With all of this happening at once you can see why Yoda was so affected and overwhelmed just before he killed Gree, imaging feeling all of these deaths and all that fear through the force.
Order 66 was not only a genocide ocurrance, it was also an event of psychological torture for those who survived to feel it.
@@moniquita720 can someone who is force sensitive around that time feel it?
@@beanieandboonie6539 Ok, so it would depend on how sensitive the force-sensitive individual is since it's rather on a spectrum, and whether the way they've structured their mind is conducive to a deeper connection to the Force, since being open to the Force is also something that often requires training. One also has to remember that Jedi generally have a better connection to each other due to growing up within the same community. But their genocide was still a great disturbance in the Force. So my answer would be a big fat maybe.
I do think there must have been people who felt that distress while having no idea what it meant.
@@moniquita720ohh ok I understand now thanks

Rex was the first to receive the order. That's means that Palpatine knew that if Ahsoka would arrive to Coruscant, she would convinced her master to back to the light.
Alright i have enough. To all the 2heads who don't have an ability and time to read ALL of my replies and ALL of other people replies, don't comment. Beacouse whatever you want to say was already told by someone else and nobody cares. Stfu and gtfo of here
Doesn't really make sense. Palpatine probably didn't even know who she was. There were much more important targets for him like yoda and obi wan and not some padawan. Also if you're looking at how it is in the video then i want you to know the temple purge didn't take five minutes and it isn't exactly said which one is first but it makes sense for him to get rid of Kenobi first and we see him send a personak message to kill kenobi. @@mrpumavol7.044 "she knew her" what?
@@strukacz5782 palpatine was instrumental in her trial.
He absolutely knew who she was and it makes sense that he personally called the Clone captains of Obi wan, Ashoka and Yoda As he saw them as most likely to interfere with a conflicted Anakin
@@ozdeveraux2082 damn. I didn't know palpatine was a female. And we never learned if he even knew about the siege. After all he was kidnapped when it started. Also clone Commanders not captains. To that. Even if he gave a personal order to him Kenobi was still much more important. Ahsoka was his padawan for like 3 years and obi wan his master for like 20. And he was a council member. Still makes more sense to contact Cody and Gree first.
Given that Palpatine addressed Commander Cody does that mean he called every single clone commander to give the order? That’s dedication. He deserved to win.
No, he only addressed specific clone commanders
He seems to specified certain commanders. For me, I do like the idea of him contacting Commanders Rex and Cody since Kenobi and Tano are close to Anakin.
the order was meant to look like a safety measure incase one or two jedi became traitors( to make palpatine not look like the bad guy if the jedi looked into it) so when his plan came he could only contact them one at a time
Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if he just took a whole day out of his schedule to contact every high ranking clone to personally give the order. This is the day he’s been waiting for for so many years, after all. I bet he’d probably practiced given the order so many times by himself while looking in the mirror wearing his hood.
@@space3817 I keep forgetting that order 66 didn’t all happen at once becuase while he was contacting other clone commanders others weren’t called yet

Things like this show how huge the world of Star Wars is.
in a matter of MINUTES, the damn near entire Jedi Order, wiped out, with a handful of survivors. primarily lucky padawans or experienced masters. the scope of Order 66 was truly terrifying, both in what it accomplished and how it accomplished it.
(now while i said "matter of minutes", that was more for the Order itself. Operation Knightfall probably took an hour or more, but from my understanding, there weren't that many jedi in the temple due to how many jedi were sent out to be with clones across the galaxy)
watching anakin casually talk to his wife while the rest of the jedi run for their lives was sick as fuck
Personally I think Palpatine made personal calls to the commanders who were with obi wan, yoda and ahsoka first because he knew they were the ones closest to anakin, then he sent out a message to every other commander simultaneously
I like this. It makes sense.
I think the same
Thats actually what happened it was even explained too in star wars republic commando order 66 all the arc troopers and commandos got just execute order 66 as well as the bad batch

>Cody and Rex first because Obi-Wan and Ahsoka are the most likely to be able to pull Anakin back, sans Padmé and the unborn Luke (Plus calling Rex early can take Maul out early)
>Most of the other commanders/troops in a generic call to take out the other Jedi
>Gree specifically due to Yoda. Little muppet thing nearly took him out when they fought, so he's a priority

