But imo, throwing him in space also counts as a win, as he is unable to come back and will just float in limbo for eternity.

Not really. Planes can glide even when their engines are off. Even if he couldn't hold the plane from the hull, he could have held it from the plane's wheels and guided it down.
@@mrlloydval2887 yes and no, it's really the landing that has the most threat, planes deceleration is controlled at the wings not the landing gear, or even the nose. Think of him like a bullet his strength would be an opposing force on the hill or equipment in such a small area that the stress would cause the metal to bend and break. Superman gets away with it because of the tactile telekinesis which homelander doesn't seem to have. It's the same reason the armored truck split around queen Maeve.
It's been shown a few times that he's not as strong when flying, mainly because he doesn't really create his own leverage. If you throw a bus at him when on ground it'll split around him, if you throw it when he's flying he'll fly with it

Homeland is utterly terrifying in the Boys universe. In essentially any other universe with super powered beings that I'm familiar with, he'd be a chump. He-Man, Evil Ernie, a Saiyan or half of Marvel could take him out without any real effort.
Homelander nearly got taken out by a pencil. He can't hurt Wolverine and if he ever makes the mistake of getting near Logan, he's deader than fried chicken.

She would be damaged worse than wolverine or Deadpool by the same attack but she would heal faster than wolverine or Deadpool from the same amount of damage. Homelander cannot hurt wolverine because of his defense. Wolverine has both insane defense and offence like Deadpool but he can actually hurt Homelander. Homelander thinks he's unstoppable, and never really experienced something so dangerous, he doesn't know what Wolverine throws at him.

The massive disparity in skill, experience, and durability doesn’t make things any better for Homelander. Why not do some more battles with Soldier Boy (and preferably pick “closer than you think” matches cause they’re actually interesting).
Here is how the fight with Wolverine is going to go. Wolverine draws his claws right to shred homelander to bits. Then wolverine suddenly explodes because Homelander just flew into him going 1,500 miles per hour which is Homelander's way of saying "fuck your couch". While wolverine does have healing factor, even that has limits, and with wolverine's organic material exploded off his admantim skeleton it is going to force wolverine to change his pronouns to There/Over There.

In fatal attraction after his metal was removed, it's confirmed that what we've been reading throughout the years is a weaker version of Wolverine. The Feral Wolverine with jagged claws is Wolverines true face which also means that his healing factor may be stronger since the metal was removed but none of that is actually confirmed but it's implied. Also, Wolverine wont come back if his head is removed from it's tendons. In a dreamscape, Dr. Doom took Logans head off very easily but it was all a dream but it's implied by the writer that is the case which means that Logan heavily relies on his Metal to tank assaults and without it and his Feral state, it's easy to put him down. Either way, Logan is taking the fight because Homeland has no prior knowledge to how powerful his metal is. If he spams the field at a distance and if the firm informs him on Logan, Homeland is winning easily if he does nothing stupid. Heat vision is pretty powerful compared to bullets and just flames. He can cook Wolverine to an extent he's unable to move while healing and then tear Logans head off. If Punisher can put Logan down with a two piece, Homelander has a shot.
Also Wolverine's joints and tendons are not laces with adamantium, this means that if simeone rips him in half his bottom half will regrow without adamantium and this is important because someone with superhuman speed and strength and flight like homelander can just instantaneous rip off Logan's head along with his spine.

Accurate. Only option for evil super baby is to blast with the heat vision then fly away as fast as possible. Maybe just run immediately. Wolverine is way too dangerous for the vast majority of hand to hand fighters unless they also have incredible healing factors, are super skilled fighters, and/or have some non-melee skills like mind-control or telekinesis or something to stop Wolverine without getting a taste of those claws.

