I really want to see Anthony Carrigan in more things. He took a character that was supposed to die episode 1 and turned him into the fan favorite character.
He's in Gotham
I just watched the first episode of season 4. I must’ve missed the episode and season three where Hank gets out of jail and he and Cristobal end up safely back in the United States. I want to go back and watch that episode without having to watch the entire season three again.
100% agree. He needs to play more like well written and rich criminal characters. I think he can play the subversive take of those characters really well.
But also I would love to see him in something completely unexpected and out of left field.
@@robertpaulsimpson6266 Apparently Blood Meridian is being made into a movie and the Judge sounds like someone with Alopecia.
But I agree. I’d love for him to play someone really random. He does seem typecast as villains, but apparently he likes playing villains.
@@heather54101 he's not just in Gotham, he plays Victor Zsasz to perfection, over the course of several seasons.
Gonna miss this show. Hope everyone gets amazing work in the future
Rumor is “HANK” is coming
@@localshoota1093 dont you dare. That would be amazing
@@YaddleOrder66 that would be perfect
It ends beautifully
@@localshoota1093stop playing with my emotions
sarah goldberg is so well spoken. no one else could have played sally the way she did. i hope to see a long successful career for her.
Anthony Carrigan slipping into Hank while he talks about air hockey is just magnificent. I adore him so much.
Ikr?! And he improvised those few lines and they were so perfect and funny! It made me feel like he must have had so much to do with creating the whole character that is Hank 😊
@@dcool2u2 ikr? He just immediately went full into the character, could've been a clip from the show.
That's the main reason they kept him around instead of killing him off the first episode. Insanely talented and hilarious with his improv skills. I swear he made Bill break character the most of anyone on the show.

Hader will be making features soon, and I think he'll have a long and successful career as a filmmaker
If his directing skills are any indicator, and the tight-knit writing and acting he oversees, I think you’re absolutely right
From now on, people will be lining up around the blocked to see whatever BH's got going on next.
I really hope he direct another show or movie. He’s incredibly talented!
A feature is a movie fyi😊
@@MrPelao911 Same process
I need more Anthony Carrigan all the time. And I saw him in his 7th grade production of guys and dolls so I know he’s got the lasting power.
Omg say more about this please
@@ihavecoolpants we went to school together. He was always incredible (and a super nice guy, drove a cool old car and had long hair under his baseball hat). He had the lead in all the school plays. Junior year I think we did a musical version of Medea (like the Greek tragedy) and he played Jason in that. He looked a lot like Johnny depp when he was younger. Just a fabulous human
@@laurarichter1780 That’s awesome.
@@laurarichter1780 ummm but he has alopecia… was it a wig or had it not fallen out yet?
@@poopsonastick13 my understanding is that it was patchy when he was younger which is why he wore it long but I never noticed it, and he frequently wore a Sox hat. He talks publicly about how most of his hair loss was during the forgotten.
Can we just state, this is one of the best interviews I have seen. These are excellent questions.
everyone she was talking to had a "ooh, that's a great question" kind of remark - she really did such a great job at facilitating this!
@࿘ COROA ࿗ can we agree you're a tool
because she seems to be a real fan. very satisfying interview!
@icoroa I love finding rare minds like yours, I also agree, it's a very manipulative tactic of forced inclusion either physically and or mentally. To be honest unless you're schizophrenic or have a split personality using "we" is super weird.
Respect.
@icoroawho cares
Kudos to everyone on this great show but Sarah Goldberg's performance in particular is just remarkable.
I have to complement the interviewer; well done not being boring and showing just enough character to know it is a real human asking in depth good questions. Perri Nemiroff, good job.
Finally an interview where you learn about the production with the actors and the director. Great Job Perri!
Anthony Carrigan freestyling as Hank advocating air hockey (24.46) is the defining moment of this interview. Holy smokes. We need a NoHo Hank spinoff STAT! 😀
100% would watch and be the totally geekiest fanboi in the whole fandom lol
I have been pushing this show on everyone around me. One of the best series ever! So funny, so emotional and a brilliant cast and crew!
Same here! I see it gets great reviews, I am a huge fan, yet everyone I try to talk to about hasn’t seen it or not into it as much…it’s so special though, brilliant in its balance between drama, and comedy!
I just watched the first episode of season 4. I must’ve missed the episode and season three where Hank gets out of jail and he and Cristobal end up safely back in the United States. I want to go back and watch that episode without having to watch the entire season three again.
SAME!!! I won’t shut up about it. My sister is getting ready to have surgery & she’s like: “okay, okay, I’ll be home for weeks recovering. I’ll binge watch the series.” I’m so happy. I know she’s going to love it. Its honestly one of the BEST shows ever. Last nights episode had me hysterically crying.
I'm so happy that Bill talks again about Andrzej Wajda! Greetings from Poland 🤓 'Ashes and Diamonds' (based on novel) is a masterpiece of polish classical cinema style era (after WWII) with a broken character type (and iconic actor, Zbigniew Cybulski).
