To my knowledge, the offshoot build isn't necessary anymore and it can be played on the mainline build just fine@@muslimmetalman
Pretty impressive I can't lie. Alder Laken is a very slept on CPU generation. So good
It's amazing how far the rpcs3 devs have come with this game. We still need an official port by Konami tho, because even this way of playing the game renders it unbeatable without a ps3 controller (screaming mantis boss fight).
You can beat mantis using the doll and R1+ triangle and shaking left stick
Konami can't port it over due to the way the game was made it's technically not possible they could how ever make their own inhouse built PS3 emulator and have the game run that way
@@saintpepsi8602 It's not exactly 'technically not possible' then? The reason they never ported it is that they don't care about the franchise beyond wanting to shit on Kojima and his dev team's hard work with slot machines.
@@georgejpg To be fair, neither the PS4 or Switch has pressure sensitive buttons. Though, I'm sure they can find someway to circumvent it on PC.

Great video and runs pretty good, btw, what controller are you using? Im planning to play MGS4 on my PC but I remember it needs the Dualshock 3 for the analog button input, or its posible with Dualshock 4 or other controllers that have digital button input?

I plan on buying a Powerful PC just to play this game with the Benefits that RPCS3 gives. Such as faster load times, FPS and higher Resolutions (And i also plan to play other PS3 Games so yeah. and i plan to sell my PS3 once i do since i already ripped the games)

I wish this game got a port / remaster. Because i do not like the Framerate on a real PS3. even though i was able to finish it no problem on there

i have a question, is there any option to load all the modules before playing? i mean, my game crash when new modules appear in the current area of the game and then when i open it again it start loading those modules so it doesnt crash in the same spot but soon after. Thats my only issue, i tried a lot of things but i assume my problem is the module load. Idk if i need a save game to load or something that let me load all the modules before hand, there is no video that explains that, only the settings which i already tried a lot of things but non of them solve the module load problem
Using the main build from the official website . There's an option to preload shaders. It takes 1 hour

Its more reliant on your CPU due to translating the CELL instructions to X86 code. it’s complicated and thats why is requires a powerful CPU

That's a bad opinion. I got into the series in 2001. I watched my brother play the first game in the 90s but was to young for it. Played 1,2,3 then portable ops. Parents didn't have the money for ps3 so peaced out at the perfect time. I came back after 5. 4 was the last game I played, I did understand the decisions it made at the time without the context of peace walker and 5 was really out of the blue but given I played those games before I seen the end of the series I thought it was perfect end to the story. If I'd played it at the time I don't know what I'd have thought. I played it in 2020 and was well aware it was the last time in my life I'd play a metal gear solid game by kojima for the first time so it was incredibly special to me and I think he fucking nailed it man. 3 is the best but I like 4 the most, really happy with how the story ended. Still crazy to me that the story has an end.
But your opinion is matter of perspective. I'd put more than 1000 hours into these games before I was even 10 so I was about as hard-core into it as is possible to be and if I can like it it obviously isn't a bad that "never should have been made" it gives perfect closure
L comment, 4 and 5 are still both great games despite their flaws.