These comments are great. Homelander may have the speed and power fsctor on his side, but he is also an egotistical show pony. He COULD just rip Logan's limbs off, or throw him into orbit, or drop a building on him, etc. But HL is a bruiser, not a strategic masterminded. He often lets people hit him because he is not worried it will dp anything. He will toy with Logan, like he did with Maeve. The difference is that Logan has the weapons to mess him up, and unless we are giving HL knowledge of Logan's powers and arsenal, he will be caught off guard and turned into sushi.
I can only see Homelander beating wolverine in one of two ways and they’re both basically the same use all of his strength and speed right up front to grab Wolverine by the wrists and prevent him from popping the claws, then it would just be a matter of keeping him separated from oxygen either by trapping him at the bottom of the ocean or flinging him into space. But Homelander believes his own hype and doesn’t know who he’s dealing with so he’s probably gonna get himself killed.

There's a lot Homelander can do with his super-speed. Blink would be a good X-Man to take him on because if he uses his eye lasers, she can teleport the beam so that it hits him in the back like she did with Hyperion. Mimic would be a good choice especially if the other members of the Seven are watching as he gets the powers of nearby supes without requiring physical contact like Rogue. Selene (Black Queen) could possibly catch him unaware given her looks and drain his lifeforce. If it's a two man team against Homelander, then Leech and Thunderbird.

Depends, if he melts wolverine, rips his body apart, throws cars on him, and pulls his head off. There's a ton of things Homelander can do to Wolverine that would nullify him, easily winning. Now if Homelander tried to melee him, good old hand to hand, Homelander would be at a huge disadvantage. A very interesting subject to discuss as usual! Homelander may have specific powers that defeat Wolverine but Logan has something that Homelander could never hope to match: Actual Combat Experience. The Wolverine has been alive for over two centuries, fighting dozens of wars across his lifetime. Sure, Homelander could pulverize him with the initial attacks but Logan's regenerative ability and combat experience allow him to avoid them and stay on top of Homelander whenever possible. As Homelander gloats on how much superior he is over the Wolverine, Logan will eventually find the chance to decapitate the arrogant bastard with his claws or tear his heart out with his adamantium claws. Also, may I suggest more characters to pit against Homelander? The first character that I would recommend is Vilgax - the intergalactic warlord from Ben 10 universe. I've had a lot of free time lately so I've been catching up on the original Ben 10 series. Vilgax stands out for me as one of the BEST VILLAINS in my childhood simply because of how much of a menace and terror to Ben for me.
We've seen other heroes take homelander's heat vision with zero damage when regular humans got carved up. Main difference between the Boys universe and marvel comics or films is that until recently, majority of marvel was pg13. The Boys went out of their way to be rated R to illustrate what would really happen if humans got powers. If they made Superman more realistic, then he could carve people up too or even disintegrate them. So, I wouldn't say Homelander's heat vision would be that effective in harming Wolverine. Any minor burns would, of course, heal quickly, too. Plus, he's adept at fighting Cyclops so he'd use his claws to deflect them as well.
Wolverine has a way better healing factor than Kimiko, and on top of that has the durability to endure anything Homelander throws at him. Homelander got injured by Maeve, Wolverine’s claws would cut through him like butter.

@Mr__V so does batman regularly. As a matter of fact it's hard to find a comic character that is said to have normal speed NOT dodge bullets. Logan has slight superhuman strength and his speed in battle is above average superhuman, but like I said , not much different than batman's.

Homelander is insanely strong and durable. You constantly "underestimate" him in many, many confrontations. He is a bad character so it seems to rest. Wolverine in many cases loses consciousness quite easily.
If Homelander would hope to even stand a chance against Wolverine he would have to fight the perfect fight. But since he has a very low combat capability that isn’t going to happen.
Homelander is 2000 times more stronger . Plus he moves with enormous speed ... He's basically a mini superman meaning he can beat Magneto or any mutant that is not Omega Level so it takes someone like Apocalipse to defeat him

