Got the same machine (used) about a year ago.. used it maybe 3 times... it looks cute, but microwave stuff is much easier, makes more and take less time. Now I have all these kernels and favoring/seasonings and when am I really going to use them? Can't believe my wife went along with this one. At least mine was already assembled, supposedly used one nite at a house party but original owner.
Don’t have anything like this, but what I do have is a microwave and a popcorn popper that looks like a coffee pot for popcorn, silicone lid also serves as a measure cup and butter drip feed, so you can measure out the amount of kernels you want and put two to three tbs of butter that will melt over while the popcorn is popping. Not gonna like, it’s fantastic!
Hahahahahaha, I can only imagine how much the BIG bag of popcorn is! My mom has a table top popper like that and she only used it once. I guess I should just see if she wants to sell it to me and I’ll take it home this summer.
Nice! I also worried about cleanup so i never use my machine, but i got a tiny one from best buy recently. Its amazing how the smell of popcorn really gives that movie theater feel. You see the movie, hear surround sound, and smell the theater. Yankee Candle also sells movie theater popcorn smelling candles 😂
Any comments on the black stuff on the glass after popping and the clean up? That looked very awkward to load as well. But sometimes it's hard to argue with results ;)
I have a machine like this, the bigger scoop is to measure and add the kernels the smaller scoup is for the oil. If you pour the corn into the popping tin with the scoop it's much easier and less chance of burning yourself 👍🙂
I had this thing. Garbage. Tons of unpopped kernels and good for 1 person not for much more. Stovetop, kernels, flavacol, and butter you can't beat it.
