My guess on the excavator arms on the new war rig is that they are for shooters to sit in the buckets and and be swung around, raised and lowered to fight off aggressors.
Ummm that sounds really dumb...
If people were going on them they'd have seats...
@@edwardfletcher7790 or the sears arent built yet? Remember that the rig is still in early construction.
@@edwardfletcher7790 Ummm The buckets would protect them from return fire....
@@RealMr_Wonderful Sounds like you should be a screenwriter.... LOL
@@edwardfletcher7790 Maybe I am. ......
Hearing that we're gonna see Gastown and The Bullet Farm as well as multiple vehicles from Fury Road returning is definitely enough to get excited about.
I hope we see the Gigahorse
Im just now learning about this movie and even hearing about it makes me pumped as heck!!
We’re gonna see the bullet farm?! that’s cool
hell yea brother been waiting for a longtime for this one!! :)
i have a buddy in sydney who saw a truck carrying 2 bikes that look like they spent the stone age underwater, the rust on them was beyond crazy, and then there were some tribal decorations on it, along with a chasis of some kind of car, also rusted, then when he told me, i instantly knew
I can confirm that
Yes! When we needed him the most,Mad Max Bible returns to reignite the glorious V8's. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication! Hype is real
V8!
I really, really hope they could keep the release date of 24th May, 2024. That would be my 60th birthday 🤣 🤣 🤣. I've lived with the Mad Max series since the high school days, that release would be the best birthday present ever.
And my son's 20th, he as i did also grew up with these movies
@@randomguy2518 hey me too! Dang, what a time to be alive, I want to watch it so bad!
Looks like they did. Enjoy! And happy birthday
Just watched it last night so. Yeah lol
Just came back to say happy birthday!
I hope they will make another mad max game, I really enjoyed last one even it was not perfect
Yeah I've been hoping like hell for another
If they do, they need to study a game called Crossout for car customization, cause its better at it
I just started it again after some years and it’s really cool 😎, also hope for a part 2
@@randomguy2518As someone who loves both games 100% agreed
I got to be an extra the other day. I'm under contract to not give any information but i can tell you there will be an awesome holden fj ute (i got to sit in it) lots of bmw bikes and a chariot bike. I had to shave my head and sit in the cold all day half naked. It was the best form of torture you could ever experience.
A chariot bike? You mean like in 1930's Australian chariot motorbike racing? (two bikes pulling a chariot type?).
Yeah but it was three motorbikes. I think the middle one was fake but the 2 side ones are real and the 2 engines start up separately. It looks awesome
Chariot bike!? That is absolutely wicked, I first learned about those things a few weeks ago and thought they should be in a Mad Max film.
Also, congratulations on getting to be in the movie. As a long time Mad Max fan since seeing the first one as a teenager I must say I am quite jealous.
@@Full_Otto_Bismarck yeah all my mates are pretty jealous. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and i had the best time. I am glad to be a part of it
@@MadMaxBible have you got an email address i can contact you on?
I love the look of the rig in this film. It looks like the missing link between something in Road Warrior and Fury Road.
It looks like they took a regular 90s era semi and gave it Oshkosh tires
A year later I've seen it in action and it was beautiful
I was just playing the Mad Max game today for the first time in a long while then I see this, that's quite the coincidence. Thankyou for the detailed update, your like the Sherlock Holmes investigator when it comes to Mad Max
That game is a hidden gem! So many hidden details for a keen eye to spot.
I was in Silverton during filming of Mad Max 2. It was a one horse town with a Pub and a Post Office, in fact the Horse walked into the Pub and had a Beer. There's nothing but desolate Outback out there, which is why Miller likes the location for his post apocalyptic world. Also they built the cars for MM2 and MM3 locally not far from where I live. And one of the young kids in MM3 lived in my house for a while.
Hey my grandma had a 67 Cougar and it was blue with the white top. She kept that thing so clean. She was so proud she bought it in cash she saved herself from her work at Lockheed Martin in 68' and was a single mom. boy times have changed!!
revved up to see Gas Town & the Bullet Farm. Hope this movie can jumpstart some spinoff projects. The world of Mad Max is just too good, I wanna spend more time in it
Dude I literally found you like two days ago, saw great films looked at release dates and despite not uploading in a while I decided to subscribe. You have no idea what a treat it was to find this video
Good to have you back
I 'm praying for a Bruce Spence or/ and Vernon Wells cameo!
Especially since they are filming in Broken Hills again, perfect opportunity to give long time fans a Road Warrior reference, or even one from the original Mad Max.
my son is working on this movie. I love hearing the various insights, then hearing from him what is happening in various aspects, and comparing what people think and what is actually happening on set. No images or further info as it would mean his job, and he is loving the experience, a once in a lifetime opportunity, I cant wait until it comes out. lots of easter eggs in this film.
The bucket attachment could be used to grab cars and throw under the vehicle or Rip out about their engines.
Haha! Engine harvesting on the go
@@SanctuaryLife Oh yeah you need an engine and there's somebody next to you harvest them.
