A better fight would be tombstone vs bane
In terms of strength it's closer, Tombstone still has the edge though, and unlike Rhino, he isn't as easy to trick. Bane could theoretically trick Rhino into beating himself, like Spider-Man does, which despite what the guy who made this video thinks, isn't due to prep time, Spidey typically does it, on the fly. Bane wouldn't be able to do this to Tombstone, and unlike Spider-Man, doesn't have the strength to just trade blows with him either.

Rhino is not just Stronger and more durable then Bane. He is also dramatically faster. He keeps up with the likes of Spider Man, Juggernaut and Hulk. These guys all fight with Superhuman speed as well as power. When he says its not close he is not kidding. Yes strategy can give you a leg up but...There is only so much a good game plan can do.
Think I read one comic where Juggernaut fought Rhino and actually killed him. It was 20 years ago so it's been awhile since I read the comic but I do remember she Hulk also being in that comic.

It’s not even the fact that Rhino could easily overpower Bane, it’s just that along with separating the mechanism that feeds him venom. Rhino wins this 9/10 times easily. Don’t kid yourself it’s not that difficult to acknowledge. This is simple math but some of y’all turn this into a stupid dick measuring contest wake up.

I agree. But, I believe Bane is intelligent enough (when he isn't villain bragging or raging out) and vicious enough to do it.

Rhino casually one-shots. One is a Batman villain who can barely lift 5 tons while the other is a Spider-Man villain who can far exceed the 100 ton benchmark.
Bane casually one-shots. One is a highly intelligent, well-trained, tremendously strong fighter/assassin who has beaten Batman on multiple occasions; the other is a "more awn Nick" thug in an electric super-suit. 😏

If Rhino can fight Iron Man or the Grey Hulk, what is Bane even going to do? Punch him? Good luck with that. Bane is another civilian for Rhino to go through...and beating Batman is absolutely irellevant and not any bit impressive.

Very good. Rhino often doesnt get the respect he deserves in terms of his ability to beat opponents in matches like this. The guy is almost as much a Hulk villain as a Spidey villain.

You're telling us that Bane can hurt Doomsday with everything in one punch? That's ridiculous. You could amplify Bane x's 10 and maybe Doomsday would feel, or notice one of his attacks. But again, that's DC comics. No logic at all. It takes Superman, not holding back, almost everything he has to injure Doomsday.
Bane is an incredible opponent vs Batman because he is that skilled, tough and extremely intelligent. If he weren't on par in the intellect category with Batman he would be NO challenge.

10 ton strength should have limits just like 90 ton strength should have limits. To make everything fluid brings anarchy and makes everything a coin flip. You simply cannot put a naked Batman in a 20 foot steel cage with a naked Rhino and think it will be a coin flip.
There has to be some logic even in fantasy. The lines can only be blurred so far before it all becomes just nonsense. The story, if nothing else, needs to make sense. Otherwise, it all becomes a big Crayon fest. In the last 10 years, that is exactly what it has become.

Spiderman smart? Spiderman is not a tactician. He's lab coat smart and invents great gadgets, but Bane has smarter battle sense.
@@youtubu124Peter is pretty good at planning and is used to thinking on his feet because most of his enemies dramatically outmatch him in at least one stat. The fact he's a tech genius and the single best biologist in all of Marvel does help but he wouldn't survive long against the likes of Rhino, Electro and Sandman without being a great tactician. Plus he's the hero, usually the one reacting while Bane gets time to think his plans through
It doesn't require being Spider-Man smart. It barely requires being smarter than Rhino. You do need some agility though.

Here's the thing, if Batman and Spiderman were to trade rogues galleries for one month, Peter might think he was on vacation and Bruce would be dead. Spidey routinely takes on metahumans of dangerous, deadly ability, and manages to get the W on the regular. Bats on the other hand usually has to get help from the league to take on foes like Grundy, or needs insane prep time to take on Clayface, Bane, or Ivy's mutants. Hell I think their closest match would be Catwoman vs. Black Cat, and even then, I'm betting on Felicia to win against Selena, just because Ms. Hardy has that aura of unluck at her disposal. Outside of those two, the power gap just get hilariously bigger as you get closer to their respective top enemies.
That being said, some other Bats V Spidey rogues gallery villain matchups to showcase would be:

Green Goblin vs. Joker.
Doctor Octopus vs. Penguin.
Kingpin (Wilson Fisk) vs. Black Mask.
Catwoman vs. Black Cat.

