I really love the mobile version, but its just limited arena version, the enemies allways run away too quickly, and the game tries to overbalance your characters. so much as a single sniper rifle on some low level dude and youre up against a fleet of armored dwarves or a vampire

Tuomas Pirinen has been in awe that people still play this classic game. He's active in the roleplaying scene in Finland, so one might run into him in events here. He loaned the original cover art painting to the Finnish Museum of Games at some point. It just floored me, because I didn't expect that when visiting.

Mordheim is a perfect example of a system that has been taken over by the community in the best way. IMO, wargaming is best when the hobby and the community are at the forefront and the terrain and warbands show this off in SPADES! My god, so much gorgeous stuff. I would love to dabble in this level of wargaming, but games like these aren't SUPER popular. Even Kill Team and Warcry haven't taken off. We have a few Frostgrave players and I might just have to dip into that more, but this video is an absolute treat to see either way. Keep it up, can't wait to see what you make with terrain!

For those looking for some cheap Empire-esque minis in plastic, check out Wargames Atlantic. They've got a lot of cool plastic kits, but the relevant ones are their Conquistadors kit (which have head options for more continental forces) and the Landsknecht Ogres kit (which can also be built as 40K Ogryn). Both kits have a variety of weapon and head options, to cover multiple different roles and aesthetics. You won't get the kind of individualized flavor of the old metal Mordheim models, but they work well enough and can be kitbashed further or supplemented with character models taken from other manufacturers.

Fun video! With the old world coming back & the big following of Necromunda, GW should bring the printed material back with a new guide on kitbashing or proxy the GW minis. Also I love how some people sent their minis to be in the event.

That looked like a lot of fun and those tables and miniatures are out of this world. I loved the aesthetic of Mordheim . My Mordheim table had a lot of waterways and ruins . Take Venice and smash it up . I could never get over that you underlings were not individuals but small groups. I never liked that at all.
I would love to see something like this for Necromunda.

I got so much nostalgia watching this. My mates and I LOVED Mordheim back in high school. We just had the cardboard terrain from the box set. We would play after school all the time and had so much fun. Why is this game not getting a revival like Necromunda did in 2017?
