Wow, where did you get all that play in your cables. I’ve just received the exact risers for my 696 but I have no chance of getting the play needed to lift the bars that far 😔
Does the cables have enough slack to accommodate the riser? Am worried about brake cable and clutch cable getting pinched. Please advice. Thanks in advance.
Hello. Great video! followed your video I successfully installed Rox handlebar risers on my M821 (feeling good but not test on long haul trip yet), however, I have found that now I cant install steering damper with the standard kit, do you have the same issue with this?
@@juliusfilip9881 Hi. Yes. I'm using a ROX's 2" handlebar risers, according to other youtubers, the cable should be long enough but I replaced the one that is connected to front brake (since I feel it's a bit too tight). The work would be messy if you're not familiar with this sort. Better bring it to a workshop. Anyway the result is satisfying, much better riding position for long haul (I made a 4500km trip). Another sharing is the steering damper installation, I'm using Mupo & its standard kit for M821 but It needed a small adjustment to fit in because of the pre-installed handlebar risers (I had to cut the riser about few mm). For this, I strongly advise you to involve professionals. Hope this helps.
@@LongNguyen-sm3xd Thank You, it helped me a lot. Just last question - does it have some impact to riding the motorcycle in turns? Is it better/worse or the same to handle Monster in twisties? Thanks, Julius
@@juliusfilip9881 I mostly forget how it feels with the original setting but I didn't feel any significant changes (in the bad way) to how the bike behaves when cornering/ turning. I've made so many trips through so many bays with beautiful corners and I haven't seen any problem (I can say this with confident that I'm so in love with how my bike with new setting eat every corners, so smooth).
I was very happy with the risers on the monster. It helped my posture just enough to keep me happy for a few hours on it. Once I bought the multistrada I removed the risers since it's more comfortable and both bikes have more balls than I do.
Are you sure that part number will fit? I have a 2014 ducati monsters and the rox website has a different part number.
Will this fit a monster 1200 s 2018 model. If so what is the measurements of the bar clamp please.

Yes there is enough room for the cables to safely operate. Another inch taller and you may need to replace the cables.

Hello, I have also M821 and thinking about risers. Which one did you use? Pivot 2inch risers? Are the cable long enough? Thank You very much. Julius
