I’m going to say sorry, but Ultron is not going to defeat Megatron. You used IDW comics, yes? Then Megatron in the Alternity story arc says everything. Ultron’s most powerful form doesn’t even come close to Megatron’s most powerful form. Technopathy and hacking can’t work because Megatron is a) a living machine (not exactly a “computer system” to hack into) and b) Megatron in this state has Mind and Life Manipulation, which renders technopathy and invasion useless. Megatron just calculates when Ultron will make a mistake (which he can), and shoots him with his anti matter cannon. If Ultron makes another body, Megatron will simply destroy it. I disagree with this one. Remember , the lore used has punches thrown by Prime cracking the hardest known materials in the universe , Megatron in the lore used is stronger then Optimus prime or prime just holds back to much , point being , Optimus was the only one to be able to hang long enough with Megatron to let the other Transformers get away to fight another day. Again , Megatron was always the hunter. Optimus is just a better leader and works better with his allies to win . It's why I watched anything Transformers as a kid , it was different then most with the good guy not being the strongest , best leader but not strongest. 1v1 Megatron gets a bump and this is way closer.

It's interesting that I was just researching The Kardashev Scale. It scales civilization based on how much and how they use resources. I would say Transformers are at least a level 5-6 on the scale.
IDW I feel has the best fleshed out characters, and Megatron having so much character story, development, and evolution makes this version a great choice IMO
Narrator made HUGE mistake comparing Thor with Megatron. Thor has done crazy stunts but NOT Ultron. In fact, Ultron cannot defeat Thor one on one in his own comic. That is like saying the Absorbing man, or any Thor level villian, could defeat Megatron due to the villian hurting Thor and then examining Thor's insane power stunts. That is bad logic. Also, Ultron is NO where near as powerful as Galactus. That mistake tells me how much the Narrator is familiar with Marvel comics. Any transformer could steamroll large groups of humans. The avengers would be hard pressed defeating a unit of average decepticons. Bayverse movies make Transformers weak enough to be stopped by humans but Bayverse is crap. This probably influenced the narrator. Megatron is millions of years old from a planet in constant war. Hard to believe that a robot built by Hank Pym could be more of a threat than a sentient being like Megatron that can generate a black hole to fuel a antimatter weapon equipped on his body. They both have comparable speed ( cross the universe in seconds), comparable strength (both can easily move planets) and comparable durability ( both tank black holes). That's the Transformers/Decepticons biggest issue, their own technology can be used against them. In the end, they are machines and that's why Ultron would be so dangerous to all of them. They think they are living beings, but Ultron would prove them the hard reality as he would simply study them and mess up their tech and either hack them or find other ways of putting them down. A Transformer or Decepticon would only make Ultron more dangerous as such an encounter would give Ultron new knowledge and ideas and since they can hack into systems by simply touching the computers and stuff, Ultron could use things like that to their disadvantage and get access into their very souls. Ultron is also like Darkseid, because he can simply send out a body and stay alive somewhere else like Darkseid and his avatars.
I always loved how Ultra used to come back with a number 'I AM ULTRON 7' until someone pointed out he was the only villain you could tell exactly how many times he had been beaten.

You used IDW comics, yes? Then Megatron in the Alternity story arc says everything.
Ultron’s most powerful form doesn’t even come close to Megatron’s most powerful form.
Technopathy and hacking can’t work because Megatron is a) a living machine (not exactly a “computer system” to hack into) and b) Megatron in this state has Mind and Life Manipulation, which renders technopathy and invasion useless.
Megatron just calculates when Ultron will make a mistake (which he can), and shoots him with his anti matter cannon. If Ultron makes another body, Megatron will simply destroy it. Better yet, Megatron will destroy every last remnant of Ultron.

See now I saw this as a stomp one way or the other, with Ultron's way to victory being through hacking. If Megatron is immune to hacking, then Ultron is screwed. Now DanCo said that Ultron can actually hack organic beings, which I would argue that hacking a living machine should then be child's play, but if Megatron has another way of rendering technopathy useless, then once again, Ultron is screwed.

I disagree with this one. Remember , the lore used has punches thrown by Prime cracking the hardest known materials in the universe , Megatron in the lore used is stronger then Optimus prime or prime just holds back to much , point being , Optimus was the only one to be able to hang long enough with Megatron to let the other Transformers get away to fight another day. Again , Megatron was always the hunter. Optimus is just a better leader and works better with his allies to win . It's why I watched anything Transformers as a kid , it was different then most with the good guy not being the strongest , best leader but not strongest. 1v1 Megatron gets a bump and this is way closer.

Narrator made HUGE mistake comparing Thor with Megatron. Thor has done crazy stunts but NOT Ultron. In fact, Ultron cannot defeat Thor one on one in his own comic. That is like saying the Absorbing man, or any Thor level villian, could defeat Megatron due to the villian hurting Thor and then examining Thor's insane power stunts. That is bad logic. Also, Ultron is NO where near as powerful as Galactus. That mistake tells me how much the Narrator is familiar with Marvel comics.
Any transformer could steamroll large groups of humans. The avengers would be hard pressed defeating a unit of average decepticons. Bayverse movies make Transformers weak enough to be stopped by humans but Bayverse is crap. This probably influenced the narrator.
Megatron is millions of years old from a planet in constant war. Hard to believe that a robot built by Hank Pym could be more of a threat than a sentient being like Megatron that can generate a black hole to fuel a antimatter weapon equipped on his body.

They both have comparable speed ( cross the universe in seconds), comparable strength (both can easily move planets) and comparable durability ( both tank black holes). Thanos has his chair to counter omega beams, and is cursed to not see death, so he never truly dies. Darkseid can just call copies from other universes. I think that avatar vs no gauntlet thanos is closer than people say

That's the Transformers/Decepticons biggest issue, their own technology can be used against them. In the end, they are machines and that's why Ultron would be so dangerous to all of them. They think they are living beings, but Ultron would prove them the hard reality as he would simply study them and mess up their tech and either hack them or find other ways of putting them down. A Transformer or Decepticon would only make Ultron more dangerous as such an encounter would give Ultron new knowledge and ideas and since they can hack into systems by simply touching the computers and stuff, Ultron could use things like that to their disadvantage and get access into their very souls. Ultron is also like Darkseid, because he can simply send out a body and stay alive somewhere else like Darkseid and his avatars.
MCU Ultron looks like Megatron's son. Both hate humans or any organic life and view themselves as superior.
I always loved how Ultra used to come back with a number 'I AM ULTRON 7' until someone pointed out he was the only villain you could tell exactly how many times he had been beaten.
