Great video, but I did see 3 issues when looking closely if I'm wrong let me know. 1) You drilled a second set of screw holes, and overlapped your back plate (not sure why). 2) The Screws that come with the back plate come with Screws, but the list has parts with The Screws and washers hand tighten perfectly (I also used the Painters tape to keep tape up the Backplate just to make sure things all stayed line up. 3) The screen should be applied to the back of the Doser then the gasket applied over it. (that was a pain and was able to peel up just enough to get it to work. Oh Lastly on the write up page, the link is wrong for the Doser, so ya'll might need to just update that link. Hope this helps anyone else. :)
omg. In addition to the above, my Mazzer Mini has 2 additional screws (not hex heads...) in the bottom of the doser which are difficult to see as they will be filled with grounds. Tapping the bottom of the doser with a non marring hammer will reveal the screws!!. I would suggest firing the tech who demo-ed this video as he really screwed up the installation (puns not intended...). Not only did he drill 4 holes, one of which partially missed the grinder body, (look closely at the top left hole), he then missed mounting the backing plate in the recess in the grinder body! That's right, cover it all up and don't tell the customer... That, and he doesn't know how to properly use an adjustable wrench on the two screws holding the doser! Just brilliant! I come to the company website to see how it is properly done...not to see half a**** demo any goof on youtube can do...
