I just started building on the most insane gaming table for Warhammer, dungeons and dragons and Mordheim i could think of. It's going to be a big project, take many months but i'm all here for it. Once the manta is done, this will Definitely be one of the main projects on the channel because i'm so excited for it!

I promise, there's many videos of the manta on the way, i've just been on vacation and we just got back to putting in the finishing touches on two of these videos! Be prepared in the coming few weeks for some sweet videos :D
I was starting to be afraid the Manta got broken beyond repair and that you were stuck at the first stage of grief and all those new projects were just a way to cope with the accident (don’t get me wrong, they are all cool but going from bi-weekly news on the Manta to none at all was worrying).
Anyway glad to see everything’s fine on your side and can’t wait to see the Manta diorama again😁
I paused my current project for a snack. Seeing you upload gives me just the motivation I need to get back at it👍🏻
Thats amazing! We cant wait to see the next videos! All your work definetely inspired me! And i bet many others :D
I can’t wait. And honestly I didn’t mind that there hasn’t been a manta video. Normally with big projects it’s good to take a break and with how big the manta project is, a break is needed at least once in a while.
Honestly I'm just as excited about this project as the manta one! I love the aesthetic you're going for.
Really hope you can bring this one back out! I'd love to see this thing come to life!
Emil, are we going to see any progress on this soon? This looks amazing
The colours look epic! About the table: I see many gaming tables which are quite geometric in set-up (e.g. squares), but many medieval cities are anything but that. Maybe angle the river through the table or have a curve in it, with some wonky streets. Maybe it's a nice idea, maybe it's not your thing. Good luck!
Boy oh boy am I a sucker for high detail gaming tables. Looking forward to seeing this journey!
Is there any plan to continue this series? I already love it so much, and inspired me to build a table
This is looking like an awesome project. When can we expect to see more?
I am still totally hyped about this project guys! I really hope you find the time to proceed :D
Would love to see more of this.
I already know this is going to turn out amazing, looking forward to seeing it all come together!
You made those buildings even more epic with that paint job Emil! Wonderful.
Already looking absolutely great. I love how vibrant the contrast is on the buildings.
Is there any more to this project? It looks so cool and I'm dying to see more!
It's going to look great but I feel a big river in the middle takes away gaming space in prime gaming real estate. I think a series of narrower canals on the periphery would have a great look and not place too much tactical importance on their bridges. Might make sewer play more difficult - unless you could lift up the ground level and play underneath? That would also be cool. Look forward to seeing more of it.
Venice gone Mordheim would be absolutely epic.
totally agree with you. Would rather like to see a townsquare taking up center stage or something. And smaller canals instead of a big river with bridges would improve esthetics and gameplay.
I need to see more of this! I am absolutely loving the big scale projects like the Manta and this gaming table!
Looking forward to seeing your progress on this table!
This looks great! The sources you’ve pulled inspiration from are absolutely my jam, and I’m super hyped to see how this works out! Plus you can always use it for D&D and have some epic city adventures :)
Amazing! Wish you would show how those houses were painted in more detail. A complete guide would be really great
Gorgeous paintwork.
if you want the clothes lines and other various ropes up but still want the table playable you could strap a magnet to one or both sides to be able to move them out of the way when needed
Great idea! why didnt i think of this?
Thursday's is laundry day in this city, so you know when to hang those clothes...
Awesome houses! And the idea to add bridges in between the houses and decks around of the houses is a great idea to get a cool multi level game event. But I wouldn't make a big open river area in the middle. You will always play on the one side or the other. Maybe adding a bridge full of houses like the Ponte vecchio could help to connect both sides creating an area you can really play on. And of course some light effects, and a krypta, and... :-)
And have a net work of jetty's and docks over the river too...
Yes! Would love to see more of this and gameplay once the table is done 🤘
Amazing start. Look forward to seeing the board come together.
Love the colours you've used on the buildings. Can't wait to see the rest of this series
Houses look great for a paintjob with so few step. Nice work refining that process and looking forward to where this build goes.
For your underground, how about some slide out drawers with their own open top sewer tunnel systems; Dungeon & Dragon style? Entrances and exits mirror what is above ground.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of this series. Thanks.
Sweet Mercy! What an awesome project! I can't wait to see more!
This sounds amazing. And Mordheim is one of my all time favorites. Can’t wait to see the evolution and grand reveal. I have always enjoyed your content. This is a perfect table build.
I love all the detail! I believe it does draw you into the story and makes it more emersive. I think you could almost double the play area by stacking tables so you had an underworld with sewers entering into a cave system/ dungeon that went all the way around. Can't wait to see more!
cant wait to see what you do with this series!
Dood I definately want to see more of this!!! what a cool table idea.
Super cool! Please keep making that table!
I've said it before, but I'll say it again. Get this man a Netflix series haha
This is so awesome in so many ways!! I'd watch an entire season on just this one project
Ambitious! I'm supremely jealous that you guys get to do this. Can't wait for the next vid.
Excellent travail ! Bravo à vous, on attends la suite. 👍
Love this build, can't wait to see more, I love the idea of sewers underneath and access points in the city!
Awsome project! Love your sick ideas :) waiting for some more
these models are STUNNING and your paintjob absolutely did them justice, cant wait to see more!!!!!!!!!
Man, this is one heck of a massive and impressive project, you guys and Neil/ Real Terrain Hobbies are really stepping up the game.
Oh boy! I love these big projects of yours 😍
I'm so looking forward to this build! It's gonna be epic! I'm also diving into mordheim and have been brainstorming ideas for a board.
Woah! Big awesome project here!! Can't wait to see more!
