    Interesting! I wonder how the sleeved joints fare in use; whether they stay firm and all, over time, as they transmit power and the twisting forces. Is there any taper to the brass parts or are they constant diameter tubes?

      So far the sections have stayed together when in use, but time will tell if I need to insert a screw. The brass sleeves are a constant diameter, so sometimes a little lube is necessary.

      It works great. Some reports say they’ve had it for years and still going strong.