It wasn't that he didn't have the strength, but he would rip through the hull if he tried. That being said, you are 100% correct. Overstating Spider-Man is a bad of a problem as nerfing Spider-Man. I agree that Spider-Man is massively stronger, faster, etc than he is given credit for......but it is by no means true that "NOBODY CAN TOUCH HIM". That is simply a false statement. Plus....any decent writing will include vulnerabilities as well as strengths. The Superman character needed kryptonite....otherwise the stories are boring and pointless. @@chandie5298 Spiderman isn't the flash but he has some pretty insane speed feats. He can dodge bullets and lightning and he's swung using his webs at least the speed of sound before. Spiderman has insanely fast agility and reaction speeds and that's without his sense. His sense is what would make him borderline untouchable. Hell just look at Tom Holland's Spiderman in NWH. His sense was powerful enough to literally sense when Goblin took over Norman. If he can do that, then I don't know what attack Wolverine could possibly have that Spiderman wouldn't be able to dodge off of pure impulse. And a lot of people forget that his sense works impulsively. As in it reacts by itself. Which they actually show throughout all of the live action Spiderman movies since Raimi's first film. The fight would basically be a standstill. Wolverine would literally not be able to even remotely touch him. But Spiderman wouldn't be able to put him down either. But given Spiderman's strength feats, he could 100% restrain him or even knock him out. I don't even know if Wolverine could escape his webbing if he was trapped in it considering his webs usually have a greater tensile strength than steel. And the adamantium is the very thing preventing Wolverine from having greater strength than he normally would since it holds back his mutation.

His ligaments need to be strong enough to help support his muscles and move the adamantium which bien sod ned a bit when you move them. He can also very easily regenerate them. That isn’t doing anything.

However, the big reason Wolverine's been able to bounce back has been his healing factor. It's been capable of helping him recover from being reduced to a skeleton, getting bisected, and worse. So, Homelander could potentially beat Wolverine, but he'd have to go all-out from the start.
Homelander's strength is not tied to him being in the air vs on the ground. The reason that he could not catch a plane / subway train is because of the strength of those objects. He even said it himself on the plane - he would just punch through the plane like it was made of paper. The small amount of metal hull that he would be able to physically touch would not be able to support the entire weight of the plane. Therefore, he would just punch a hole in it. You actually see the same issue in the scene that you showcased with Queen Maeve and the armored car. The armored car didn't crush her or send her flying, but she did split it right down the middle. Not because she wasn't strong enough to catch it, but because it was not solid enough to be caught. It's actually one of the largest scientific inconsistencies with most strength based superhero feats.
It really depends on where he is holding the plane actually. If he held it by the landing gear where it is designed for greatest rigidity it might have worked.
Homelander wins easy. He will laser him. Wolverine will get up. Homelander will lazer him for a very very long time. Homelander will fly away thinking he won. If Logan hunts Homelander down again then homelander will do the same but then throw his body into space or have it collected for study by vaught. Homelander doesn't really close if he doesn't have to. Seeing damage being done and seeing how it does effect logan....for a bit anyway, he will keep going. He will close only when logan can't move or act, and that is only to taunt him. Homelanders reaction speed is such he can move faster then an explosion from a bomb. So he can move between 1700m/s to 3000m/s. What is logans top speed? 45mph is his top run speed. His fastest reaction time if 0.032. I think homelander wins hands down. The issues with comic book characters is the writers just don't keep abilities cannon. They don't understand or remember oh yeah this is how that ability works. Alternatively they just change it cus its cool. For example Logan can't heal memories. If his brain takes damage that destroys brain matter, the damage he healed but the neural connection is not, thus he losses memories. Him being nuked down to his skeleton looks cool but would result in him having no memories and him being a big human baby when he heals. Its not cool so its not done. Same for old man Logan. Logan has perfect cellular regeneration. As such he can't age. He can only age if his mutant ability is shut down or suppressed and whatever aging happens is then irreversible. And any time spent with an absent or weakened mutant ability would also rapidly age him due to his cells having no telomeres. This also cuts both ways. In only the few seasons they have been kicking around, the boys has shown the deep as being capable of surviving in the Mariana Trench. This means his body can take 8 tons of pressure per square inch......with no effects at all. In universe he is looked at as a joke but they also off offhandedly show him as a tank. Writers can't keep things together or just want a certain thing so disregard what is already shown.
Thing with this video is it forgets that Soldier Boy managed to bruise Homelander and Maeve managed to make him bleed (something Butcher, Soldier Boy, and Hughie combined couldn't do)
My first instinct said Logan. If homelander just flew around and spammed heat vision,he might cause problems. But I think eventually he would have to engage with Logan and that's where he dies. I got Logan in a war of attrition.
Can someone please explain the whole adamantium skeleton to me? Like... are his adamantium bones connected by (albeit strong) organic ligaments? Because it's either that, or the mofo is virtually immobile. And if the adamantium is just on his bones, you can "easily" disassemble him...

