Loved every minute of this season. Sidney Rice was an absolute monster.
This team was loaded🔥 What an awesome season
I love Peterson, GOAT at RB. But that dude cost us a ton of games. Several very, very important games. 09 NFCC, 09@ bears in OT if we would’ve won we would’ve had home field. ‘15 fumble in wildcard game in 4th qtr. dam it’s so frustrating
AD will always be my favorite player but damn he fumbled at some of the worst time's
Motherfucker rushed for 3tds in that game or we wouldn’t have had a chance. Just about had as many rushing yards as brees had passing if I’m not mistaken.
@@zogood3495 His fumbling early in his career was so eye-popping levels of maddening. Many were as simple as not tucking the ball inward or protecting the football in potential pileup moments. Monster back, could go the distance and split any D it seemed on a dime. But definitely hurt as much as he helped.
Man Adrian’s fumble at 4:19 really pissed me off. That was an ungodly run by him. Hate that he didn’t get to finish it and will never be on his highlight reel.
Hell yeah. If he hadn't fumble that would definitely make his top 10 runs off all time.
Totally forgot Stafford was a rookie this year. I could have sworn he had already been with the Lions for three years or more at this point 😅
Watching back these highlight films from this magical season brings back awesome memories and reminds me of four things:
1.) Our defensive line was something to be feared. Unbelievable pass rush.
2.) Favre to Rice was the best duo the Vikes had since Cunningham to Moss.
3.) Peterson was a stud. Too bad he was prone to putting the ball on the turf during clutch moments though. :(
4.) Our offensive line had its struggles during the almost perfect season.
AP for sure fumbled at the WORST times in games...
Sidney Rice was so awesome in 2009.
1 yr wonder but man that was his yr
I remember being so frustrated that he missed the first half of 2010, thinking that maybe things would be going differently if he were healthy...
Brett Farve one of the true football legends
For us to have this team and not win was nuts
This team was so special. Favre made our team so good. It's too bad we couldn't have had a home game against the Saints. I think we would've smoked the Colts.
The fix was in for the AINTS!
They should've beaten the Bears in that second to last game of the season. They would've gained home field advantage throughout the playoffs with just a win. Plus the Saints lost that day against Tampa too. Bears fans and the Chicago media acted like they won the Superbowl by beating the Vikings smh. I know I live in Illinois lol. They had a garbage season but acted like this game mattered 😂. They didn't go anywhere that season.
Lol Ray Edwards at 6:15
I don't like the call. He was blocked and that's why he launched that way.
It was kinda fucked
It was awesome to watch but Stafford got whammed
I'm speechless on that Sidney Rice catch man..
I was @ this game and man was it awesome.
The Vikings must have had 1,000 yards in the first half and only 10 points.
This team was stacked besides the secondary Winfield I guess but that was it
Cedric Griffin was good too
8:02 How’s this block on a lineman by Berrian?
i hate that AP fumbled on that big run but the fact that it REGULARLY took that many people to get him down is insane it’s own right. grew up watching him and it has made it so hard to be impressed by today’s RB’s - passing league or not.
Dam I forgot how massive our d line was. Ray edwards, Allen, Williams wall…sheesh. Big bois
Yeah people remember Allen and argue he should be in the Hall and likely will eventually be, but Williams was the foundation piece for a time there that they built the D around. You hated running against that dude, and the fact he could push the pocket was impressive.
God bless Brett Favre, on that year he and the team would've reached the Super Bowl. And the only thing I like about the Vikings is their defense; especially Jared Allen, too.
Really Miss #4! Score should've been way higher than it was
I love Favre!
Rice was unrecoverable in 09.
Rewatching this game it's really cringe to see Peterson Fumble a lot
Let me tell you, Peterson is no Moss
I was thinking the same thing, one of the best RBs of all time but omg did he fumble in the worst situations
Damn, that crowd was PISSED when the Lions scored a TD. Hmmm. I’ll bet it has something to do with that controversial penalty that denied the Vikings a turnover on that drive.
But no matter. The Vikings dominated that game. The score really should have been something like 44-3.
that wasn't helmet to helmet. Edwards put his helmet into Stafford's shoulder. any helmet contact was incidental
TheTjoconnor yeah, when I heard “roughing the passer” I went “OH BULLSHIT”
Prime AP was something special.
Complete domination but sloppy turnovers was really a harbinger of things to come
7:50 que buen bloqueo y limpio..
Great year of Vikings football with a bad ending, and then my girlfriend of 4 years dumped me the week after. Turns out she's been cheating on me for the last couple of months. 😭
Should have won super bowl that year.. So close!.. But God blessed the Saints!
I wonder how many carrer sacks the Vikings have against Stafford. JC it seems like he always gets whooped when the Lions play in Minnesota.
2012 alone he was knocked down at least 10 times in the 2 games
Week 9, 2018, Stafford was sacked 10 times in that game alone
damn u didnt see how edwards jump to get the qb
Even in 2009 Stafford got sacked
A.P=PrimeTime All Day..
Was just wondering if you have clips of a non legendary Vikings team, like a game from a season were we weren't a powerhouse and didn't have super stars. I just want to see who played and did the work on the field after Chuck foreman but before Cris carter, kinda seems like it's a forgotten age in our team history
The time period between Foreman and Carter was 1980-1989. I have done highlights of a game from '87, and a couple from '88. Nothing else though. I can comb through and try to find something. Keep in mind I usually avoid those years since ;
1) The video quality is usually very poor.
2) The lack of on screen graphics (score, down&dist) makes the game harder to follow. (esp. when condensed into a 10 min clip)
3) There just aren't that many games available. Since a lot of the '80s Vikes teams weren't great, many of the full games I have are losses, and no one wants to sit through that.
I will keep your comment in mind however and try to do some older games!
I appreciate it, I can imagine how getting enough footage for a condensed game that old could be a hassle. Keep making the good content though
A video on Vikings vs Chargers 2007?
Can you upload some more games with the big boss Randy Moss?
Noted! Maybe something from 1998 is due.
@@funkydunkleman yes! If you have the Jacksonville game that would be awesome.
@@jbsmg That Jacksonville game was awesome.
@@polsdofer I was there. It was amazing!
@@jbsmg You lucky man get to see Moss actually play. I saw him and Daunte in training camp so that's the next best thing haha.
AP was fun to watch but he only cared about personal records
