strong.

    • @adi91216
      @adi91216 29 днів тому +52

      This season is just overall awful. The acting, the scenarios, the places. I think the best has been all done in the old seasons. This is just because John is bored.

    • @Sarah_Violet
      @Sarah_Violet 29 днів тому +29

      I've been around teenagers like this in public many times. Teenagers want to seem cool so sometimes they will talk loudy like this in public no matter what the subject is. Obviously not all Teenagers do this but the ones trying to act "cool" have done this before even today's Teenagers.

    • @Diloparker
      @Diloparker 29 днів тому +5

      In addition, the factors of this, and many other experiments in this show are very flawed.
      As you’ve mentioned nobody talks like those teens. But the actors are SO unsubtle, so of course everybody’s going to notice. When in actuality most incidents like this go unnoticed.
      Because people are more intelligent than to speak their atrocities *out loud* .
      Also, they conveniently allow the subjects to interact with the victim. Which I guess is to allow the subjects to react, or reveal what they think to the victim.
      But again, this doesn’t happen often; because if they don’t want to act, until the person causing the issue is temporarily gone. Chances are in an actual scenario, most people wouldn’t do anything about it.
      Because who conveniently leaves the victim alone, when their motives is to kidnap them as an example.
      You could argue that the whole point of the social experiments is to show how people feel watching such scenarios. But that’s not the point of the show, it is literally called “What would you do?”!
      The point is supposed to show what people would *do* in these scenarios; but it fails because they are so unrealistic and convenient, they just act as a buffer for the subjects reactions.

    If you're unwilling/unable to name specific social media websites, maybe have them say something along the lines of, "that game that went viral". Having teens say "social media" is really giving, "Howdy-do, fellow adolescents! Have you been keeping up to date on the latest on the tic-tacs?"

    You can tell someone very old wrote this script. If you want to do scenarios about teenagers, do better. My younger siblings and every other kid I know definitely do not speak like this.

    Y’all are really ungrateful and selfish in the comments it doesn’t matter if this is unrealistic or not just enjoy the video they worked hard to provide for you guys isn’t that enough? I swear there’s no winning with y’all 🤡

    I highly recommend reading a book called “Choke” by Diana Lopez. I read it in middle school and it really kept me away from things like this.

    These scenarios are getting more and more ridiculous and inauthentic

      It's actually very authentic. My kids deal with this kinda stuff a lot.

      @@mandypine8626 Not the overarching theme, but this particular situation in the store. The way it is implemented is inauthentic.

    Young kids need good fathers and mothers figures, good values, and above all God in their lives to overcome these types of kids. It is not easy to go through this especially when you are in middle school/ high school

    I don’t like the fact that WWYD is becoming a prank show and not the social experiment it was.