I always get a chuckle out of it when people think Homelander is on par with Superman, when he would barely qualify for the Justice League. He's about a B-tier in DC, and maybe an A-tier in Marvel. The whole Boys universe is pretty low-power compared to other settings.
i think this comes down to homelander just never taking the time to figure out HOW to fight an opponent (obvious reason, no tactic is any different if it's always a win in his universe). there is nothing stopping homelander from putting wolverine down for a moment with laser vison and then just launching him into space, his arrogance beats him here. I do agree tho that the claws would go right through him
It's debatable whether Wolverine's claws could injure Homelander. They fired a machine gun into Soldier Boy's mouth and Homelander is supposed to be just as tough. Either way whoever wins would know they'd been in a fight.
For Homelander, this is from the show only? In the comic, I seem to remember Homelander could "carry the plane," but all he would accomplish would be to rip the plane apart. It wasn't a strength issue. For Wolverine, it you are including everything. If you are including only live action Wolverine, it could be closer. Maybe. I agree with how it would go. Homelander rakes him down with heat vision, then underestimates him. Anyone else with those powers and even a little tactical thought would just fly out of his reach, burn his flesh from his bones, gather up the pieces and toss them into space to float around forever or onto the moon. Not really. Planes can glide even when their engines are off. Even if he couldn't hold the plane from the hull, he could have held it from the plane's wheels and guided it down.

Think of him like a bullet his strength would be an opposing force on the hill or equipment in such a small area that the stress would cause the metal to bend and break. Superman gets away with it because of the tactile telekinesis which homelander doesn't seem to have. It's the same reason the armored truck split around queen Maeve.
It's been shown a few times that he's not as strong when flying, mainly because he doesn't really create his own leverage. If you throw a bus at him when on ground it'll split around him, if you throw it when he's flying he'll fly with it

In fatal attraction after his metal was removed, it's confirmed that what we've been reading throughout the years is a weaker version of Wolverine. The Feral Wolverine with jagged claws is Wolverines true face which also means that his healing factor may be stronger since the metal was removed but none of that is actually confirmed but it's implied. Also, Wolverine wont come back if his head is removed from it's tendons. In a dreamscape, Dr. Doom took Logans head off very easily but it was all a dream but it's implied by the writer that is the case which means that Logan heavily relies on his Metal to tank assaults and without it and his Feral state, it's easy to put him down. Either way, Logan is taking the fight because Homeland has no prior knowledge to how powerful his metal is. If he spams the field at a distance and if the firm informs him on Logan, Homeland is winning easily if he does nothing stupid. Heat vision is pretty powerful compared to bullets and just flames. He can cook Wolverine to an extent he's unable to move while healing and then tear Logans head off. If Punisher can put Logan down with a two piece, Homelander has a shot.
Also Wolverine's joints and tendons are not laces with adamantium, this means that if simeone rips him in half his bottom half will regrow without adamantium and this is important because someone with superhuman speed and strength and flight like homelander can just instantaneous rip off Logan's head along with his spine.

