@@redwings0142Absolutely. I’ve got nothing against Peyton Manning but the Associated Press loved handing him MVPs during years where there was someone more deserving. They did it in 2008 as well. Kurt Warner absolutely deserved the MVP that season. I know the Cardinals went 9-7 in 2008 but they still won their division (something the Colts didn’t do in 2008) and that Arizona team would’ve been awful without him. In 2008, Warner had more passing yards, completions, threw more touchdowns, had a higher quarterback rating and a better completion percentage than Peyton. While Manning went one and done in the playoffs for the second consecutive year, Kurt took a Cardinal’s team that wasn’t as stacked with talent as the Colts and led them all the way to the Super Bowl. But because Peyton was the NFL’s golden boy who could do no wrong, they handed him the MVP.
Say what you want about Brett Favre but the one thing you can never say about Favre is that he never got you the ball. Greatest Gunslinger I’ve ever seen in my lifetime 🙏
Mathew Stafford the closest to today's Terminator T - 1000 Brett Farve. - Was privileged to watch #4. So fun to watch and worth the price of admission regardless of #4 factions.
As much as I enjoyed that season (I was 17 years old by the way) I don't think I'll live this one down NFC Championship game @NO. I'm 31 now but I felt that was our year. The Colts had nothing on the 12-4 Vikings. If sports betting wasn't legal I can almost guarantee that after a thorough investigation Sean Peyton wouldn't have just gotten suspended for a whole season. The New Orleans Saints' NFC Championship title would have been stripped and the Vikings would be representing the NFC in the Super Bowl
I'm from Louisiana and grew up in Mississippi. My uncle lived in kiln ms where Brett Favre was from and I think that that interception in the championship game was on purpose to send the Saints to the Superbowl
@@nebulae87 Yes it was rigged not only 4 years later, but the refs completely controlled this narrative to put NO in the super bowl. Watch the whole game and the lights will come on. The NFL is the WWE!

Great videos!! If it's all possible, please put together a 98-99 Randall Cunningham video and a 99-00 Kurt Warner video. Thank you for what you're doing ... Vikings fan, so appreciate the Culpepper, George & Favre vids thus far! #Skol
If he would’ve ran for at least 6 yards we had that shit Ryan longwell was a clutch kicker. Our team was so much better than the colts all around maybe the WRs for the colts but that’s it are team had it all and farve did his thing 😢
This 2009 team was so fun to watch on both sides of the ball.
Dude had a rocket arm, might be the most entertaining thrower of the football to watch
2009 was a legendary time to be a Vikings fan
Brett was a straight up outlaw
He played like an MVP this year. Could've won his 4th.
Should’ve won it!
@@rossfranklin2782 Nah, Drew Brees should've won MVP in 2009, but both he and Favre deserved it over Manning imo.

right on brother!!!!!!
Well, that’s what a lot of defensive backs used to say. 🤪🤪
This was the year we ahould have won it all. That championship game vs Saints still kills me .
Roger Goodell had this game fixed!
I wish the Vikings could do more play action passes like Favre was doing
I wonder how hard farve throws those passes because my stomach hurts just looking at it
60 mph.
That was such a fun year.
Should've ended with a SB win. Still stings. I really think they would've beaten the Colts
Thank the refs for screwing that game up!
bountygate ruined that

They should have won a Superbowl
I swear they could've but fumbling the ball in the nfc championship game three times was ridiculous
@@ForFun-kc3in Might have been 6 fumbles with 3 of them lost. 2 in the red zone too.
Brett gained 7 yards rushing…for the entire season.
What a great season, though!!!
Funny. He would gained 7 yards to send the Vikings to the Super Bowl but he decided to chuck it to Tracy porter instead
@@joshpluard6409 Yeah, that’s funny. Let me ponder that.
I almost want to think his arm strength is the best ever, perhaps even better than Mahomes. Couldn't imagine catching a bullet pass from him

Yep. Was rigged for saints to win after Katrina.