Bullseye vs. Deadshot.
Mr. Freeze vs. Hobgoblin.
While there are a few on that list who are smarter at science in their specific fields than is The Joker, The Joker is overall more intelligent and cunning when it comes to making up plans. He has to try to outwit Batman on a regular basis and even does a lot even if his victories are only temporary. Really the villains in Batman's story are lunatics taking advantage of how corrupt a city Gotham has become, while Spiderman's villains are less crazy and more monsters or arch criminals. They're really different types of opponents, so swapping them is like comparing apples and oranges. But that said I wouldn't assume Spiderman would have a super easy time. He's dealt with crazy before but not the levels of crazy Batman deals with.
@@Tletna I would argue that Green Goblin is every bit as crazy (maybe even more so) than Joker, while having the resources of Luthor, and greater physical ability than Bane.
The Lizard has the mind of genius, no morality, can fight in true 3-dimensional combat, on land, in the water, or even on vertical surfaces, and is still completely sane DESPITE wanting to turn humanity into sapient lizards.
I would also say Kingpin is better at planning and execution than the Joker since he's almost never been truly brought to justice, in a city that is NOWHERE near as corrupt as Gotham. I think Kingpin has only been put in jail once or twice. And one of those times was voluntary.
@@Tletna Now while most of these matchups aren't one to one, I would say they occupy roughly the same niche in terms of character concept.
The cats for instance are love interests that test their respective heroes resolve.
The two snipers represent ruthless efficiency and a true need for caution.
Doc Ock and Penguin represent outsiders who have had to claw their way to respect.
Gobbie and Joker are villains who have pushed their respective heroes to their absolute limit, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Please. This isn't even fair. Bane has ZERO chance against Rhino. Bane isn't some Hulk-lite character; he's basically WWF wrestler: a big, strong guy on steroids. He's a bit stronger than Batman; he's NOT in Rhino's league. Not even CLOSE.

Grundy is specifically written to be inconsistent. Feats over Grundy are basically useless because he can easily be too durable for Superman to beat, in one incarnation, and then get one shot by Batman, in another. Bane can win this fight though.

You said Batman was granted Superman level strength and Bane took those blows. If Bane can take that, he should be able to take some shots from Rhino. Not even the Hulk matches Superman in strength.

I don't know why you're saying Rhino is way stronger. I do agree though that they're both way stronger or more durable to the point where it doesn't matter even if Bane is juiced up. Bane picks up semi-trucks and throws them, while Spiderman holds up high rise buildings. Even though Rhino loses to Spiderman he does fight against him on the regular. The only way Bane could win is through a good plan. The Rhino is a moron in some stories, like brickwall thick. Bane's intelligence varies a lot more though and is sometimes pretty high.

Rhino probably has a bigger strength advantage on Bane, than Bane has on Batman. If Bane is too slow to realize that even at his strongest, he's completely outmatched, Rhino is going to murder stomp him. Bane also has an intellect that rival's Batman. He's smart enough to realize how outmatched he is, and can utilize his environment to his advantage, and beat Rhino, similarly to how he is typically beat by Batman, or how Rhino is usually beat by Spider-Man. Rhino is not very smart, and never learns from his mistakes, so outsmarting him should be child's play for Bane. If they were fighting in some endless abyss, meaning there is no environment to use, Bane wouldn't stand a chance.
I think when fights against Bane are discussed there should be one answer for with the "venom" and without it (natural).
I agree. Bane is just very strong without the venom. Like a strong normal (well very large) person.
@@Tletna I posted on another thread that I want a Wilson Fisk vs Bane fight discussed. My personal opinion is that with venom he totals Marvel's "kingpin" and wins easily but without the venom he is still stronger than Fisk but the gap in strength is not as extreme and that Fisk might have superior martial arts skills and intelligence that could help fill that gap especially if he has a weapon for hand to hand combat like his cane.

