Choosing to land at Eve’s North Pole made a lot of this mission far more complicated than it ought to be. But there is a massive spike-mountain-cliff there. So it was worth it!
This spike mountain makes video even cooler! Montage and frames compositions are good. So this short movie is better when everything i can watch in cinema now. Great job!
It. Is. Impressive. Even. Without. All. Of. That. Like, really. It is crazyyyyyy, overall. Keep working so, this video killed me and dwarfed my skills w
I thought i recognized that peak from a few years ago. I was trying to get a rover to that peak and plant a flag, but game physics really act funny around it and it was suicide. called it quits about 30-50km from that edge. Awesome video. Every one of your crafts looked amazing, I'm good but not that good ;-)
Personally, this whole thing is the most impressive thing in this game... the hidden solar panels and boosters on the SSTO, the awesome aesthetic of it all, and the transforming jetski: let alone the flag!
That unfolding sequence. It was beautiful. Like something out of a sci-fi cartoon. Bits and bobs popping out of nowhere. Just constantly “but wait, there’s more!” Absolutely stunning.
6 years of content, never keeping the number of uploads high but the quality impeccable throughout each and every single year. 15 minutes of highly edited stuff which quite obviously took a lot of time to take the shots and do the mission in the fist place. Beautiful.
clean edits in the intro so smoothly showing what's inside the ship, combine that with timing it to the music and you've absolutely nailed an amazing video's start. thank you for putting in the effort, it's so worth it; this was amazing.
This is one of the most sexy missions I've evver seen. The SSTO looks gorgeous. The Eve EDL is insanely good looking, and rightfully takes a full 2 minutes. The base assembly had my eyes constantly widening in surprise. And the cinematography was the cherry on top
imo the biggest flex was being able to capture into kerbin's orbit before reentering and not just aerobraking and doing drifts and 360's while flying at mach a lot through the atmosphere of kerbin. The Eve deployment scene was pure eye candy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hazard-ish, Stratzenblitz and Bradley Whistance all putting out videos within just days of each other? Truly a blessed week this has been. Excellent work from all of you guys and for continuing to push the boundaries and knowhow of this game far beyond what was thought possible.
You added orbital maneuvering engines, just so you could enter Eve's atmosphere during sunset... this is the attention to cinematics that makes a Hazard-ish video. You come for the cool spaceships, you stay for the panoramic shots.
The crew ran out of supplies and oxygen around 200 times during this 8.5-year long mission, but the frontiers were nonetheless pushed to the extent never reached before... Just kidding, your recent projects are the most incredible and majestic works of art I've seen in my life. I've lost count of how many times I rewatched this video. Try and hear my applause from here :D Cheers, and don't stop amazing us more and more with your next projects :)
every single time the craft unfurled a bit more, i got more confused as to how you packaged everything so tightly and so securely while still having it all look incredibly good
Everyone is talking about that base unfolding sequence (which is indeed awesome), but the thing I loved was that fly-by at 1:04! The noise really completed it!

Fantastic job Hazard-ish, you make all us casual players very jealous with your awesome skills. I feel like there isn't a challenge I could set that you couldn't conquer!
You’re hands down the greatest KSP player who will ever have lived. Been watching (and rewatching) your videos for years and each one is just mesmerizing.
Can I just say, seeing an SSTO blast it's way into orbit, then to eve, then to drop off a base (which is just about the most awesome unfolding sequence I think I've ever seen) all to heart-pumping synths and rock is just about the best thing I've seen in the past month, you absolutely nailed this
Im an RSS/RO player, I really like your SSTO design, I'll try to build an RSS/RO SSTO using your design as inspiration. Jawdropping! I would be very interested in your old vs new pc specs! Since Ksp killed my old pc too...
Video had me at the marvelous base deployment, then your upper-atmo "overdrift" into the "d-dimension" sold me. Liked, subbed and now eating up your catalog.
Magnificent. Not only works a charm, but a beautiful craft as well. Serious Thunderbirds vibes from that thing, looks like the Fireflash (and then you added the space music for full effect!)
I stumbled across this absolute jewel of a video again, what a marvel. Fantastic music too! I’m going to add this to my favorites because the sheer positivity of every little touch can likely inspire me again in the future. Thanks for putting so much time into it, especially that unfolding masterpiece.
You sir have gone absolutely mad, this has to have taken ages to make. By far the coolest thing I've ever seen done in stock KSP! Keep up the great videos.

I am aware that this comes a bit late but this is just legendary! pulling this off with such a great design, flying, style and editing - a memento for current and future kerbonauts of KSP 2 and beyond to behold!
I’ll return! I have several unfinished projects that I can resume work on in the next few months. But since October I’ve been studying for a Master’s degree so have had zero time for UA-cam
That’s very kind, thank you! I feel like I dragged out the Eve descent for too long, but it was needed to get the rest of the base deployment to synchronise with the music. I hope to keep to a similar standard in future videos!
This is an insanely cool design! It's incredible that you can make it work. Also, the take off was amazing, flying really fast at 2 meters above sea level. Insane.
