Hell yea. I have two JP-8080, one for leads, and one for baselines. and I could get another one but they are unrealistically expensive. I got mine for $450 each back in 2006.

Funny how they criticize Roland. I just watched a video of a guy playing the Prophet 12 at Sequential and this JP crushes it about a 1/12th the size. Perhaps its because I love supersaws but analog is overrated!
The Roland jp8080/8000 and the access virus are the best synths ever made I would personally say the virus was better, but these synths are responsible for arguably the best music made in dance music history from 97/2002.
These are based on the vengeance soundsets and they are not sold anymore. However if you find someone who has the files on their computer they can share.
Back in the day you couldn't get these sounds from software. Today there may be several reasons to own hardware, one being the tactile sensation of turning knobs and pushing buttons, another being owning a piece of history.
@@solaris9250 did you lived in that days? a million samples from hundreeds of mods, premium samples from gravis ultrasound etc. fof now I'm happy with the current technologies, I like Studio One more than Impulse tracker, abd this device I find useless. enjoy the current technologies not necro!
there is no software that can actually do this, many wannabe's say that many plugins can, but that's not true, the only hope is Roland releasing a cloud version. plugins that try to emulate it are JP6K, Diva, Superwave stuff,