Homelander may have the speed and power fsctor on his side, but he is also an egotistical show pony.
He COULD just rip Logan's limbs off, or throw him into orbit, or drop a building on him, etc.
But HL is a bruiser, not a strategic masterminded. He often lets people hit him because he is not worried it will dp anything.
He will toy with Logan, like he did with Maeve. The difference is that Logan has the weapons to mess him up, and unless we are giving HL knowledge of Logan's powers and arsenal, he will be caught off guard and turned into sushi.
I can only see Homelander beating wolverine in one of two ways and they’re both basically the same use all of his strength and speed right up front to grab Wolverine by the wrists and prevent him from popping the claws, then it would just be a matter of keeping him separated from oxygen either by trapping him at the bottom of the ocean or flinging him into space.

This gives him more opportunity to show his strengths off and more reasons to develop his skills. As an evil Superman homelander ought to be the stronger one, but there's nothing to push him or prove him within the setting of The Boys. So he comes up short. Just a massive goldfish in an undersized tank. 😅
There's a lot Homelander can do with his super-speed. Blink would be a good X-Man to take him on because if he uses his eye lasers, she can teleport the beam so that it hits him in the back like she did with Hyperion. Mimic would be a good choice especially if the other members of the Seven are watching as he gets the powers of nearby supes without requiring physical contact like Rogue. Selene (Black Queen) could possibly catch him unaware given her looks and drain his lifeforce. If it's a two man team against Homelander, then Leech and Thunderbird.

Now if Homelander tried to melee him, good old hand to hand, Homelander would be at a huge disadvantage. It's like Superman, if he used his brains in Sups vs Bats movie, he would have leveled the building with Bata in or on it. A very interesting subject to discuss as usual! Homelander may have specific powers that defeat Wolverine but Logan has something that Homelander could never hope to match: Actual Combat Experience.
The Wolverine has been alive for over two centuries, fighting dozens of wars across his lifetime. Sure, Homelander could pulverize him with the initial attacks but Logan's regenerative ability and combat experience allow him to avoid them and stay on top of Homelander whenever possible. As Homelander gloats on how much superior he is over the Wolverine, Logan will eventually find the chance to decapitate the arrogant bastard with his claws or tear his heart out with his adamantium claws.
Also, may I suggest more characters to pit against Homelander? The first character that I would recommend is Vilgax - the intergalactic warlord from Ben 10 universe. I've had a lot of free time lately so I've been catching up on the original Ben 10 series. Vilgax stands out for me as one of the BEST VILLAINS in my childhood simply because of how much of a menace and terror to Ben for me.
They both got temper tantrums.
We've seen other heroes take homelander's heat vision with zero damage when regular humans got carved up. Main difference between the Boys universe and marvel comics or films is that until recently, majority of marvel was pg13. The Boys went out of their way to be rated R to illustrate what would really happen if humans got powers.
If they made Superman more realistic, then he could carve people up too or even disintegrate them.
So, I wouldn't say Homelander's heat vision would be that effective in harming Wolverine. Any minor burns would, of course, heal quickly, too. Plus, he's adept at fighting Cyclops so he'd use his claws to deflect them as well.
Wolverine has a way better healing factor than Kimiko, and on top of that has the durability to endure anything Homelander throws at him. Homelander got injured by Maeve, Wolverine’s claws would cut through him like butter.