Anakin’s Dark Deeds (aka I’m So Sorry) has to be my favorite piece of music John Williams has made. It’s such a tragic song that elevates every scene it’s played in to the tenth degree. I’m so glad it’s continued being used in other Star Wars projects
I agree but for me “Anakin’s Betrayal” and “Padme’s Ruminations” hits a little deeper
@@1serass idk. Anakin’s Betrayal is fantastic, especially the first half, but the second part of Anakin’s Dark Deeds just encapsulates the sound of defeat and grief so well. I feel like for both pieces of music, you don’t even need to know the plot of the Star Wars movies to feel the raw emotion behind the music
seeing CW season 7 use it ESPECIALLY during such a good scene hit me so hard

I love the concept that Palpatine gave each order separately. I just picture "Execute Order Sixty Six.."
"Yes M'Lord."
"Okay how many was that?"
"27."
"Oh good, we're getting close to being done then... Wait how many more?"
"6...."
"Gooooood."
"..Hundred."
"....What?"
"There are approximately 600 more battalions each with a Jedi."
"Oh to hell with it! Bring them all up!"
"We can't.."
"Why the hell not?!"
"We can only hail 12 at a time."
"Goddamn It!"
I believe he sent out a general broadcast, except for the key Jedi who were pivotal in Anakins life, Yoda, Obi Wan, and Ahsoka
That pause between six and hundred reminded me of Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Think of how many padawans lost their masters/or witnessed masters self-sacrificed. Ahsoka lost Anakin, Cal lost Jaro Tapal, Caleb Dume (Kanan Jarrus) lost Depa Billaba.
And you also have to think of the Masters who made it but lost their Padawans to Order 66 as well

He probably personally addressed cody because he was a Marshal commmander, then cut clips of it to sennd to all the clone commanders, because rex recieved 'the time has come', whereas others recieved just 'execute order 66'

Man that scene gets me every time. Just so intense that the good senators and a handful of Jedi knew from the very beginning of order 66 things weren’t right but were powerless to stop it.
Notice how 3 of the 4 inicial clips where clones being friendly, before….you know what
Also, the amount of clips with so many different tones really shows how crazy the galaxy was then.
2:46 Let the tears flow
That was incredible
It was so interesting that Ashoka felt when anakin finally turned to the dark side, also being one of the first Jedi we see noticing it, perhaps because of her connection to Anakin
that "run caleb" hits different. you can hear the desperation in her voice. the fear and betrayal.
Personally, I would have synched all the clips to the moment the transmission of "Execute Order 66" is made on all the scenes at once.
I love how darth maul waking up to windus hand cut off signals he knows this is the big turning point
EVEN LEGO STAR WARS
Dide watching it all happen at once really shows how instantaneous and chaotic it was
this is the most heartbreaking moment in the star wars universe because 90% of the jedi were good and had great bonds with their clone troops. especially the padiwans
when anakin chops off mace's hand, maul's eyes opened. that's fucking sick.
The single most pivotal event in the galaxy and after how many times I watch it always hurts
Only those with the sharingan are really capable of watching these amounts of deaths all at once
Dont fuck with me, dude. I have the power of ADHD and Fandom on my side
Out of every iteration of Order 66 I've seen, Ahsoka's and The Bad Batch hit the hardest, cause Rex turned for a bit as well, and Caleb hearing his master die as he runs away.
this shit actually got me emotional, its cool to see it from this perspective because you kind of understand what Yoda, jaro and Ashoka sensed when order 66 was given
The utter chaos that ensued in just a few hours
Imagine if Palpatine had seconds window of time to inform all Clone officers to execute order 66, but he somehow stutters and says "ssixtyyysty" but before he could correct himself. Anakin snaps back to reality and stops Palpatine with the help of Windu back up task force. So everything is avoided, Clone Wars end. Anakin kids are raised and hold hands, jumping around in a circle while singing Hallelujah. The end.
Imagine those few clones who don’t join the group call, never getting the order 66 message
Bad batch did a good job showing why individual troopers were acting according to order 66. The message was being played across all channels. all forms of communication.
@@nutcrackit7396 I was joking just saying

So sad knowing so many people died at the same time. Also, if Palps had called Captain Grey first would Depa Billaba have lived? Because the Bad Batch would have been standing right next to her with Kanan and could have protected her.
