Of course the framerate will stutter when you have a rocket made up of 100 solid-boosters all firing at once.
It's a ps4 it should be able to play it without dyiung.

Just as a heads-up, the slowdowns are an issue with the PC version as well, for the exact same reasons. It's already known to be the result of the game having to calculate physics for each part.
I love how IGN only cares about graphics if they dont have many point on the negative side. Its just filler for the conclusion.
At least they're not complaining about there being too much empty space. :P

Well.. i started playing intensly when it was at 0.18, tried some launches in 0.13 (if i remember correctly it's been over 4 years you know...)

I'd give it a 3/10, why you may ask, because i've got this game for my playstation, and the game crashes WAY to much and at this time it's been out for a YEAR, and I've also had my data corrupted multiple times in places where crashes and corruption should not occur for a game that has been out for a year. hell the game ran better on my laptop. and my laptop only has 2.2 GHz of a 2 core cpu, no gpu. and 4GB of ram. now of course with bigger rockets playstation ran better. but it only crashed once for a reasonable reason, which was making a 300 pieces of rocket hell. which well with no gpu 4GB of ram, and a CPU of the power of 2.2 GHz is well what you would expect. on my computer i ran it at lowest settings, which did give my computer an advantage. if i were making KSP PS4 I would allow people to customize the game settings, so you can have lower settings which would allow you to make bigger ships, or idk. of course there would be a limit, which is RAM but still, having people to change the graphical settings, would probably decrease crashing, and corruption because well better fps, and more CPU, GPU, and RAM would be open (because like on the moon at really low settings there are less rocks) so with less used power and ram, it would also make crashing and corruption less because it would allow more of this power to be used for other things being loaded. although, most crashing occurs when loading even small rockets. I don't think that this game is crashing because of not enough power, but low optimized. (this is the most F***ING biggest reply I have ever made)
Which goes to show how trash these gaming magazines are. The console version is so badly done that its been removed from the ps4 and xbox stores.
That con of blah graphics is going to get annihilated in the second game.
And console players are just talking about the "Blah graphics"
I've spent hours on this game on PC, so damn fun. And the mods are great.
I wish that people would stop complaining about the graphics and the price. Anyone who has put at least 5 hours into the game can understand that its indefinitely re-playable unlike other games. The physics are what makes this game amazing and it takes a lot of processing power to achieve it. If they increased the graphical quality nothing would be able to run it.

This showed up on the PlayStation Store recently, so we bought it. Well, for a beginner the controls are extremely complex on the PS4 controller. Because we didn't receive any printed doc on how the controls work, this is the first time I've seen a layout of the buttons and what they do. This review is the first time I've seen this KSPedia help/manual/thing and I am not sure how to get into Help, but will take a look knowing it is there (somewhere).
is this available on the European store? I haven't seen it

you know what, i always wanted to love this game but every time i played i didnt understand it and tired to make stuff but failed...
It's not that hard,just watch some Scott Manley Videos and Play the Career and you will be an expert
Watch a UA-cam video they have step by step videos of you. I just followed what other people was making until I got comfortable creating my own version.

This can't possibly be that demanding of a game. Some games I'd worry with the PS4'S limits, but they should be able to clear up the frame rate drops without much trouble.
Trust me it is a very hard game to run it is very RAM and CPU intensive

+Blank Stairs this game has known to bring i7's and Xeons to their knees. It is EXTREMELY CPU demanding
It's all the physics calculations that slow the game down. Happens on PC too.

of course your going to get framerate drop when you slap 100 rockets together. On PC when things get laggy or the framerate drops its because of multiple objects clipping through one another. Its usually a good indication that your creation is going to explode in a glorious fireball! Or maybe thats just because your on a console i dont know.

Lol "bad graphics" I don't think it's possible for any pc to have a gigantic sandbox with multiple planets to be very detailed, so I don't think it's possible in the ps4

is it a good idea to buy this game on a ps4 or should i just buy the pc version. reason why i am uncertain is because i preordered Nomansky already so thats also a space game.
I'd say get it on the PC for you get a hold of a lot of cool modes for it. but I think the console one will be a pretty good stand in.

KSP is a cool game but it needs a graphical makeover and performance optimization.
it's recently gotten a peformance overhaul (on pc at least) so with a great cpu only the biggest spaceships will cause framedrops :)
