Oil pressure got up around 70psi so it’s good! Glad I could inspire you 👊
@@Teysik Last couple that posted first starts in the groups has had no luck with oil pressure it seems so good for you so badass
@@wackyk1dtrammel510 it took AWHILE to get any pressure just cranking it. As soon as I got oil to flow out of the turbo feed I figured it was good enough to start

I just installed an evans-fisher fuel pump in my Lexus gs300 to feed my 2JZ. Does anybody know if they are reliable pumps? It was only $37 from Amazon
Fuel pumps aren’t very expensive to begin with, so I’d go with namebrand. Fuel is important
@@Teysik yeah you're right I should have bought a denso. I would feel much more comfortable now, I know that. I love that 2jz engine tho my friend. It really is smooth and powerful. I'd love to get another 100 HP out of it but not sure how to economically do it.
@@seane.9937 for 100hp you’re gunna have to get a power adder. 2jzs don’t get that great of gains from cams. Maybe if you stroked it as well, but none of it is economical haha

Why would you be trying to start it with a open throttle body and no cooler. Just a giant leak, most cars will struggle to run at the best of times let alone not even being connected.