I get it, the whole hating Homelander train, but seriously, why do ppl do it so much for only him, like theres worse ppl like penguin, joker, harley quinn, scarecrow, reverse flash. But none of them gef hate when it comes to powerscaling, only homelander. And no im not a "homelander meat rider", I just dont get it, ppl complain when DeathBattle makes unfair battles, but then ppl love putting homelander in "unfair" battles, and as ive seen ppl say "we do it just to see him lose bc hes a crybaby😂😂", but like seriously, at a certain point it gets old just like the goku, superman, and saitama debates. Homelander is insanely strong and durable. You constantly "underestimate" him in many, many confrontations. He is a bad character so it seems to rest. Wolverine in many cases loses consciousness quite easily.
Wolverine also takes attacks that are quintillions of times better than what Homelander can dish out and his claws oneshot Homelander

To be fair, Homelander gave a pretty good and realistic reason as to why he couldn't stop the plane in that scene. It wasn't that he didn't have the strength, but he would rip through the hull if he tried. That being said, you are 100% correct. I said to myself before I started this vid that as soon as he got close to Logan, he'd get sliced into 100 fucking pierces lol.

Overstating Spider-Man is a bad of a problem as nerfing Spider-Man. I agree that Spider-Man is massively stronger, faster, etc than he is given credit for......but it is by no means true that "NOBODY CAN TOUCH HIM". That is simply a false statement.
Plus....any decent writing will include vulnerabilities as well as strengths. The Superman character needed kryptonite....otherwise the stories are boring and pointless.

All characters should have vulnerabilities otherwise the stories start to really suck. Its best to keep in mind...they are all fantasy characters and do not exist.

Back to Spider-Man......He would likely dodge 95% of Wolverine's slashes........but all it takes is one good one.
if Wolverine makes contact with Spider-Man's arm.....well, now he's missing an arm. Same for any other body part.
Spider-Man is not The Flash although he is absolutely faster than regular humans and I think much faster than Wolverine.....but that won't save him 100% of the time and Wolverine has stamina that might be as good as Spider-Mans stamina.
I wouldnt even say he's nerfed as much as he is always holding back the majority of his strength since he's one of a few heroes who genuinely never wants to hurt anyone.

@@chandie5298 Spiderman isn't the flash but he has some pretty insane speed feats. He can dodge bullets and lightning and he's swung using his webs at least the speed of sound before. Spiderman has insanely fast agility and reaction speeds and that's without his sense. His sense is what would make him borderline untouchable. Hell just look at Tom Holland's Spiderman in NWH. His sense was powerful enough to literally sense when Goblin took over Norman. If he can do that, then I don't know what attack Wolverine could possibly have that Spiderman wouldn't be able to dodge off of pure impulse. And a lot of people forget that his sense works impulsively. As in it reacts by itself. Which they actually show throughout all of the live action Spiderman movies since Raimi's first film. The fight would basically be a standstill. Wolverine would literally not be able to even remotely touch him. But Spiderman wouldn't be able to put him down either. But given Spiderman's strength feats, he could 100% restrain him or even knock him out. I don't even know if Wolverine could escape his webbing if he was trapped in it considering his webs usually have a greater tensile strength than steel. And the adamantium is the very thing preventing Wolverine from having greater strength than he normally would since it holds back his mutation.

Wolverines bones are adamantium, but his ligaments arent. He should be able to be pulled apart.
His ligaments need to be strong enough to help support his muscles and move the adamantium which bien sod ned a bit when you move them.
He can also very easily regenerate them. That isn’t doing anything.

Which I doubt. Logan is full of inconsistencies due to overwhelming plot armor.

