Trained in medicine, he spent 15 years in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries including Apollo Health Street and Sanofi Aventis, before joining Ernst & Young as Business Advisor. His show Business Sutra with CNBC-18 and Shastrarth with CNBC-awaaz are popular with viewers for their innovative approach and simplicity. He has written over 25 books for everyone from adults to children,to business executives.
how much i listen to this gentlemen, I fall in love with his thought.... I usually watch him on epic tv
Krishna Rao how can you improve? Why? How? What? Where?
Syed Mohiuddin Shareef Yes and it's to be noted that all the sermons are not religious. All the examples are metaphors to explain the point. The plan of action is specified but the the desired Outcome is not guaranteed.
@Krishna Rao has a point, Devdutt has tarnished us a lot, but that moron cannot destroy Sanatana Dharma.
yes mee tooo he is amzing
Modern hinudtuva does not look at this.....
Yes, our Vedas lead there, pity Yoruba and Vedas are two different paths
The best ted talk I've felt is decoding Bhagavad Gita and the comments for that video are disabled so I'm spreading my opinion here💜
koi bhi English aur westerners ko itna knowledge nahi hai, jitne inko hai. I salute you sir. U have always made us proud around the world. I prefer you to be called celebrity rather than other so called celebrities.
great analogy..i think the hunger that one pursues to fulfill depends on what stage on entrepreunership one has evolved into...If u have just started your business, you are always in search of satisfying you own hunger and look forward to building the ivory tower or swarg for yourself and if others feel exploited in the way,,so be it!! Later on the realisation of insecurity appears once the ivory tower has been created and then the entrepreuner seeks to satisfy others hunger in a manner that reinforces his concept of swarg..so he seeks to create a society of like minded souls for himself and chooses whom to support and help out and whom to leave out..clearly knowing that the vaikuntam that he creates is only representative of his ultimate aim to reach out to everyone..obviously he cannot come down as an avatar to each and everyone and provide help..Then comes the third stage when he gets fed up of spoon feeding individuals perennially and then seeks to create a system that takes care of the social inequalities (that lead to exploitation in the first place) through philanthropy, aid, sponsorships, scholarships, donations so that the cow is not afraid of the tiger, the snake is not afraid of the peacock etc in the hope that eventually the hunger is overcome.. I think Bill Gates, Tatas, etc are an example of the third phase of pursuing kailasam, Narayana murthy is a wonderful example of the second phase of pursuing vaikuntam while all first generation entrepreuners are examples of the first phase of pursuing swarg....
great content and analogy. Your three stages as explained swarga , vaikuntha and kaisala is more resonating to me than Mr. Dev Dutt's chronological order. The same idea , if I may , can be explained by the representation of the three gunas. Tamas- the quality of satisfying one's own hunger and roughly to some extend in a self-centered way. Rajas is the guna of passion and creation. Sharing your part of food among the needy to find relevance in society. Rajas can be considered as the way of Vishnu.
Last, is Sattva, the way of shiva where every compromise has been made self-lessly in the service of others ,without the expectation of return. This is where the hunger is outgrown. The desires are burnt as person becomes self-sufficient and self-content.
Devdutt Pattanaik makes the most complex so simple and believable!
Snake charmers

You need to explore ..there are many others beside this one

2007...Ghatkopar, mumbai. I met a guy from EY who was a qualified doctor (mbbs) and we had a nice fire side chat on mythology. I had no idea that in years to come...I would read in papers and listen to his thoughts on Talk shows. Keep going...
Great. Are you still in touch ?
👁️👄👁️
This is magic of Hinduism, it doesn't say how , it says Why.
Snake charm loot and remit.
@@tenminutetokyo2643 Know the topic better and then talk don't blabber!
I like him, He is just allure you. you can't protect your egos from him.
this man is such a genius, too good talk sir, thank you!
Im surprised intellectual people like him still exist in India
+Ashuman Chauhan Me too. This video was just so beautiful!
+Ashuman Chauhan of course ashuman his approach is very different and unique but bawa where r u there are lot people in this land know the real "ithihas' which u cannot find in our text book or in google some r no more some r still struggling with this westrenize India to make this land "BHARAT".
Why? You were benchmarking the Indian Politicians as intellectual people? There are loads of intellectual people in India I think!
As long as we derive respect from English, language we feel that there are a few intellectuals in India than in English speaking countries like US. He speaks about very basic principle in Indian ideology. I don't see a great thought process by any standard in this talk. It is about communicating existing thoughts in a way that alienated generations (from their ancestors) will feel great. There are many Intellectuals who speak local/native language in very simple terms but with abundance of knowledge. We deny them in the name of modernization. It is derogatory to make such comments on India and Indians. On a positive note, what he talks about is significant and adds to our pride. But No one is above Nation and its pride.
Maybe you are not focused on your surroundings. Sadguru is yet one of intellectual from so many
so much to learn form you sir !!!
standing ovation.......for Devdutt Pattanaik
he is very good
he actually solves the thinking process wth the truth ,which has been not brought in front of us by our elders.
this is the real way which is needed to learn about our religion
thank u pattnaik sir
keep solving the things, matter n lighten the real knowlege of our indian religions
Harlin Pandya g
He has been debunked as a fraud
one should wish to be born with such voice such talking & community skills. he is so compassionate. no gathered no negativity.
This is epic... Wow..
The growing trend of non-profits impacting the world supports his idea of "Feeding other people before you". The big organisations like Wikipedia, UNICEF, RedCross, Wikileaks slowly but steadily showing that impact can be made without thinking too much about profit. I am sure in future we are going to see great surge of Non-profits and many more people will be willing to work in them.
But all these "non profits" depend on someone who is making profit. Why are we burryin our heads in the sand in the face of reality. If the non profits surge, who will finance their activities?
he is just amazing....
Amazing !!
This is just stunning ..............
Great talk sir!
Hari Har Mahadeva!

What a great Thought!
Love it so much.
With a better PowerPoint he could’ve taken this to a whole new level. He’s great anyhow
a must watch for everyone.
He is one of the great speech in India....
So nice - what an ideal explanation for an elusive secret about public centric business. After how many years, the West has finally instituted an appropriate legal framework for such a thing ("public benefit corporation"), venture has joined in recognizing it and naming its features ("patient capital,") - and it is superior in many ways to typical "charity" and "build-to-sell" old capitalism. A kingdom of genuine caring and a playground of peace is now possible.
Amazing comparison models!
I took the risk dealing with Austin on UA-cam and finally end up with perfect testimony.

From Google to youtube to facebook to wikipedia, everyone following this model directly or indirectly, partially or fully! We end users don't care about how they earn and what they earn but yes, they do provide thousands of features at your fingertips without taking a single penny!
