I have the 8 oz with the candy dispenser, but I'm thinking about taking the one I have for this kind i think I want a larger one like this. I have not unbox my yet but I had it for a while.
We loved our little guy and this is just *chef's kiss*! I love it already. I like where it is but we might move it up to where we have the pool table. Fun!
Hi Vianney. A great family gift, enjoy watching movies, and eating authentic movie popcorn! I would love this at my house! I’m a popcorn Lover. Enjoy!Enjoy!
Right now I have a small movie theater style paramount brand machine but it’s plastic and cracked in some areas so I’m getting a bigger version of the same brand that’s made with glass doors it also comes with an led light bulb as well as regular light bulb.
Very nice big machine! I could almost smell the popcorn!! Going to try my little Elite popcorn machine tonight. I guess I'll have to buy some seasoning for it.
So, is the sound normal? I want one of these, but I have never owned one, so I have no idea what to expect. That noise though, that would be enough to drive me bonkers. Fantastic review!!
Everyone loves it so much! We used to go to the movies weekly, was it for the popcorn? Maybe! LOL!! Now we can get Disney+ going and have a huge batch of popcorn ready to go! Fun!!
I love Popcorn so much!!! I have to tell you what we have. It was built in the 1930's it is a old Carnival Popcorn stand. It is big enough for a person or 2, to be inside while cooking and selling the Popcorn. People can walk up to the windows to purchase. We restored it many years ago and we fire it up and serve popcorn every 4th of July for our nebighorhood community parade party. It makes the absolute best popcorn ever!!! In our bottom tray it has Formica that helps keep the Popcorn warm, I wonder if yours has the same thing? I bet that is something of the past. We even have all the original glass windows, door, awning and circus lights on ours. I think the kettles make all the difference in how the Popcorn tastes after cooking. Enjoy your new toy. TYFS!!!
@@VianneyCreates I had to tell you about it after seeing this video. I absolutely LOVE our Popcorn stand. I absolutely LOVE yours too. We have it in our yard and have had people stop and ask about it. It's a very cool site. I don't think many are around anymore. The people that gave it to us used to let the Girl Scouts cook popcorn in it, I can't remember if it was for fund raising or not. Happy New Year!!!
LOL! It wasn't too bad, but a year into using this gorgeous machine...she's doing great. We use it at least once a week, and I use it just like I showed...never have had to clean the kettle. A lot of people TELL me to put the salt in the kettle (instructions don't say to do that)...but I think what I do is better as it's super clean! Enjoy your machine.
Wow! You upgraded! We watched your video on the little one and we bought one. We love it but I do need to make a few batches. I find that ours occasionally gets some of the kernels “stuck” as it rotates and cooks the kernels. It sort of makes this strange noise and the kettle sort of shudders. Never thought making popcorn could be so much fun. Haha!! Take care!
Wow! That's awesome, enjoy your little guy. We used ours for (I want to say) at least 5 years! I upgraded because of the pandemic, we do eat popcorn and watch movies way more often...it was time for the upgrade. I haven't had kernels gets stuck before but make sure the bowl is seated right....maybe one of the spinner wires (don't know what to call them) is a little crooked. Might want to try to straighten it ever so slightly and carefully. Just guessing. (:
I'm sorry, I haven't seen one. I am normally super thorough but this was put together close to midnight in the garage for a Christmas gift. It is very easy to put together though. DO you have a specific question maybe I can answer?
I just finished popping some about an hour ago. Miranda was adamant we needed to make popcorn! LOL! I actually made about 30% less and it was the perfect amount. TYSM!!
Did you ever do a caramel corn video? I bought this popper and stand a year ago but haven’t unboxed it until now. I was a little intimidated by the size of the box 🤣
Oh, no! LOL! I hear ya, it was a huge box and item! So, we use it like once a week for regular popcorn, the way I do it...I've never had to clean the kettle! I know a lot of people say they mix the salt and oil, then pop...but then I hear from people of how it's a nightmare to clean. Hmmm...I think I'm doing something right! LOL! No, we haven't done caramel corn in this, but the mix you use for it just goes right in the kettle. I've done it in my smaller machine, it's good...just wipe it out right away so cleaning is easier.
Probably nothing, it depends on the type of kernels you use. I don’t really go for the stuff they sell at the grocery store, I usually order it from Amazon. Like the large butterfly popcorn or whatever whatever other type you think sound good there. Also, I leave the door cracked a little bit as it’s popping because it can create a lot of condensation. I think that helps keep that moisture away.
I’m talking from personal experience, but your popcorn machine can handle 1 1/2 cups or even 2cups of popcorn. My popcorn machine is 8oz and in the manual it said to use 4tablespoon of oil and 2 cups of kernels and I always had a lot of popcorn. It never had an issue popping so much popcorn just that it got burnt a little but then I came across your video and yours is a 10oz and it suddenly hits me that I’ve been following the typo in my instruction manual instead of just 1 cup of kernels. I just thought my manual was correct because I always follow the instructions as is. So if you want to do 2cups of popcorn once in a while just add more oil and you’re good.
Too funny! Actually, I bought the biggest kettle I could just in case...but I normally do 4 Tbs of oil and just under 1 cup of kernels...and we still have way too much left over! LOL!! I don't dare do less than that, though, bc I think it may burn more quickly with less oil. Thanks for the info!
Could you not add the salt to the unpopped corn before popping it so as to distribute the salt evenly as it pops? I remember in high school, we had the same style (on a larger scale of course) which we sold at lunchtime and we added the salt on top of the unpopped corn which worked great!
Yes, I mentioned that (I know the video as long and parts may be skipped or not heard). I mentioned some people add it in with the corn and oil, and that the premade packets do the same. I prefer not to (this instructions also don't say to do that) and I have a very easy time of cleaning it. I don't know if that goes hand in hand, but it seems that it does. TYSM!
Like the vintage but Play recalls artificial I can’t help it it’s all official coloring probably and flavoring which I cannot help and also the coconut oil has beta-carotene which probably bug me I don’t know but I can popcorn anymore because I start choking really bad all right get it so bad my eyes started watering not bad I can’t breathe either I don’t know if I’m allergic to popcorn or what but I don’t need it anymore
Vianney that's a awesome gift for your Family!! I love popcorn!! I need one of those lol. I'd like to see you do different types of toppings. I love your topper.
Love the vintage look. What a wonderful gift for the family. I bet it smelled so good and the kiddos were happy.
Great Popcorn Machines and so pretty..Thank you for sharing I Hope that you and your family have a great night...
How many batches will a 10 oz popcorn machine hold at once ?
I have the 8 oz with the candy dispenser, but I'm thinking about taking the one I have for this kind i think I want a larger one like this. I have not unbox my yet but I had it for a while.
Great machine, I wish we had room for it.Enjoy your Popcorn.
Girl, I had to move some furnishings out and rearrange, but I got it done! LOL! I hear ya!
The popcorn machine looks awesome! Popcorn is one of my favorite snacks. Wish I had a place to put a popper like that! Enjoy!!
Yeah, thanks....now,I want popcorn! Wish I had the room for one of these. Great demo!
My hubby would love this. TFS.