This is a great interview, with different questions that I haven't heard elsewhere. I'm sure it was appreciated by the actors, especially during a press junket when they have to answer the same questions all the time.
Still can’t believe how in the world this show hasn’t taken home more Emmys. Maybe fourth time’s the charm. 🤞
Awards shows are often than not very class discriminatory based on money, if you're from a acting dynasty, a certain school, if you know certain people and many others including the current leaders of the shows simply not liking you and you'll find in terms of Oscars at least that top legends like Ian McKellen, Johnny Depp, Sam Jackson and even the odin of cinema legends Clint Eastwood have gone ignored by them.
it has a couple, more than most shows
Amazing show on screen, best crew, the sweetest cast. Oh, after 8th episode, that's gonna hurt as hell 😢
I know bro. I don’t think I’m ready for what’s gonna go down.
The scene where Jim confronted Gene in the garage made me realize I actually do have the ability to appreciate art in film. I can’t explain it but it made me feel something.
Great interviewer and so many great questions! Great job RT TV!
this is an amazing interviewer!! u can absolutely tell they are passionate about the show and the questions are so deep and i feel they put a lot of thought into them!
Perri is such a great interviewer.
This was a joy to watch. Bill being Bill is always great. Sarah is so well spoken and seems to have a deep understanding of the characters and their motivations. An analytical mind.
Anthony Carrigan is definitely my favorite on the show. Monroe was great as Milton and great here too! And the Fonz...what a humble, lovable guy! Robert was so good at projecting an air of danger and focus. It was almost terrifying.
I was not expecting to have Fuches be my favorite character by the end of it. Stephen Root is awesome.
I binge watched it last week and was hooked,
Wow! What a great interview! Such specific questions and genuine interest in each aspect of the show. Kudos!
Let me say, Barry is the best show to watch when you are doing therapy. I started watching after my second therapy session and binged it in 2 weeks, and it really opened up all the emotions i had bottled up over a lifetime.
Just got into the show about a month ago, LOVE everyone in it, and so thrilled by how out of nowhere some episodes and sections of later seasons are. As much as I would love more seasons, I'll be really looking forward to whatever these guys do next.
DAMN SARAH!!!!!!!! This was so so so cool to watch I’m obsessed with every interview she does it always goes so so hard
Like whoa. Her answers
She's such a good actress. It's wild. I absolutely despise Sally though.
She's SO incredibly well-spoken. Huge brains and talent to boot!
Barry's in prison, huh? He'd better call Saul!
Absolutely cannot wait for this season!! I'm forever glad that I decided to take a chance and watch this show all the way back when it first aired. Right now my excitement is greater than the sadness I'll feel when all of this is over lol
A bit too late to call Saul... if you know what i mean
@@kushwallace691S’aul Gone man
Best interview I've seen in awhile, can't wait to watch this season!
This whole vid is gold, especially love Anthony Carrigan, but also shoutout to the interviewer who did a great job with specific questions and continuing the interview forward!
wonderful interview !!! absolutely dying to watch the new season rn
PERRI on BARRY. Awesome, insightful interviews!! Great job RT cast & crew.
Dang. I normally don't comment like this but Perri killed this interview. As a big fan of the show (and Bill/cast interviews) I learned quite a few new things that nobody has said anywhere else. I hope she gets to do more :)
NoHo Hank is probably my favorite character in modern television
Great questions! Love these interviews.
Great interview. And this show was a game changer. So solid and inventive and brilliantly conceived. For me Noho Hank is one of the great character creations on tv…… Anthony Carrigan showcased brilliant acting talent amongst an entire cast that never put a foot wrong.
Henry winkler and Stephen Root took the show on another level.
Saeson four was a great ending. But my biggest disappointment in this finale was the fact that it was the end. I'm gonna miss Bill's great story tellings.
Great interview! Love when the actors get a chance to voice their experiences and views on their characters
Anybody notice the red swingline stapler in the background of Stephen Root's interview?
Great show and equally great interviews. You asked very thoughtful and specific questions that were far deeper than the usual “how was in to work with The Fonz”. Well done!
love her energy and her questions wow she is so engaged and engaging with great annunciation and genuine interest. she is SUCH a talented speaker.
like its inevitable when youre so professional that things will sound corporate robot but im not digging on her for that its just sometimes her reactions make me feel "oh shes definitely doing her job right now" but thats A GOOD THING because her personality shines through separately but she is so talented and on track and the professionalism is really admirable and complex in its own right idk. bro idk. ive seen so many interviews and different vibes and styles but shes like. a deity in the sphere
No matter what happens... I HOPE NOHO HANK LIVES ON FOREVER!!!!!
Well
Aged like milk
Such an amazing show. I'm really excited (and bracing myself) for the final season. I know this team will do the story justice.