Love the paint jobs, I really like how you have pushed the contrast on the wood right up in patches. I will have to try that on some of my TTW buildings.
Awesome start to the series. Looking forward to how this series turns out. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
Just seeing the full out paint racks in the background is crazy! One day I'll assemble my own like that and endevour to make such a table. I hope you really bring it in this one! I'm excited to see where this goes!
I can't wait to see this project complete! Awesome idea
Oh man i love your energy, ideas and high quality of your videos.. always a joy to watch, even if a topic doesn‘t fit my interests directly.
Yes! Stoked on this, can't wait to see more!
I'm so here for this. can't wait to see more!!
Awesome... looking forward to this journey!
This is epic. I am excited to see this board evolve. I like all your ideas. Make every aspect as detailed and playable as possible. (if that's possible).
You should add tiny screw eyes (skruvögglor) here and there on the buildings as you finish them. Then you can use wire with bent hooks at the end to create ropes and bridges between houses - that look good and are easily removable but don’t fall off if you bump into the table.
Great project!
Awesome! We recently got some Tabletop World houses and were blown away by the details. Thanks for showing us a quick way to paint them that looks amazing!
So amazing idea guys! Cannot wait to see more!! Keep going!
This looks really cool. I look forward to the rest of it
Lovely stuff Emil and crew! 👏💜
Yes do more please. Looks amazing!
This is great! I'd love to see more of a follow-a-long step by step though of painting them so I can learn how to produce the same effect.
Yes! For all the Wyrdstone of Mordheim, YES! We need more of this content! I cannot wait to see this table built! It would be amazing to the sewers connect with manhole covers that connect to the street too, with sewer sections on both sides of the board!
I love gaming table builds like this! Those building look great, something about the green and the orange together makes them look so spooky
I love how they look. I like your ideas you are talking about with the water and the underground area. Very cool ideas.
Dear Emil, Fantastic idea! I looking forward to your future instalments. Best Wishes Johnny
This is amazing and inspirational, I hope to own a Table top gaming shop soon and this is exactly the content I need. As I will be making multiple themed battlemaps that can be used with multiple platforms like Warhammer, mordenheim even DnD encounters. Keep up the great work!
Amazing ideas & details. This will surely look incredible when complete - love the ‘oldy worldy’ theme for the houses & streets, & particularly love the idea of painting the windows orange. Great idea which gives such a cool effect….😎👌Will follow with great interest!
please continue with this I'm working on a ideas of my own and you inspire me literally every video thank you
I'm lucky to have couple of those houses and I may confirm that they're really amazing! Parts are full of details and fit each other perfectly! On this gaming table they'll look ideally!
Awesome work. Bringing the Vibe of the City :)
I really love the paint scheme on the houses!! As always great job.
Those building are just so cool and your paint job on them really do them Justus.
Imagine a whole city like this... cannot wait to see more!
So cool! Can’t wait to see this finished!
You are just crazy !!! This project is incredible… I want more !!!
Super hyped for this project!
Yes I want to see this build! Please do a series similar to the manta!
Awsome I want to see more I've been slowly working on a table over the years hopefully I can learn something from you guys
Yes, if you make more videos for this series - I will watch. Multiple times... Keep up the awesome work.
Outstanding work as ever. Can’t wait to see your journey through the creative process. 😊👍😊
This looks so good! Great job lads.
I already know I am going to love this series!
So good! Can't wait to see this develop into a series. I loved Westmarch too, so it's awesome your table is based off that (and other influences). I love the idea of having the sewers underneath the table edges. Like you said, it might be harder to play on, but the immersion factor is just oozing and that's the best part. I think people would happily play a little more difficultly when they hit the sewer and you open it up and show the sewer fully kitted out with clutter.
As far as ideas, my ideas are just for city clutter, really. Like in Westmarch, I'd have some eerie streetlights with oil lanterns on them, and candles to mix it up here and there on top of objects. A lantern atop some barrels by the dock would be cool, so that you get a slight reflection in the canal (and you could have something creepy swimming there, just barely lit by the light, too), and other small details like the grass between cobblestones which you mentioned already. Some wet effects would be good for lower street cobble stones since they're closer to the dock and exposed to more moisture, and it just adds to the creepiness.
Seriously, this is exciting as I'm a massive fan of details and immersion, so I can't wait to see this play out. Makes me want to make a table again.
yoo this is awesome! cant wait to see the finished board!
All that sweet terrain, deserves a finished board boys :)
This should be job #1. Amazing project idea.
Yes let's see the building of this city!!
Love it! Want to see more!!! I have a few ideas to make my newest table have a "lower layer"... This is inspiring! :D
Oh man this Heroes III reference really got me! Super excited for the Board, love it!
love the idea, looking forward to the next episodes
i've spent many many many hours on those Westmarch streets =)
This is awsome! Keep this topic!
looks great so far! I can't wait to see more! Random idea for adding sewers but keeping it playable. A big sink hole where the city collapsed into the sewers. Then it would be sewer terrain down there, but still open top so you could reach the minis to move them around, and there is a story to how you got there and why its open that fits the theme.
A really cool sewer you could do is an L shape, from the side that connects to the river. And remove the top section of foam, then put either a hinge or clip system on it so you can remove the top of the sewer when playing and moving the minis, but then reset it for the atmosphere when they are being used. That way you can still use the top of that sewer as a ground for the area above.
Oh boy, this looks awesome!!
Oh look, its my new favourite video series. Can't wait to see more of this build!
God damn, this is amazing.... cant wait to see the entire city!
Fantastic idea!
Yes, mer av detta :) grymt projekt!
This is going to be a huge undertaking and the houses you already made look great.
Those houses look great, excited to see the board develop in future videos
They look amazing. Good work
