Great content; a full semester of film school in 5 minutes.
Glad it was helpful, Pat.
I was racking my brain on how I could have a student watch a 30min video from one of my favorite UA-camrs, and still be able to set up an interview in 50min. I'll just have them watch this twice and go to work. Thanks for not wasting time on talking about what expensive equipment you're using that we can't afford. Solid video!!!
Oh hell yeah, Nate. Where do you teach, man?
I have no idea how or why I got here but this is one of the best short tutorials I've seen in a long time. I'm planning on doing the same tutorial forever now but I don't know how I feel about it now that I've seen yours :D
Wow, that's very high praise. I really appreciate that. This is my first tutorial, but I was planning on doing more. I see that you have quite a bit of following--I'd be happy to connect and chat anytime
David Daniel Pierce oh yes for sure. Just hit me up on Instagram. ✌🏼Same name
This is the shortest, sweetest tutorial ever. Love it☑️
Walking in. Wanted to refresh. Was the perfect video to do so. Still enough time to comment an watch it again! Great job!

Great video. 4 years late but have some adjacent work coming that requires me to do a 2 cam interview setup and im not a photographer so this is epic value. thx homey
Straight to the point with lots of killer information that takes years of trail and error. Well done man! 🤘
I really appreciate that, man.
Searched shooting a two camera interview. Watched 3 videos. This is the best one. Thanks.
Cool. Glad it was helpful.
Great video, with tons of info - exactly what I was looking for. And thanks for not padding the video to be 17 minutes long by restating every point five times (why does everybody do that, does it feed the algorithm?). You covered it all in five minutes, awesome job!
Ha. Yeah, they want the view time so it helps their channel. If I do any more of these I won't do that shit. Thanks, brother.
This is gold. So much good info lined up and presented really clearly. Love it.
Dude, thanks for saying so. You're the man.
This is so good. Short, sweet, organized with a perfect mix of humor to keep the viewer interested. You have a new subscriber.
yo thanks. I can never stand when I'm trying to learn and then I'm getting blasted with buying someone's online course. Thanks for the sub, I plan on doing consistent videos at some point.
Great job! Easy to understand, just clear and simple information. I should’ve watched this before my first interview job..
I'm glad you enjoyed it, man. Hopefully you're up to speed now, and if ya ever got any questions, just hit me up.
David thanks! and I seriously wish you could get more likes for this tutorial, it's great quality and EASY to understand, not long, not short just perfect timing! Thanks. Last thing I didn't know anything about this but now you've helped me a lot.
Dang, Jorge. Big appreciation for that. I don't really care how many likes the video gets, but I'm glad you found it helpful, man.
This is the thing what I was looking for.
All the necessary information and very good examples Organized in one place. Not an in depth video, but filled with all the necessary info.
Good job mate 😀
Glad to hear it, mate 😁
This video is so helpful. I was starting to feel a little overwhelmed with the interview I'm shooting and this made it feel very doable! Thanks!
Haney, it is not easy--a lot to consider. But hell yeah it's doable. I hope that interview went well for you.
Excellent tutorial, and you went over important details as well. That was short and sweet, thank you so much!
Thanks, Amanda. Yeah, it kills me watching tutorials that just don't get right to it. If I do more, I won't be plugging ads or some LUT pack haha
superb! easy to understand, clear examples, straight to the point! bravo!
Thanks, Pertti :)
straight to the point and you explained everything really well, awesome. THANKS
I'm happy that you found this helpful, man.
I was dreaming for this type of content "straight out of the box"
Thanks. I recommend Studio Binder for much better stuff that covers all the basics
Awesome video bro! This is exactly what new cinematographer/videographer/content creators need!!! This is "GOLD" man! Keep it coming!!! A ton of information in such a short time. I know that I'll be revisiting this video again and again. Can't wait for the next one! #TimeToLevelUp 👊
You're an absolute inspiration, brother.
This is an unbelievably useful video! It's like finding that niche forum post that outlines all the essential info, whereas all the other official resources are pages long and never get to the point!
Really appreciate that comment and it's specificity. I had a quick look at your channel; you're getting the flickering lights in the gen z response video because of the quality of the lights. You can fix in the future by lowing your shutter slightly.
I like the way you present information. Thanks for being clear!
I appreciate that. Thanks for comment.
Hit the nail on the head
Appreciate it.
Absolutely excellent with non of the fluf!
Thanks. Yeah, tutorials should be mostly about info in my opinion.
Fantastic video my friend! Finally, somebody said it plainly! You just earned yourself a new subscriber. Thank you
Happy it was helpful, Scott
Awesome video, short and sweet. Whish I found that video earlier. Took me a couple of months and dozens of videos to learn that stuff.
Just wish this video was around for me 6-8 years ago. So well done :)
You and me both, brother.
Dude, this was awesome. The comedy, the tips, the examples. Great video!
Tanner, my good brother, big thanks on the kinds words. Really cool of you to connect on insta.
“Press record” amen to that brother! Great video thanks for putting it together!
Yep, of course. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
I stumbled upon this video and have zero interest in production but man, this was so well put together, concise and straight to the point. I sat through the whole thing and learned something new! Will be subscribing lol
Damn. That's wild. Feel free to reach out if you ever want to dive deeper into production. Thanks for the sub.
One of the best tutorials on the subject I've seen. All details and no-nonsense approach + funny jokes. Keep it up :D.
Thanks. I aim to continue, brother.
Super Straight-forward tips. Thanks for sharing them !

The best tutorial I've seen in two years of learning, thanks bro, kia kaha (stay strong) from New Zealand
I really appreciate you reaching out, Derrin. And thanks for kind words. I'm a huge rugby fan, I played when I was younger, and I've seen guys perform the haka. It was amazing. But I do root for England haha
This video is FN awesome. Thank you so much.
You're FN awesome, Micah.
Step 5 is the money maker!!
It sure is, brother. It sure is.

My man, I really appreciate the high praise. If you ever want to linkup offline--definitely reach out.
Wtf, all this for free? You are an amazing person.
You are an amazing person for saying so. I have intentions on doing more, but I just never seem to get around to it.
This is awesome!!! Would love to see another video like this from you explaining a corporate video with two people in the scene! (The interviewer and guest)
Thanks for the suggestion, Adrienne. I essentially did this video to show a client how to get youtube traffic with no subs. But I may pick up doing these again. And the best way to do that is 3 camera angles: a wide of both subjects with their hips facing camera. Plus a single of each subject, shadow side, with the leading space in the direction of the other subject. Feel free to reach out on social or email if you wanna chat about it further.
Love this
Thanks. Love you
Great info here, this tutorial is really well-done, all around. Thank you.
