    Where can i find the layout of of the elektrical cables on the back of the alternator?

      You can find a free download of the Yanmar 1gm10 workshop manual online with a little searching. That has all of the wiring schematics.

    Is it worth upgrading to a serpentine belt kit for the 1gm10? I put one on my 3ym30 and it made it much smoother in vibration and no belt dust or slippage. Also how do you like the run dry impellers? Never used them. Too bad speed seal went out of business that was a nice little upgrade as well.

      Not sure what you are by a serpentine belt upgrade? The 1GM10 only has one belt and it runs both alternator and water pump.
      As for the run dry impeller, no issue. And I have run it dry at least once since the install, so it was worth the extra expense.

    It's weird seeing the engine position on yours. Mine is basically 80% inside the cabin.

      Yeah the Rogers built boats had a more forward mounting position. You probably have better access too.

      @@EpoxyAndButylTape Yeah, I can access everything without lifting the cockpit deck, which is a godsend!
