Guys I have iphone 13 pro and before that I had xs max. Believe me guys, the only difference I felt in these 2 phones were camera. No doubt wide angle lense add grace to it and the design as well but its not very necessary to upgrade from xs max to the latest one. Atleast wait for one more year for iphone 15 or 16. xs is a very good device
I don't really like the ultrawide lense. It makes the main object smaller.
Camera battery life weight screen processor and a lot more
some ppl upgrading for merely the purpose>> better camera

Xs camera is soo bad with low light
I’m rocking my XS max still. I got it in 2018 and it’s been kicking it ever since. The only issues I have had is that my speakers have become increasingly quite over the years, and my battery is terrible. Max charge is only 54%! Last night I dropped it and now it has a green line straight down the center :( I figured this was my sign, and once I saw I had a free upgrade available I went ahead and ordered the 14 Pro.
All I’m saying, is if you are still rocking a XS and it’s still working right then you really don’t have any need to upgrade. It’s been a great phone.

i just think that the xs max still has a great ability to shoot great photos and videos that are just as good as the flagship one, like you can hardly tell the difference from each other from the person's perspective, even though it lacks features like the night mode, cinematic mode, and the ability to shoot in ultra-wide and 3x telephoto mode that come from the iphone 13 pro max. i do have one and it still rocks

I am very disappointed with Apple being an Apple fan. Since there launch of x series till date they haven’t done anything major upgrades or improvised anything from design perspective. I have seen many video comparison of x to 13 pro max cameras. All they have done is mange’s to increase the list of extra hardware feature on paper. But the difference in photos can hardly be seen. Especially the the portrait mode is shitty than other low prices phones.

Nah, the 12 pro performs way better in low light. In daylight, yeah this difference isn’t that much, but it’s still there. I have both too.

Cant believe Apple's cameras were such trash in 2018, couldn't take any photos in dark situations. Samsung Galaxy had way better photos
Not really. I had the xs max in late 2018 yet my sister an s9+ at the time (the s series phone of 2018) and its camera was worse than the xs. The images looked very washed out (skin colors looked pale, and different landscape features like the sky looked white) and everything looked overly smoothened out. And this is while using the default camera app, with all the trash beauty mode gimmicks turned off.
