Just so you guys know, when cropping on the iPhone 11, it takes multiple photos on each lens so you can change it at a certain time.

I hope Apple can make the slow motion resolution better. 1080p, no it looks more upscaled from a lower resolution like they said, 360p. Disappointing.

Great comparison video as always! Had the iPhone 11 Pro on launch and love it - The camera is a great improvement. My only gripe is the ultra wide always seems a bit muggy even if I'm in good light and the subject is up close. I'll be sticking with the Moment 18mm on the wide camera because I did some some tests by holding the lens to the phone ( as still as possible) and results were tasty! New case pre-ordered along with new lens ;-)

I upgraded. Noticeable real life camera improvement, but mostly upgraded for the better battery life.
Every other parts of the phone feels better. Speedwise, around the same i guess, probably because the ios 13 is not yet optimised with the iphone 11 pro and there are some glitches here and there.

The new camera may be great but honestly not a big difference, the night mode is something new and ultra wide are the only things that makes a difference. The night modes seems a little buggy so they might fix it on the upcoming phones.

Great as always fellas! I think I am going to stick with my iPhone Xs because I use your Moment wide and tele lenses when shooting my short flicks and love them. I am going to get your anamorphic lens next! Also, I am very interested to see if they improved the Pixel 4 video camera and I am sure the photos are going to trump all phones. We'll see!

Wait, you’re a mobile lens company and you didn’t do a wide angle test??? You couldn’t pop on a wide angle lens on the Max to see how it measures up?

Love what you were saying about the native app feature for long exposure shots but you should mention that to your dev/ product team for your moment app, I’ve since replace the native app with the Moment app. Just a suggestion great videos as always

Did you use the standard iOS camera app for each phone? Or did you use a third party app (like your Moment Pro app) that can provide more manual control? Because if you are using the standard camera app. Then the exposure setting will not be consistent across devices. Even if they are physically side by side.
That lens flare is a good thing to know about! For the most part these cameras seem like phenomenal pocket cams, but I guess still have their own limitations!

Pretty sure Apple could bring night mode to earlier iphones. Its just a software to make the shutter open longer.

IMO, the only huge difference was with the time-lapse and night mode, which probably could be adapted in 3rd party apps for the XS, like you guys mentioned. I don't think it's worth the upgrade from the XS to the 11 Pro, but could you guys do a test with the X and the 11 Pro? I think that would probably show a larger difference. I have an X, but I'm not going to upgrade any time soon, unless next year's phone shows a major difference.

My iPhone XS Max was worth more than what my contract had left so I traded the phone in and got £600+ and my contract had £533 left I ended up getting the iPhone 11 pro max and £76 back and now I only pay £5 extra a month for this new phone so it was worth that extra £5 plus I now get unlimited data instead of 50gb a month
I used iphone 10 xs max since 2019 and I really love it until now. Taking vedio and pictures is good, my friends always said to me taking pictures of Xs max is really good ☺️

Quick question...i have the XsMax...and I’ve noticed my phone lack in functionality of its predecessor at first...but...after 6 months to 12 months later...with a iOS update/upgrade...my XsMax gains those features completely...or...becomes very improved in the features that are simular...have you guys noticed the same thing?...

Hi, I'm actually thinking of buying an iPhone SX Max coz its a bit cheaper now, good thing I saw your video and I should definitely skip the XS Max and maybe wait for the 11s/12? Anyways may I just suggest, try the Supcase UBpro for your 11 pro, I'm using it for my a50s and its really nice 🙂

Wow, great video guys...easily the best video I have seen comparing the differences between the 11 Pro Max & XS Max...or any iPhone model comparison review for that matter! Personally, I just upgraded to the iPhone XS Max (here in the Edmonton, Alberta, Canada area) on July 29th. I thot about waiting for the new iPhones to come out, but the problem is that Apple discontinues the larger sized storage on previous iPhones as soon as the new models are available (or sooner), so I had to decide if I wanted to take the chance & wait, or just get an iPhone XS Max 256GB while I still could. I now won't settle for anything less than 256GB, which is what my XS Max is & the 7+ I had b4 was. Since I m in a new contract for the XS Max ($1,770 Cdn), it's too late to switch to the 11 Pro Max, & so far, I m VERY happy with the results from my XS Max. I also recently found out that the app 'NeuralCam' will do the "Night Mode" on older iPhones, including my XS Max, what the Apple included app does on the iPhone 11 models...& the Black Eye Pro G4 lenses (Pro Cinema (wide), Pro Fisheye & Pro Portrait) are as good as the Moment lenses or better, & are clip-ons, so they will get me the same lens results as the new iPhone 11 multi-cameras will, but w/o the lens flare. You guys should check out the Black Eye lenses, especially the Pro G4 lenses & even do a review on them...using the same extensive, but fun testing you did here. Again, great job on the video, WOW! I just subscribed btw.