Please debate Bane vs Wilson Fisk (Marvel's "Kingpin). I want TWO debates. One where its each of them plotting against each other in a "turf war" where each gets to use their allies and resources and one where its just a one on one street fight.
Kingpin wins the long strategy fight (though Bane *could* win with a good enough plan, he's outwitted Batman on some occasions). Bane wins a more sudden fight if juiced up. The first warfare fight would be interesting to see a cartoon, live-action video or analysis video of though, and you could have both be prideful and insist upon the fisticuffs at the end regardless of who won the long term battle. Maybe Kingpin buys his own super soldier serum and wants to test it himself versus what Bane has. That would be an interesting crossover story.
Bane has nothing on Rhino unless he uses his remarkable intelligence. Otherwise, Bane gets eviscerated in a straight up to the death random encounter.
Rhino would annihilate Bane he is vastly stronger and invulnerable to most attacks Bane could launch. not even close is a understatement.
New york Yankees versus a little league team.....that's basically how fair this match up is. Rhino fights the Hulk, Bane fights Batman. Bane can't handle the brute force of the Rhino, and he's not fast enough or skilled enough to close the gap. Not to say Bane can't pull a win, but it's going take a story giving him a massive power up, some means of powering down the Rhino to do it, or him pulling off some very elaberate plan to use outside forces to wear down the Rhino before coming to finish the job. Heads up out of the box with no modifiers/handicaps Rhino easily wins.
Spiderman lifting 80 tons?? That is more than Rhino. I thought spiderman was in the 10 ton range.
@@jimmyj7816 Spider-Man has lifted well over 120 tons doing things like supporting the half the daily bugles weight, landing a plane when the nose gear wasn’t function or his most notorious when he was trapped about the drown and lifted the base that was on top of him.

That was early on. I've got some old 80's issues of the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe where he is listed as a ten tonner. Since then he has done feats that far surpass that. Believe it or not, the Thing at one time was only able to lift 5 tons. Then he went to 85 tons. Now he can lift thousands of tons. I've got old Handbooks where Wolverine was stated as only lifting 500 pounds. Luke Cage was only able to lift a ton early on. Most characters have been given massive upgrades over the decades.

Bane is powerful and ruthless. He's a force to reckon with. But, Rhino is a wrecking crew all to himself. Two of my favorite villains. The original badasses.
They're just very different villains aside from both being very strong.
If this fight takes place before her death, then Bane is smart enough to leverage Oksana against Alexei and ultimately gain the upper hand without throwing a punch. In general fisticuffs though, Bane becomes a smear on the pavement.
Rhino was defeated by a depowered Juggernaut. Juggernaut doesn't have the tactical mind of Bane. Bane wins hands down.

i'd love to see a scenario where Captain America gets swapped into Gotham as part of some crazy experiment where he and Batman switch places, forcing Cap to face not only Batman's rouges but also just the moral and systemic corruption found in Gotham.
The Cap fight made sense in context: they were sealed in a collapsed basement and Rhino used up his air supply first, but Cap and the people trapped with him would have suffocated as well shortly thereafter if rescuers hadn't reached them

@@sakalamkoa6089 While I do believe Metallo is stronger than Rhino, the reason Superman struggles against him is due to the Kryptonite. It's not like Metallo is on par with Superman, when it comes to strength alone.

Rhino can officially lift 75 tons *without* his suit. In the same bio, it said he could lift 85 with it. He’s had at least one power-up in the comics since then though, enabling him to crush the second Rhino and in practice he’s as strong as She-Hulk, Colossus or the Thing
If your biggest accomplishment is that you beat Batman, you have no chance against Marvel heroes or villains.

Both have claws. Both are superhumanly-strong. Both have a healing factor. Who wins?
Lizard is faster and stronger, not sure who has the faster healing factor. I guess the fight would be like Wolverine vs Sabretooth with a tail. The advantage Wolverine would have is the adamantium. Wolverine can heal from the claw strikes and bites from the Lizard but his bones won't break. Wolverine's cuts go deeper, he can break lizard's bones or even cut off limbs. Lizard may get in more shots but Wolverine can deal much more damage.