Yikes I want some!! What a great family Christmas gift. Thanks for sharing, I think. ..
LOL! Everyone is loving it over here. Just those few things make the popcorn amazing...decent popping corn, coconut oil, and Flavacol! Yum!!

Thank you very much! Me and a friend are restoring a very similar model that was never cleaned so this is a very helpful overview.
Glad it helped! Good luck!

How fun, I’d love one of these. Enjoy V. 👍🏾💯❤️. Hugz
We are loving it! It took me a couple of weeks to decide which one to get. So good!!
Great gift for the family
It really is! It makes such good popcorn, and a great amount! I used what was left to make chocolate peppermint popcorn! Yum!

Awesome review! Thanks❤
Oh I bet it smells delicious, it really looks delicious! 😋 Thanks

I’m curious about the noise also. Sounded horrible.

@@VianneyCreates that is awesome to hear! Did you ever make a caramel corn video? I couldn’t find it. Thanks again!
Is there any totorial video on how to put it together

Does it have a heat plate at the bottom?
It does not.
@@VianneyCreates ok thx
Which website do you guys order you popcorn supplies? I see some are better than others.
I hope you get some replies, I get my stuff at Smart & Final. I like "Gold Medal" flavorings and sometimes they are on Amazon.

Do you still use it?
Love your machine... I make popcorn most weeks, since im a single i wouldn't need your machine, but i swear i smelled the corn popping! 🤗✌🥰

i had done the same thing with just vegtable oil and it never popped
