Nice neat installation. Much better than most new vans from the dealer.
When would you select the charge only setting?
Say if you had a generator set on a timer when no one is using AC power, it would allow battery charging but not activate the inverter feature when the generator shuts down. The inverter uses a bit of power when on standby with no AC load.
When you leave the system unused for a while or in storage. Or on a long winter night to extend the batteries
