8 x TUCKTEC Folding Kayak = Serious FUN!

- 8 Tucktec Folding Kayak owners met up to kayak north of Hong Kong very close to China and it was serious fun! It has been a long time since we did such a gathering and it was so great to see familiar faces and it's amazing how our friendship all started because of the Tucktec Folding Kayak.
We took a ferry to our destination but still kayaked approximately 14-15kms but the weather made it very difficult as the temperature soared with very little wind. Fortunately we snorkelled several times to cool ourselves down.

Just got my tucktek, so excited
Congrats!!! Make sure you practice some folds at home! Hope you have many adventures!
@@Fishaholicboy thanks... always looking forward to watching your adventures
very cool caves!
Was fun looking for the caves… there’s so large caves that I want to explore soon too
Thanks for your videos! I just bought a Tucktec and am really looking forward to having my own kayak! I'm curious about which motor your friend has. I had no idea that was a thing, it could come in handy on those paddles where I tire out before the way back! Thanks again for the awesome info, and happy paddling out there 🛶
Haha...now I need a kayak motor...Love the caves, beach and comradery...what a great day 🙂✌
Ha! Definitely need a motor for the long trips. Was tempted to ask to be pulled along 😂
I want that Tucktec :)
It’s a great kayak to have for convenience.. but you already have a gorgeous kayak :)
hello, can you share more about that motor, manufacturer, model #? where one can buy it?
Great video, they took off with that motor!
Thanks Riley! Haha yeah they did.. though the battery only lasted an hour. Still better than nothing!
Nice video! Wonderful places to explore! Thanks!
Thanks Hong! It would be great if we could kayak together here in Hong Kong!
@@Fishaholicboy Looking forward to that, probably will not happen in the near future due to Covid restrictions to travel.
I want that motor.
Haha yeah it definitely helps when you’re tired or for short trips
Wow Amazing💕 So cool🌼 Have a nice day♪✨
Thank you! You too!
That looked like a blast. Those tucktec boats pack a lot of fun into such a small size. Excellent.
The best thing of the Tucktec kayaks is the size.. great for storage.
Hi and thanks, Fishaholicboy for sharing. Wow, that's very cool to paddle into sea caves. I wish I were there to kayak. May I ask if you went on kayaking at low tide or high tide? Great view through your lens@5:02. What? did those precious little fish attack humans@5:54??? That is a new style of snorkeling gear🤣🤣@6:35??? I liked the footage from different angles. For my curiosity, did you mount your cams, on the front and the rear or just solo 360 degrees cam? BTW, your kayak buddy used an electric motor, right? I think I may have seen a boater using it, so they can fish in the restricted area. It's very nice to see you in the water again. Well done. 🙋♀🙋♀🛶🛶
We went at a rising tide and left at low tide since it was a whole day trip. haha yeah those little fish attacked all of us lol. I usually mount the 360 at the stern and the GoPro at the bow.
These look fantastic fun 😍
The Tucktecs are definitely convenient and a whole a lot of fun too! Best in calmer waters though :)
Looks like a really cool paddle! :)
It was so much fun!
I missed ur fishing vdo so much, man🤭
I hv recently bought a tucktec for lure fishing, mainly soft bait😏
Haha I haven’t had much luck with fishing lately so no videos 😅 soft hairs are very productive in HK! I’m sure you’ll get to less crowded spots with the Tucktec and catch some monsters!
nice place ,look like near by last week we been there..!
Ahh.. it’s a beautiful area and I love it even more as it’s so quiet and peaceful
It's like a tropical paradise. I was wondering about the water temp just as you mentioned it. Our lake when it's a 114 to 120 is like bath water, not very refreshing in less you dive down a few feet. But with 10% humidity, when you get out with wet clothes you're freezing for a few minutes. Great video.
It was exactly the same.. had to go deeper to feel refreshed 😂 but for us, it was still really hot when we got out of the water. I felt like I needed a swim every 10 minutes!
They look so fun mate. The caves were quality ! Your bird's-eye shots over the beaches always make me want to book a flight haha. The little fish were cool also. A great vid as always 🙌
You should visit when HK doesn’t have quarantine anymore and you can also visit South East Asia. Funny enough.. my closest friends here are from the UK!
Any idea where people are renting their kayaks from near Crescent Island?
Hi Leslie, I believe XTE Kayaks is the kayak rental around that area but I am not entirely sure. Their website is here: xtekayak.com/home
@@Fishaholicboy that’s perfect, thanks man!
@@LeslieT223 welcome! My friend just told me they did a tour with them and it was great! You can also do rental too :)
Better than Phuket…or krabi ..
Interesting to install a motor at kayak.
That motor was awesome although it only lasted an hour. The area we went to was north of HK.. quite isolated!
@gochrome it’s at Crescent island.. Dropped pin

I saw some boats dropping people off there too
