Excellent rev iew. I bought two of these and they work great. Just no way to control the brightness on both at the same time using keyboard shortcuts. Have adjust each one separately as far as I know. I thought the brightness would sync on both.

I wrestled with that decision for almost a year before I bought a Studio Display. I haven't regretted it for a second, and it's without a doubt the best tech purchase I've made in the last few years. I also convinced many of my colleagues and friends to buy one, and they now all share my satisfaction.
Would your work workflow benefit from ProMotion?
I'm a software engineer, so it's not important for my workflow. I don't miss it, but it would be nice to have.
Great review! Here in Singapore, we've got the 5K 27" Samsung Viewfinity S9 going for as low as $1,598 during flash sales. If we account Apple's matte nano texture coating & tilt-height adjustable stand extras, the price gap is more than $1,600! It'll be great if Samsung could loan you a unit to review and compare. These 2 are the only true 5K 27" monitors to purchase brand new today!

LG is honestly good enough. But Apple’s studio display is one of a kind (reasons mentioned in the video) !

@@thesuperstar4470 oh for me - i found that Apple's color accuracy is way better than the LG Monitor (which I talked about in this video)
