Tumo is a non-profit organization and technology school in Armenia. The school is set up for aspiring teenagers ages 12-18 to pursue their dreams in areas of state of the art digital technology. Students produce creative content and media applications and at times work on real-life projects. Areas of study focus are animation, video game development, web development, digital video and audio. well, take my assumption with a grain of salt but I think that's blackmail.
The reason Serj isn't as mainstream as other singers is because most people don't really enjoy music (despite claiming to do so). Most people put music in the background, to prevent silence.
I've noticed that people who listen to Serj or other not so popular artists who make good music with good lyrics, they sit down and listen to the music while watching the video. They want to understand the song. Your average person doesn't want to understand the song, so they don't care how good it is.
Rap is only successful for that reason no one cares about the lyrics and it makes them feel unique despite the fact that most of this generation listens to it

As a person from a Democratic country, i can say, that the education system here is piss poor. People here are easily controlled by emotions and social media. Logical thought is a rarity now, and even when people do think things threw, they get singled out and targeted.
