Look how is struggling to recall his story. Because it just brings back all the pain that he had felt. I am sure every sensible and sensitive person would definitely cry to watch this video. Even this day, he is so humble. I salute you Ramesh Babu...
Wow that was so inspiring! 😊👍👌 For those who weren't happy with the presentation, please bear in mind that English is adapted language. Kannada is our native language (for those who are native to Karnataka) One should at least try appreciating his humble efforts than criticize him. Thanks TED for this motivational presentation!
Whatever be the expectation of these Viewers, for me he delivered what the viewers required, so there is no gap. Leave the people who thinks themselves as perfect and being useless to this World
this guy should be an inspiration to many people he took something that was worth nothing and made it worth what it is today so hats off to ramesh and other people like him
It is an inspiring and motivational story, I was so sad for losing his father in his early stage and also it is very hard to work and earn money without his father. Each word in the speech told by his heart and it is very inspired. -Work hard. -Take risks sometimes when you are doing work to get success. -Be humble to everyone.
I am very much impressed by Barber Resmesh Babu' story. I must appreciate his courageous decisions to take risk; most importlly luck favored him too. We can see in India lots of people taking risks, some succeed others fails. Dharan Abu Dhabi 10/08/15
Those who are criticising his English ..let me say something to you all.,he spoke pretty well ..his articulation was good and he was very clear.....I am sure each and every person out there must have understood each and every word he said
really eye opener Mr. Ramesh. He engulfed lot of pressure to overcome the situations, a big salute to this versatile person. I am really proud , I am Bangalorean, fan of Mr Ramesh, a substitute for hard work. I wish him the success. We should recommend these kind of stories in our books to get inspiration and model life. A great video I seen
Some people born for creating history...some people will get motivated by others and will achieve their goals. Very few people never do any thing their life, except criticizing others ...This third category people born for criticizing only. No point of discussing about this third category. .......Language is nothing but communication that's all......Your journey is excellent.... Hats of you Ramesh....
it should be made in kannada language. He will not only be able to convey in local language but also motivate people of karnataka too!! Dhanyavaadagalu!!
vipul and saj, This video post provides something beyond entertainment, that's why everyone is liking this. The essence of this is not going to change if it was rendered in any different language in my humble opinion. i guess anyone from Karnataka will understand what he is saying..just test & try this video with someone whom you think would find it difficult to understand..just try and see the result :) cheers
Very inspiring story. I was so sad for him losing his father at an early age and all the stuff that him and his sister went through :( In the end he succeeded; and God bless him
Very Intresting Video ( Wonder who are ) thoose 292 People who disliked this video can't achieve anything...Ramesh babu is an inspiration to many...he is living proof for the fact that any poor man can be rich ir-respective of his occupation....he might now be living a luxurious life after years of hardwork.... Please motivate the youths of INDIA as they are leaders of tommorow
Great and so humble personality.....heart touching story and he prove with his work nothing is impossible if u have dream ..... Where ever u keep it enlightenment that place Bcz no lamp has their destination.......
This was a wonderful video , sir Babu. You are great inspiration to me, and would like to thank you for presenting this video , even though it was very difficult to do so. You are true legend. well done sir once again.
Life is not easy but if you have to face your fight against your pain ........ You will achieve whatever you want .....push yourself to your comfort zone
I do admire Mr. Ramesh and they way he has built up RTT and Zoom car over the years to such a big enterprise serving almost the whole country. Although its good to hear it but my personal experience with using services from RTT was very unprofessional. Though they charged equivalent to MNCs like Orix, Hertz(sometimes goof ups in invoices) but the QOS was really a bitter piece. Once the driver kept me on road for an hour just waiting for a guy to deliver his duty slip. Don't want to put any obligation on anyone but that's my personal experience to share... Hope Mr. Ramesh would be working to take it to even higher standards.
In India, father is a person who works to earn money for his family. So without him, it is very difficult to service for his family. Also caste system in India makes very very difficult for them those who are considered as lower caste such as being born in barber family caste.
I DON'T THINK THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG IN SOMEONE CALLING YOU A BARBER WHEN YOU ARE A BARBER. ME BEING A BARBER MYSELF.AND I THINK WITH THAT BUSINESS ONLY YOU HAVE COME TO WHEREVER YOU ARE.
Nobody works harder than a farmer, a labouror or a rickshaw puller. All of them reemain poor all their life. With hard work you must be lucky also. Or hard work in a certain field may get you wealth. Had Ramesh Babu continued to work as barber, he would have been barber only. His fate changed when he diverted to taxi business.
Hard work definately matters alot but i guess luck matters d most... not every hardworking person achieves this much... its about d luck also, one who has that no one can stop that person from being a millionaire... there r many people who work for more than 15-16 hours a day but they still struggle to get 2 times of meal for themselves n their family... its all about destiny... thats wat i feel...
Look how is struggling to recall his story. Because it just brings back all the pain that he had felt. I am sure every sensible and sensitive person would definitely cry to watch this video. Even this day, he is so humble. I salute you Ramesh Babu...
Arvind Parihar Very true,,, very humble and that's what the last word he said at the end.
Real people inspiration

Whatever be the expectation of these Viewers, for me he delivered what the viewers required, so there is no gap.
Leave the people who thinks themselves as perfect and being useless to this World
The pain he is carrying in his words could inspire anyone to be daring and confident towards your life.
The video is all about how he thought in the difficult circumstances and took action & not about how he is speaking.Truly inspiring journey.
