...Anurag Kashyap is a true film maker who speak straight from his heart....
You look like him
i like this person so much.... his movies do not make 100 crore on box office still he has continued making brilliant movies and kept my faith in hindi movies alive....
No smoking was one the only kind of movie made in Bollywood having multiple interpretations. obviously people were unable to understand at that time
+Harwinder Singh that movie was ahead of time ...that time poeple didn't like movies which made them to think....
wasn't expecting it to be so MIND-BLOWING!!
No Smoking was way ahead of its time. It's a cult classic.
Honestly I was totally lost.
I still didn't get the No smoking..can you please explain me??
Anurag Kashyap is a genius filmmaker. A brilliant writer and director with vision of pure indian cinema.
16 years! wow! and now anurag is changing Bollywood big time. film industry needs him.

Even the movie "Shahid "
satya was made by RGV . AK was writer. Satya gave life to Anurag, saurabh Shukla, Manoj bajpai, and many other actors.
no doubt AK is a genius.
Black Friday is best bollywood movie ever

Harwinder Singh RupaL Agreed 100%.

Best part was '' so much hapnd in the last 3 years that it looks like the last 16 years didn't exist. Nice!!
THE MOST INFLUENTIAL INDIAN FILMMAKER...!!
in the coming years we'll see him represent India..someday...!!
Suddenly the Golden Age doesn't exist?
Anurag Kashyap actually makes the movies which can appeal audience round the globe, every movie is a Masterpiece.
I eagerly wait for his movie every year.
If i was a Multi Millionaire, I would have contributed a whole lot to his production.
When I saw Gangs of Wasseypur i liked it, when I saw Black Friday i liked the the Director for making such kind of movie, But when i saw Paanch my respect towards this man came in to picture for making movies which can be compared with hollywood and unnoticed...\\m//...
I hope Directors inspired by Kashyap will make atleast a cinema... And not just movie with a bunch of jokers which is happening in commercial cinema.
He definitely is the most under rated film maker in a land where we worship actors, plagiarize western themes and are down right unoriginal, he stands out for being a master story teller, and has to be given credit for being original.
PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE ABILITY TO MAKE GOOD FILMS WERE NOT ALLOWED TO DO SO. THIS IS INDIA. NO RESPECT FOR TALENTS. ONLY RESPECT FOR CHUTIYAPAN. ANURAG KASHYAP HAS CHANGED THE BOLLYWOOD CINEMA BUT I BELIEVE IF HE WASN'T REPRESSED HE COULD HAVE DONE A WHOLE ANOTHER LEVEL BCOZ THAT 7 YEARS TIME WAS HIS PRIME.
Robert Cornell True...but i think the going got tough and the tough made him do stuff with so much passion...And people like him have given a platform to such thinkers, which was very necessary...but you are true!
oh man. .you talk about black friday ..what an intense real movie ..the cast, the story, the direction just mind blowing 😃😃
Goddamn! He was 26 when he wrote Satya, I reckon.
22 I think.
Sanket Limkar Apurva Asrani (Aligarh, writer) edited Satya when he was 18
That time he himself didn't knew he is going to be "the Anurag Kashyap"
This is inspiring! A must watch for every Indian filmmaker.
these guys have brought a lots of attention, awareness and money for this kind of cinema in India... those 70's parallel filmmakers were doing good but struggling for money, fame and recognition and most importantly in-spite of their effort they could not make people like that kind of cinema... its the biggest achievement of anurag and his kind of new filmmakers...
Anurag u are simply great... u have contributed to tranform the Indian Film industry... All our best wishes with you. KEEP MAKING such films.
He's a revolutionary director in Bollywood. Def one of the best.
Only anurag truly understands india and can capture it in his camera.
He is a true Legend...most influential filmmaker of our times

A true person who understands literature better than most of the Indian filmmakers who end up being the most popular ones.
For your honesty, Mr. Anurag! it feels always good to hear you...

You are my favourite film maker, an inspiration and I love your films..

Anurag, it takes a lot of guts to make a movie like Black Friday. Great Job done. You showed the truth & the film shared the voice of majority of the people. It brought about a sense of patriotism. Stick to the truth, please dont let success get to your head. Keep up the good work.

inspring to young youth (y).
Omg!!! It's breath taking. I am just blown away by the depth in which *Reema Kaagti and Zoya Akhtar* write their characters. Beautiful picturisation, beautiful costumes and everything seems as Taara had said 'much bigger and better and yeah much bitter too".

You are doing what is actually happened or happening in this era. .
Great Job sir. . .
Thanks for making movies which are changing trends in Bollywood.......
true. Bollywood has recycled their masala films for far too long. But I still feel Kashyap has a long way to go before he starts acting like King of Bollywood. His ideas are original, but are often under-baked if you will. In other words the work is doesn't feel very refined. Gulaal seemed like an intense political thriller when it started out, but fizzled out into some cheap love/drama/romance by the end. He seems to perpetuate the same themes of tragedy, loss, and sorrow and to some extent tries to mimic Hollywood. Furthermore I saw both films in GoW series, and I felt that a lot of the dialogue was contrived. He tried too hard to take a hindi movie and make it look like a Hollywood crime film, and it fell a little short. Nonetheless, I still feel that Kashyap has made some groundbreaking developments in Indian cinema and certainly should be honored for that.
Sadly though, I feel that this guy has his nose high in the air. He has an air of arrogance about him, and needs to settle down. Kashyap is good, but he isn't the best of the best.
I have never seen him this emotional ever before
Anurag Kashyap, mahesh bhatt, Vikramaditya Motiani and Sujoy Ghosh are my favourite directors
love you anurag, your work.people will remember you for changing the trend of indian cinema.......
seeing anurag kashyap nervous the first 2 minutes of the video surprises me
No words.... respect!
I feel very much for this guy. He changed the definition of film making in India and still he is struggling believe it or not
This man has the guts to change the whole Bollywood.

Most of these so called 'banned movies' are the best. And those are real films. Do we really need a institution to certify any film?