Pretty ballsy of them to make it chrome. Its really hard for the VFX/editing team to work with reflections
This is how I find out There is gonna be a new film heck yes this is my favourite universe
The chrome war rig has gastown vibes all over it
I cannot wait for this film. Thanks for the update!
good to have you back
For good this time I hope!
The vehicles I would love to see again in this movie would the "Main Force Patrol cars they were chasing the Nightrider in the opening scene from Mad Max, 1979".
The M.F.P cars, Yellow, Red, White, and Blue. The last time I seen those vehicles, were in the Mad Max Comic when Roop, Charlie and Sarse were beating up scavengers and People Eater escape. I would LOVE to see those vehicles again and what they are now after society collapse. Either a bad guy's car, a scavenger's car or stripped for parts.
It would make an AWESOME Easter egg!!!
I had no idea all this info was out there, I've totally missed it all! Thanks for the video and getting me up to date, I'll have to start look out for details. Cheers!
Your detective work is scary good
Thanks! You wouldn't believe how much stuff I found watching Fury Road frame by frame. They really did pack that movie with tiny details, I'll make a video about it one day!
Nice to see you back, I have missed these videos!
Really appreciate how deep you dig for information. Great work.
My pleasure!
Normally I hate spoilers, but I subbed this channel long ago for updates and something to get excited for. So far so good 👍
Great video man. Big Mad Max and post apocalyptic movie fan, I didn't know any of this was already happening, great to see we are getting more. I'd love to get some character designs in a Mad Max movie one day haha. Keep up the great work
Thanks for another great video! I can't wait for this.
Great video! I reckon those excavator buckets are primarily to dig/pull itself out when it gets stuck. Remember when war rig gets stuck in Fury Road in the swamp....
Thanks for the update!
Always love these videos!
i waited for this for soo long thank youu
Thanks for the updates, appreciate it
MMB is back, baby! For all your wasteland needs and news. Good to see you, love this First Look!
Lots of details to hold me over till your next update. Thank you!
I'm so happy to have clicked the bell, thank you for your video
Also, great editing
rarely a reason to go the cinemas anymore, but I shall be there for George and Mad Max. Probably the only time in 2024.
WOW AWESOME, A NEW MAD MAX MOVIE, YES THIS NEEDS TO BE ALL CAPS! lol
So cool. Hopefully we get to see a little bit more of the MFP in the early days of the apocalypse.
I think this movie takes place after Thunderdome and before Fury Road so any organized law enforcement is long gone. Heck, it was gone before Road Warrior.
@@kevinpeterson1398 Fury Road was a soft reboot, it's not the same universe because the Interceptor was written off in the Road Warrior - and no, I'm not counting the comics as canon. It's absolutely ludicrous to suggest that Max recovered that wreck, squirreled it away and restored it.
It's a different universe, just accept it for what it is.
@@madgeordierob7890 The whole Mad Max story is mostly myth after the first movie. Max is just a name to a figure. He is the main charicter in a story told by people all over the wasteland. He's the Knight ib shining armor as it were. Road Warrior is told by the Feral Kid as he grew up and all the other subsequent movies were told by different witnesses of his story. That's why it changes every movie. The only theme that remain constant is Max's MFP origin. His car could be a symbol. Something he prized for himself but could never hold on to.
Thanks Mad Max Bible for the update! I am sure we wont have to wait another year before your next upload! Looks like production is starting to heat up!
Thanks for the updates, can't wait for this movie to be released!
Fantastic detail as always thank you.
Thx for the news, ;)
Super cool
Looking forward to seeing this
😎👍 thanks for the info!
Love the video good Sir I do. And we will wait for the next instalment .
Man I like Your content so much, thanks a lot, always shiny and chrome!
HELL YEA, it’s been 7 years
Thanks!
Welcome back!
thanks for making this video while we are waiting for official updates :D
So so pumped for this. A little deterred by the Chrome War Rig, but I'm hoping that's it in its brand new phase, and it gets shitted up as the years go by.
It's also a little disappointing that Charlise Theron won't be returning at all - I'm sure they could have put her in as older Furiosa
Seriously though, so pumped. Also annoyed that we have to wait at least 2 years for it to come out 😂
Its not as chrome as you think, I've seen it up close. It looks really cool I'll say that
@@bigbambam25 glad to hear it. Did you happen to get any photos?
@@khuhruzhsvethmeorv8318 unfortunately not, I didn't think to take any. Seen alot of the props up and down the highways here in my truck. Alot of the fury road stuff was here before the filming and seen that too.
@@bigbambam25 lucky. Well, if you happen to get any, come back here and I'll give you my socials 😂
@@khuhruzhsvethmeorv8318 I'll put them on my channel, I don't have any social media 👍🏽 I'll let you know here
Nice update thanks.
great video as always.
My heart started pumping when I saw this video on my feed. I need this movie faster! I think I will play the game again just to tickle the urge a bit. Damn I love that universe and feel the gasoline fumes of that sandy, dirty, brutal world.
That's a great game, I play through every couple years.
glad ur back reporting on this!!!
