FILM DESCRIPTION:
Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan) never knew his famous father, boxing champion Apollo Creed, who died before Adonis was born. However, boxing is in his blood, so he seeks out Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) and asks the retired champ to be his trainer. Rocky sees much of Apollo in Adonis, and agrees to mentor him, even as he battles an opponent deadlier than any in the ring. With Rocky's help, Adonis soon gets a title shot, but whether he has the true heart of a fighter remains to be seen.

Running after chickens aye Rock. Definitely something that was part of your boxing training with Mickey. Mickey was a wonderful coach and his death well it hit Rocky hard because he was without a training coach until Apollo Creed Adonis's late father took Rocky on and started training him. But not for a split second that Rocky ever forgot Mickey. He was the best boxing training coach in the boxing business.

Survivor was used when Rocky was training for a match against a boxing champion. This is Adonis learning the bare basics, so of course it's not going to be as majestic.

Besides, the OG Rocky theme comes up in the last fight. It's a great moment. It's pretty much saying he had to EARN the good music.
