It is expensive, no doubt. But what you get is amazing. Once you've played an amp like this, you will look back on your 'cheaper' amps as 'not good enough'. My advice over the years has become: don't buy lots of cheaper gear, go for what you really want. If I knew this before I started playing guitar, I wouldn't have 'wasted' so much money on gear that was ok, to sell it again and then 'upgrade' to something better.
@@colaboytje100 percent accurate advice. Even buying the cheaper then later upgrading parts etc or buying clones. If you would’ve just bought the product you really wanted it would you money and time. Buy it once and call it a day. Plus it will hold more value than the other stuff.
I tempted to grab one of these. I need something that’s got the sustain and bloom of my bigger amps at a lower volume and nobody does that better then TR
Nice review👌👌👌May I ask how is it a low volume / bedroom use? I am just a random guitar player just playing at home. Is it worth invest in a sp35 for only home use? Thx in advance. Keep up the good work. Greetings from France
Great demo mate. How loud in the room were you smashing that out at? Could you talk to someone in the room? Is it a bit excessive for playing at home? I use a fender blues deluxe now but do attenuate a little. Thanks
Hey man, it took a while to get the money together (these are expensive!) but I’m now a proud owner of one of the pro “plus” head and cab models. The cleans are totally amazing and I’ve got a great sound from a mk1 Marshall bluesbreaker into a JAM Tubedreamer 88. The problem I’ve got is keeping the volume in check while the gain is around 2pm by trying to balance the master and send return. How’ve you set these on yours? Cheers
I own a Two-Rock studio pro 35 (head with Two-Rock cab), and while it's an amazing amp, it's not the best amp ever. I got a Two-Rock Traditional Clean last month, and it blows the Studio pro 35 away in every possible way. It's way more dynamic, open, better voiced, the EQ section is much better and easier to dial in, the reverb is way better, ... It also feels better to play. The studio pro 35 (which they don't make anymore), can feel stiff. The Traditional Clean feels fluid, easier to play, responds better. I heard the new Two-Rock studio signature is a big improvement on the Studio pro 35. But again, the Studio pro 35 is an amazing amp, no doubt about it.
You can't expect the studio series amps to sound like their flagship amps. The Studio signature is supposed to be like a baby traditional reverb, but there is no way you're going to get the same range and quality of the traditional reverb. It's twice the price of the studio signature.
James Bennett I own a 100W Traditional clean and it’s amazing, just bought a studio signature, yes it’s not as Massive sounding but man I’m impressed, it still sounds huge and build quality wise every bit as good
And that is just like ..., well, your opinion man .... .. I completely disagree with your assessment: I own a Two-Rock Studio Pro 35 and A/B with a Traditional Clean. I actually much prefer the Studio Pro, it's darker deeper and voiced exactly how I personally like. The Traditional Clean is voiced on the bright side of the spectrum (like all the new TR amps lineage), and I personally don't like that. So go figure. And that is just like ... well ... my opinion man.
Thanks for that. Easily the best review of that amp that I've watched.
Great review and playing. Thank you for doing it
Thanks! Glad u like it! Do subscribe. 👍
Happy to see a huge improvement in the sound of your video. Your voice is now very clear and understandable. Really nice amp but way to expensive.
Thanks to ur feedback which made my audio sound better. Yea it's an expensive amp. Maybe u can get it second hand at a better price. Cheers

Generally tube amps sound better at higher volume. I recorded this at pretty loud volume haha!

Loud enough to get a good tone :P Its excessive only for the short recording period. Else I would play it softer.
Thanks man! It’s definitely my top wish list amp now

very good review ! thx
Thanks!
What model Strat is that? I like it.
It's the John Mayer Strat model from Fender. No longer in production.
I knew there was a reason I liked it. John Mayer is my favorite guitar player of this era. Got tickets to see him in August.
@@I_Just_Cant_3127 gonna be a great concert.
Hey! Awesome review. What pedals are you using for that overdrive tone in the intro?
It should be the timmy with 808 from the Helix.
Guitar Emerge thank you!!! Do you remember if you have the vol all the way up and drive (almost) all the way down on the 808?
@@kobaee Generally i keep my drives lower as I stack drives.
Hey bro, where to buy that twin rock combo in singapore?
Sorry we do not know of any dealer in Singapore. This amp was loan to us by a friend. :)

Nice, hopefully one day I can get to try the traditional clean. Two rock don't come by Singapore often :) thanks for sharing