Homelander has no real fighting experience not against real fighters like Logan he’d literally be torn apart cuz of the skill difference
However, the big reason Wolverine's been able to bounce back has been his healing factor. It's been capable of helping him recover from being reduced to a skeleton, getting bisected, and worse. So, Homelander could potentially beat Wolverine, but he'd have to go all-out from the start.
Homelander's strength is not tied to him being in the air vs on the ground. The reason that he could not catch a plane / subway train is because of the strength of those objects.
He even said it himself on the plane - he would just punch through the plane like it was made of paper. The small amount of metal hull that he would be able to physically touch would not be able to support the entire weight of the plane. Therefore, he would just punch a hole in it. You actually see the same issue in the scene that you showcased with Queen Maeve and the armored car. The armored car didn't crush her or send her flying, but she did split it right down the middle. Not because she wasn't strong enough to catch it, but because it was not solid enough to be caught.
It's actually one of the largest scientific inconsistencies with most strength based superhero feats.
It really depends on where he is holding the plane actually. If he held it by the landing gear where it is designed for greatest rigidity it might have worked.
His greatest weakness is probably the inability to swim. Just toss the guy above the ocean, really, if I was him I would not be a fan of planes.
Homelander wins easy. He will laser him. Wolverine will get up. Homelander will lazer him for a very very long time. Homelander will fly away thinking he won. If Logan hunts Homelander down again then homelander will do the same but then throw his body into space or have it collected for study by vaught.
Homelander doesn't really close if he doesn't have to. Seeing damage being done and seeing how it does effect logan....for a bit anyway, he will keep going.
He will close only when logan can't move or act, and that is only to taunt him. Homelanders reaction speed is such he can move faster then an explosion from a bomb.
So he can move between 1700m/s to 3000m/s.
What is logans top speed? 45mph is his top run speed. His fastest reaction time if 0.032. I think homelander wins hands down.
The issues with comic book characters is the writers just don't keep abilities cannon. They don't understand or remember oh yeah this is how that ability works. Alternatively they just change it cus its cool. For example Logan can't heal memories. If his brain takes damage that destroys brain matter, the damage he healed but the neural connection is not, thus he losses memories.
Him being nuked down to his skeleton looks cool but would result in him having no memories and him being a big human baby when he heals. Its not cool so its not done.
Same for old man Logan. Logan has perfect cellular regeneration. As such he can't age. He can only age if his mutant ability is shut down or suppressed and whatever aging happens is then irreversible. And any time spent with an absent or weakened mutant ability would also rapidly age him due to his cells having no telomeres.
This also cuts both ways. In only the few seasons they have been kicking around, the boys has shown the deep as being capable of surviving in the Mariana Trench. This means his body can take 8 tons of pressure per square inch......with no effects at all. In universe he is looked at as a joke but they also off offhandedly show him as a tank. Writers can't keep things together or just want a certain thing so disregard what is already shown.
If wolverine isn't killed the first time they tangle, Homelander won't see the second attack coming.

Thing with this video is it forgets that Soldier Boy managed to bruise Homelander and Maeve managed to make him bleed (something Butcher, Soldier Boy, and Hughie combined couldn't do)

Can someone please explain the whole adamantium skeleton to me? Like... are his adamantium bones connected by (albeit strong) organic ligaments? Because it's either that, or the mofo is virtually immobile. And if the adamantium is just on his bones, you can "easily" disassemble him...

I always get a chuckle out of it when people think Homelander is on par with Superman, when he would barely qualify for the Justice League.
He's about a B-tier in DC, and maybe an A-tier in Marvel. The whole Boys universe is pretty low-power compared to other settings.

When Wolverine gets shot even though he'll heal from it he still feels pain and that usually triggers his berserker rage.
i think this comes down to homelander just never taking the time to figure out HOW to fight an opponent (obvious reason, no tactic is any different if it's always a win in his universe). there is nothing stopping homelander from putting wolverine down for a moment with laser vison and then just launching him into space, his arrogance beats him here. I do agree tho that the claws would go right through him

It's debatable whether Wolverine's claws could injure Homelander. They fired a machine gun into Soldier Boy's mouth and Homelander is supposed to be just as tough. Either way whoever wins would know they'd been in a fight.

I agree with how it would go. Homelander rakes him down with heat vision, then underestimates him. Anyone else with those powers and even a little tactical thought would just fly out of his reach, burn his flesh from his bones, gather up the pieces and toss them into space to float around forever or onto the moon. Who cares if he survives it. Wolverine has no range if you're flying above his leap distance.
I hear a lot of people say homelander could melt ademantium, but only ademantium A can be melted, wolverine has ademantium B (which can't be melted)
