Jim, great video and great kit and price. I already did this conversion last year buying the parts separately and it cost me way more. Your video instructions were spot on.

Looks great! I think I’ll treat myself for Xmas. But sorry you are killing me with that adjustable wrench. LOL. A box wrench or ratchet would improve your life by miles. Cheers!

I was going to send my 15-20-year old Mazzer Mini into retirement but this upgrade seems to be a perfect solution to avoiding old grounds contaminating my fresh grind. Bummer that the portafilter appears so flimsy and sits too low. Hopefully the funnel is narrow enough to avoid grounds spewing all over the place.

Nice vid. I have 2 questions:
    1. How hard is it to convert the Mini Electronic doserless model to purely grind-on-demand?
    2. Is your business name inspired by hockey?

That was hilarious yet somewhat menacing at 1:30

Mine is Mini A, already dozerless, but I don't want the chamber(funnel) either 😅. There's so much coffee retention even I use a single dose pump instead of a hopper. 64mm and its price was the good option, but now my eyes 👀 are on the models which is designed for single dose in particular.. (I am a home user)

Hello Jim, on your site it says that you are sold out. Will you make more kits?

What size are those bolts, please? 8mm?

These are not standard bolts and this is why we use the crescent wrench.

I’ve purchased this kit for my old Mini (~18+ years), haven’t received it yet so I have a question. I clean my grinder after every use, and there are always grounds left in exhaust chute from the cutter head. I usually use my group head brush to loosen this and then run the motor which blows the grounds out and clears the chute. With the new de-clumper screen installed with this conversion, I won’t be able to get a brush in there. I’m worried that is going to cause a problem with grounds packing up and restricting the chute. Any comments regarding this concern? Thanks

You could do what some coffee shops do which is use a hand vacuum to suck out the grounds… some shops modify or attach a small straw to suck those extra grinds out.
