  • I do various cosmetic improvements in this video. My dad and I go off roading to test the Four Wheel Drive. Update on dying the seatbelts.

Hi Adam, to fix your zipper issues, you should use a pair of needle nose pliers and gently squeeze the trailing edge of the zipper. This should be top to bottom to flatten the exit. Start slowly in increments testing it each time until the teeth mesh. Hopefully this helps you out.
Good luck, and keep up the great videos!

Hey, thanks. I tried that a while back but not exactly how you said. I'll give it a try exactly how you just said. I have a new top for it I'm just hoping all the zippers work on it because 2 of them don't work on the current top. Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching!

I’m glad your steering is better, nothing like a free fix! Gonna start a go fund me page to help bail you out of jail for no seat belt & no registration tickets lol

Lol. I don't think that'll be necessary because today I was able to get insurance through Hagerty. Tomorrow I should be able to go to the MVD and get it registered without having to do emissions. I'm so relieved. Thanks for trying to bail me out though!

Hello again, I saw you and your father riding off-road and your concern about the paintwork and the branches, well I don't know if it's a very functional protection, I've never tested it but the owners I saw doing it said yes, Protect the sides of the car with plastic film like the one we use in the kitchen to wrap food, 2 or 3 layers. I don't know if anyone has tried it? By the way, the Samurai is looking beautiful, congratulations.

Thank you!, that would be funny if someone saran wrapped their car to take it off roading. I mean it's a 4x4 so it'll get scratched up, I just didn't want to until I was totally done fixing her up. It will be interesting to test how well the wrap holds up to scratches. Lots of people use clear PPF, it's paint protection film. It's like a clear wrap only thicker. My jeep is full of scratches. I used to spend a day every year or 2 buffing out all the scratches after several hunting trips but I haven't had time lately.

I have two trees in my driveway that drops those green things n it fell on my samurai then it rained, they get so nasty when they get wet 🤢 it stained my paint. I have a white samurai had to buff the stains out 🤬 can’t wait to cut them down!
As for the top get a smittybilt you won’t regret it trust me. I bought a no name from Amazon I had the same issues not fitting right and broke the zippers off day 1 threw it out.

Dang, at least you were able to buff it out. I have a 2nd top brand new in the box but I'm sure it'll have the same issues I'm already dealing with cuz it's a cheap pos lol.

For rock climbing ropes you don't want to expose it to water for too long as it could harm the rope and cause fatal accidents. Not sure if the same applies to seat belts, I would think so.

Lol, if you click on the blue 19:53 it was the rabbit so I was confused then realizes you were talking about the anal litics... lol. I was just telling my dad yesterday that you can click on the time if it's blue and it'll take you there in the video. He thought it was pretty cool. Yeah man I guess you're the only one in your country watching my channel lol.

Right, I didn't think about that lol. I did add salt and vinegar so maybe that'll deodorize it.