Fabulous interview!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The most amazing thing about season 4 for me so far is the realisation that I had been rooting for some awful people! Such good writing.
Wow, I didn't know Perri is an RT correspondent! Always well prepared, respectful and personable. One of the best entertainment interviewers around.
Perri Nemiroff is a good interviewer.
Sarah Goldberg is incredible I hope she gets more work!
I cried the last episode. Hader, Carrigan, Goldberg, and Winkler should have all won awards. I think Sarah Goldberg was unbelievably good. Best in the show.
Also, great questions from the interviewer. If you can't tell, I just finished the show 😂
Great interview questions. Much more original and interesting than the usual questions.
That thing that Sally said about being safe. I didn't understand at first. Then I realized she had no one to run too.
Its funny that Henry Winkler can be so humble after playing and developing one of the greatest characters of all time on Happy Days. He was literally like a rock star for almost a decade. What a great guy.
The biggest refreshing thing about Barry was that it was entertaining but at the same time I didn’t know what type of show I was watching. I love something new like that
Anthony Carrigan is delightfully refreshing.
I'm going to say it repeatedly: If ANYTHING terrible happens to Hank we are coming for you!
Love clicking on a video and randomly seeing Perri!!!
Excellent interviewer and great questions.
I can’t believe this is the last season, show just flew by. This is a must watch!!
What a great interview! 🙂
Bill is multi talented. Well cast show, such fine actors and storyline. Well done!
Great questions wow Perri killed the interview 🔥🔥🔥 just finished the last episode yesterday. So so so good
Such an amazing show
It is wonderful. Thank you.
I love Bill Hader and Barry as well. Can't wait to see what's his next project will be.
great interviews!
Excellent cast, excellent interviewer.
Great show!
What a great show, sorry to see it go - probably among the best shows in recent memory.
Also, excellent interviewer, much better than so many other outlets.
Incredible show!
Such a good show
So when is Bill Haader and Bob Odenkirk going to team up?
Odenkirk would go crazy on here
Did they overlap during their time at SNL?
Bill haders direction elevated the show to genius. Breath taking genius impact and comedy.
I was thinking of that scene too where Hank confronts Barry in season two. Love that shot where the camera pans over from Barry to just a bald head shining in the light loll all jokes aside it’s great filmmaking:)
Really enjoyed this show. Renewed sub just to watch it. Especially loved noho hank. What a talented actor. Stole every scene he was in. Great show.
Thanx
Barry is such a great show.
Great questions from PN ✨
50 50 with Krystal Ball is still my fav moment of the show
She was really good in the series. Then again the show was crazy good
There is a red Swingline stapler peeking out on the Stephen Root's desk.
I first saw Anthony Carrigan in Gotham. Seeing him in Barry was great! He is really underrated in my opinion!
For sure. He’s one of my favorite comedic actors, and he doesn’t get enough work imo. But I can’t imagine him as a lead.
He’s like a massive pillar that props up lead roles and makes them better.
Love the entire extraordinarily talented cast and I'll miss the show. I'm hoping we'll see a Noho Hank prequel...
would love to see SALLY as a spinoff where she goes on a killing spree.
Fantastic interviewer!
It sounded like Anthony almost answered the first question as Hank.
Great interview!
Also, at 25:25 , is that **THE** stapler?! 🤩
Stephen Root, as I suspected, has a red stapler (a Swingline no doubt) on the desk behind him. Haha love it.
hahah I missed this, excellent catch
thank you for more timber timbre in the soundtrack
I can’t get over who they got to play as El Toro
Pans labyrinth is one of the best movies. I definitely agree with noho hank.
Great show with great actors. Excited to see the rest of season 4 and see how this crazy twisting story ends!

And Hader playing Blake (correction; Hader playing Barry playing Blake) in GlenGary Glen Ross as an empathic "nice guy" was priceless.
I'm going to miss Barry. I'll go back and watch the Mr. Inbetween series again to fill that hole.
This is one of those very rare shows (or films) that will grow in popularity and acclaim for the next few decades (at least) as reality catches up to how far ahead of its time BARRY is.
BREAKING BAD was nearly canned after the first season failed to attract much of an audience. Only the fact that a few experts admired it gave it a second chance season 2.
A decade from now I imagine that many people will not understand how such a masterpiece had such a relatively small audience.
But all the opinions that matter are loudly praising this show - and that's better than any viewing figures. See FRIENDS or THE BIG BANG THEORY to get my point.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Barry is superior to breaking bad 😶
I can't unsee stephen root as bernadettes (big bang theory) boss LOL
How many episodes in season 4?
Like this interviewer
I love Hank & idk why😢😢😢😢😢😢
Emmy deserving
I just watched the first episode of season 4. I must’ve missed the episode and season three where Hank gets out of jail and he and Cristobal end up safely back in the United States. I want to go back and watch that episode without having to watch the entire season three again.