Ford F100 "tyre medic" is also back !! 😊
Good to see they are making it in Aussie again
Awesome!
The legend is back!!
The last mad max movie. Is one of my all time favorite films ever. I'm so excited for this.
Nothing beat following the production of Fury Road for 17 years. I remember the earliest leaked images I saw (around 98) were of a couple of vehicles (a rig and a car) that were made to look a bit like dog heads - at the time the badguys were called WarDOGS instead of Warboys.
I haven't followed this film as much, but I'm catching up now.
Holy shit! Looking forward to it! Wish they do an actual Max movie once day. Much obliged!
⭐️I just watched this movie and I can’t wait to hear all the folklore you can dig up about this saga. These movies have tremendous production value and cinematography. They’re very epic and entertaining…👍
So nice to see you back, man!
That Rig looks sick,
Fantastic and here I thought my little video of the filming locations was all that was out there. The digger arms on the war rig are weird, can’t wait to see how they are used. The pole on the tanker might be for stunt rigging but yeah I agree it will be to transition from the tanker to the rig. They had casting calls locally but we’re looking specifically for men under a certain weight to look like wastelanders. If your over 80kgs your living too well in the desert lol
Waaaaaah!!!! Yes yes yes yes!!!! Can't wait to see it
The rig's freakin' beautiful!
Could it be the that this new war rig is the same as the in fury road but modified like what max did to the v8 between the 1st one and road warrior?
Many ways to use excavator arms in my opinion. Anything from self recovery if stuck digging defensive positions lifting things in and out of war rig to ripping other rigs apart is possible
I'm from the future. Can confirmed, Furiosa used those arms to bring down some paragliding enemies.
I wonder if the horse has something to do with joe's respirator
The red tank I s for the hydrologic pump. It will have to behind the cab. Run of PTO. It's required to run the two arms.
Thanks! It seems like the guy who gave me info about it was about as clueless as I was.
@MadMaxBible I understand. It just so happens I work with heavy equipment and trucks.
David Cullins makes me think of the gyro captain
Now I am a little bit hyped ... because I didn't know that this movie is coming untill now :D
Oh boy oh boy!
Im glad the Gigahorse is coming back, its one of my favorite Mad Max cars
man that Kenny is Shiney! so excited!
Allot of weight and any amount of sand doesn’t usually mix so I think the excavator arms a there to dig out the war rig if it gets stuck. Even replace the buckets with a machine guns to cover the rear
God bless! Please make another great Mad Max Movie!
Looks amazing I can't wait to see it! 2024 though?? That's 9 freaking years since Fury Road. George Miller... Brother, your 77 and not getting any younger! At this rate it will be 2035 when Fury Road 3 comes out and you will be 90 years old!
Thank you so excited for another Mad Max Movie. I still play the game to this day. I wonder if we’ll ever get a second game. If we do I hope its made in Unreal Engine
I would like to see a Mad Max game using the soft body damage physics from BeamNG. Cars tearing to pieces of shredded metal all done in game engine physics rather than pre made 3d damage models.
With the physics of BeamNG you could even recreate the crashes from the first chase scene in the original Mad Max like when one of the MFP cars crashed *through* a camper trailer.
the stuff on the tanker reminds me of the last scene in MadMax 3 Thunderdome.
I was fine with Furiosa as the Main character in Furry Road but idk about a movie the Mad Max universe without Max at all....hope its good?
Great video, MMB!
I think the excavator arms are for bashing other vehicles.
Also, I think the accidental reveals aren't accidental, but that doesn't make them bad - it's just part of the fun. They're like advance Easter eggs that the creators planted for the fans.
Most likely use for the buckets is to pile up dirt/sand or dig themselves out of a rut. Also, they can use them to push into the ground to raise up off the ground if need be. They could also be used to push objects like other cars away from them. Given that there are no controls there I am guessing the rig itself has the controls as that area on the rig is very exposed.
I can imagine the buckets coming out and lifting up and tossing and smacking away pursuit vehicles. The pole idea makes sense seeing that open expance between cab and tanker. It might turn sideways as well and act like the pole cats did.
The shielding on the front of the cattle guard cat walk should have slanted vent like military vehicles to allow air flow through the radiator.
Putting all that extension on the rigs front I bet also is for the crankshaft driven PTO for the hydraulic s of the backhoe booms .
Dam, my picture is there in the crew picts
My guess for the arms is that they'll be used to push other vehicles over on their side while driving by simply just putting the bucket in a open door (as in fury road they had a lot of vehicles without doors) or just a window or like in the fury road movie, grab onto them and rip parts off them/anchor onto them so they cant just drive away.
nice job
When I heard this was happening I was gunna have a spaz attack cause the mad Max franchise cannot be topped
I think the reason they announced the date is because they already have the entire production roadmap laid out and they know exactly how long it will take to edit after shooting has concluded.
It would be Super cool if David Collins was playing the Gyro Captain. Love to see him again.
The UpsideDownShow was my kids favorite show! They will be old enough to watch this movie when it comes out!
Woot Woot!
Very glad to wake up to this video
