Is green mung bean sprouts keto friendly? An avid keto follower has told me that 100gm sprouted mung beans have 6 gms carbs only. I checked the nutritional info online and it says the same. If it’s true then I am blown away. Boiled mung dal is high in carbs so this info is only valid for sprouted mung. Please confirm? Thank you.
You are right! Only sprouted mung is keto friendly. The dal is absolutely not. Also, it is very important to wait until (or to buy) mung beans that are fully sprouted so the carb levels are low for sure.