Bane is far too intelligent to square off in a fistfight.
He’s Batman’s equal in intellect. He’d come up with a way to beat someone as dimwitted as Rhino.

Kraven's odds of winning are better than Rhino's. Kraven isn't even close to as strong as Rhino, but he's still plenty stronger than Bane, and just as smart. Bane is strong enough to actually deal damage to Kraven, but he's got to be able to hit him, and if Kraven just decided to trade blows with Bane, he should win. Once Bane starts getting desperate and uses his Venom, he loses his intelligence, which is the 1 thing that Kraven doesn't have an advantage in. When that's over, so is any hope Bane ever had.
Blade vs wolverine next plz
Blade is one of the few hero/villains intelligent enough to take out The Wolverine, but Wolverine has many years experience in warfare as well and would probably blitz Blade. It would be fun to watch if they don't allow Logan to blitz Eric. Eric has the skills and gadgets. I don't think they'll do anything long term versus Logan but maybe maybe short term. It would be fun to watch either way. Maybe Blade uses some tranquilizer on Wolverine to knock him out and it fails but slows Wolverine down so they're a closer match, I could see that scenario. Also, this cannot be end of story evil full vampire powers Blade, that wouldn't be fair to Wolverine unless it is when Wolverine was horseman of Death for Apocalypse or some other ultimate version of Wolverine. They got to be at equivalent levels of power progression so the fight will be more entertaining. Blade and Wolverine both definitely have the skills though. I wonder if Marvel Comics, or Batinthesun or Death Battle has done this matchup yet.

There's one major fault in your Bane has no chance argument. It assumes Bane WOULD fight Rhino in a straight up fist fight. Remember Knightfall. Bane didn't confront Batman at full health and say let's go! He's not just smart, he's a super genius. Ra's al Ghu almost considered Bane as a legitimate replacement for Head of the Demon. Bane is a master strategist. So, yeah we can all concede Bane loses every time in a fight where these two guys are dropped into a open space, no escape, whoever wins wins scenario, but that implies Bane doing something he WOULDN'T do. If Bane can come up with a strategy to take down the world's most dangerous human (Batman), then he can certainly do it against Rhino. Rhino only wins if it's turning a corner, no prep, no prior knowledge, let's go, but how often does that really happen in the stories? There's always some character observing another, some prior meeting...
Bane (Dark Knight Rises) vs Kingpin (Netflix/MCU)
Bane, he's likely stronger, but definitely not weaker, and he's a smarter fighter. Kingpin can manipulate people into doing what he wants them to do, but that kind of intelligence doesn't translate to a fight, anymore than Wolverine's battle tactics (which are underrated) makes him a rocket scientist. Fisk is not a battle strategist.
@@jeremygott7709 Even though Bane has somehow outwitted even Batman at times, I think The Kingpin is more clever and ruthless. And, while Spiderman was holding back, Kingpin has taken blows from him. I don't know if Bane could take any blows from Spiderman. Maybe with the strongest version of his venom Bane is stronger than Kingpin. The Kingpin is far stronger than he looks. He is large and peak human level strength. Yes, Bane is stronger than that but only when juiced up. Tactics don't matter if you cannot hurt or subdue your opponent. This is why it would be so difficult for Bane to defeat Rhino without a very good plan, though I *do* think Bane has a chance of winning with the right plan. The Bane vs Kingpin fight would depend upon how much intelligence and awareness could Bane retain while high on his venom and if Kingpin had prepared some contingency for Bane or did he not know about Bane before the fight since The Kingpin is a more long term schemer like you implied.

Bane can't beat Rino in a head on fight because Rino outclasses him in every way except two. Intelligence and skill.
For all of Rino's strength and durability, he only has one strategy. Charge at the enemy and beat it to death.
Bane on the other hand would realise how far Rino outclasses him and would therefore have to outsmart Rino.
Bane could try tricking Rino into running off a building/cliff or into deep water. With how heavy Rino is, I really doubt he can swim.
He could try using smoke or gas.
He could try dropping someone heavy on him or cause an avalanche/cave in/collapse a building on his head.
Like you said, Rino has been beaten by weaker yet smarter opponents before. I think Bane has the greater advantage.

I agree. Spider Man almost always is holding back in every fight against almost every opponent. Or, he's distracted trying to save people. Very rarely is Spider Man just focused on hurting or killing one opponent with all his strength and/or without mercy. But, then, the same could be said for Batman but Spider Man is way physically stronger than Batman. Neither one is street level, nor is Bane, nor is The Rhino (physically-speaking, mentally Rhino ranges from dumb as a brick to maybe sort of clever like most criminals).
He’s street level conceptually and thematically. Deal with it.

Bane is smarter - way smarter, and although this rarely would come into play in a street fight, Rhino is almost always portrayed as being very very stupid. Bane was also trained by the same people who taught Batman how to fight. He's faster, quicker, smarter, and overall a better fighter. Rhino still has an edge because he's practically invulnerable, but without that edge, Bane wins.

Bane tops out at about 10 tons. Rhino is routinely in the 50-60 ton range and is armored somewhat. Bane could be hitting him and Rhino would just say,' Are you done yet?' Then easily break Bane's back.
Bane isn’t wearing a suit that gives him the ability to throw cars, squat 100+ tons, and run through buildings. Even with Titan, a punch from Rhino to Bane’s unprotected skull will k!ll him. Rhino no-diffs.
The suit increases his durability but Rhino doing all that other stuff is just him I think, he’s a legit superhuman underneath that.

No that can take multiple punches from the hulk should be remotely effected by any one who's less than multiple tons in strength. Bane punches would be like rain drops to the Rhino.

The first one and the last one are badly mismatched.
The Thing can stalemate Hulk a few time, but only won only one time in 1 on 1 without any amp, but unfortunately that only one time Hulk was mind-controled. Meanwhile Hulk won most of the time even when The Thing team up with other heroes.
And in my knowledge Rhino's never won against Juggernaut. Meanwhile the Depowered Juggernaut without helmet once beat Rhino badly without much effort.

Most of these are fairly one sided.
The Thing smashes Bane harder than the Rhino does. Ben grim is a fighter, and knocks how use his strength properly. He won't be easily tricked into a trap or fooled into hurting himself.
Deathstroke and Sabertooth- this could probably be a good fight. Both have edges over each other, but either could plausibly win.
Talon(court of owls) vs Morlun- Morlun outclasses Talon, as Spiderman villains are scaled to deal with Spiderman, and dwarf Batman and his foes in most cases. Morlun is faster and stronger by alot being a vampire, and flies.
Lizard mauls Manbat. Lizard fights against Spiderman, as he just so much stronger than Manbat. Lizard can take far better hits, and deals more damage back. Man bat can fly,but the Lizard is more than fast enough, and can quickly scale walls and leap great distances. He likely can catch Manbat and end the fight when he does.
Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly or Kaine...doesn't matter) smash the Red hood. Spiderman characters outclass batman characters in physical stats by too much for their skill to matter all that much. A guy who's in the 40 ton range or better against someone who's peak human shape. The Spiderman characters are just so much faster than normal humans, they would run circles around any of the Batfamily. Between the raw power and speed, they can easily connect with their weaker foes. Not to mention the webbing would be extremely difficult for any of the Batfamily to remove, as they could be subdued by it quickly.
Rhino vs Juggernaut is pointless. Juggernaut wins effortlessly. You can't physically harm the Juggernaut, and that's all the Rhino has. Any pure bruiser character loses to Cain easily as his force field voids any attacks they have. Juggernaut can only be harmed by someone magical, or psionic in nature. Most people have beat Cain thru ring outs since beating him down isn't an option.

@Lastjustice second Spiderman is faster than every bat family except batman. Batman is to fast for Spiderman to even perceive. Fast enough to touch thawne seconds are weeks to him, touch speedsters, red lanterns, Batman moves around so fast he has been described as a blur. On many occasions he has been able to move so fast he perceives bullets in slow motion. If he can react to slade , Peter can't touch him
