I have always connected with Tobias, I was treated like shit In catholic school ,I got rid of organized religion and just went with my faith in God, I always believed religion was a construct of man to twist and turn people's faith in something, It's definitely made me more open minded, two of my best friends are atheists, another cool thing about GHOST is the band always reinvents itself in some way and it works every time. Tobias is very intelligent as a musician. RATS is a great song it reminds me of Gene Kelly in SINGING IN THE RAIN.

He's answered that question more than once and there are still fans who swear up and down that it is Tobias himself dancing in that video, though. I've concluded that lots of people are just ignorant about ballet.

Tobias doesn't see rock star when he looks in mirror, when I see him, I just see sexy! Tobias is the best thing that ever happened to music!💞
Yessssss
Keep in mind Tobias is doing this interview in his second language.
"Are we living in a Times of termoil rn?" "Im sorry that was my line!" Lol
Great Interview. Great questions and incredible answers. Very smart guy, Mr. Forge.
Is that you ballet dancing in the rats video?
Tobias: NO.
So disappointed:
Highest respect to Brother T. F. Thought provoking interview.
As someone who has experience performing in a mask, you probably need to do it yourself to really understand how creatively liberating it is. I could VERY easily do things in character and under hood that wouldnt fly at all. Ask Andrew Dice Clay about that. He spent so much time as this lewd goon that he got hooked on it and sort of became that guy full time. Point is- its a license to kill in some ways
"there are so many things happening at the same time." He said, on the cusp of 2020.
-starts talking about religion at 6:20
-6:25 why catholicism
-8:07 how his rituals are like church
-8:57 what satan means to him
-9:30 idea of the devil
-10:25 biblical devil vs pop culture devil
-11:15 who’s really evil
-12:20 his view of christianity
Is that a Nosferatu pin? That's pretty awesome, I want one lol! I always enjoy listening to Tobias in interview, great composure.
Plot twist, the interviewer is also Tobias Forge
Who knew the lead singer of Simple Plan was so well educated and articulate?
Omg haha
I have always connected with Tobias, I was treated like shit In catholic school ,I got rid of organized religion and just went with my faith in God, I always believed religion was a construct of man to twist and turn people's faith in something, It's definitely made me more open minded, two of my best friends are atheists, another cool thing about GHOST is the band always reinvents itself in some way and it works every time. Tobias is very intelligent as a musician. RATS is a great song it reminds me of Gene Kelly in SINGING IN THE RAIN.
0:10 give it a few more months.
Tobias handled this imbecile so well.
ya , i said the same thing, the guy dosen't understand english well enough to really catch tobias' jokes, or he just really dosen't get the whole "ghost" thing
Your profile pic is pretty spooky... I think it's awesome.
This man is genius. Great guy!
I would love to have a conversation with Tobias about his experiences with the lyrics and visuals of Ghost ❤ there’s so much to be said there
The embroidery on his horror movie jacket is? I can not remember
But see, I don't take Ghost as something that is truly satanic. The whole concert appears to be one huge play.
I love this band!
Tobias looks like he'd rather be anywhere else than in that interview. It seems he's trying so hard to be polite when all he really wants to do tell the interviewer his questions are shite.
11:45 - 11:53
An example was the crusades... churches promised if they joined in with this crusade all their sins would be forgiven and got a promised space in heaven.
When the interviewer asks about the dancer in the Rats video I feel like Tobias is thinking "wow they really think I am also a ballet dancer? ummmmm" sometimes the interviewers ask very silly questions
He's answered that question more than once and there are still fans who swear up and down that it is Tobias himself dancing in that video, though. I've concluded that lots of people are just ignorant about ballet.
I am not a big fan of Ghost. I do think they have some good shit and the riff in Square Hammer is a seriously amazing riff and Ritual is an incredible song as well among others, but I'd love to sit down and have a drink with this dude and just chat.
Social Media has made a huge impact of real time World events.
3:55 that’s the entire point buddy 🤦🏼♀️
Yes... Ghosts merch will be next ”misfits”
Low Bow I think that’s pretty rad, essentially it’s a similar thing you discover when you’re young, it’s oddly a Conduent between strangers who have those small things in common
The ghost face shirt everyone has thats never even heard 1 danzig song
god he was being so funny and the interviewer was just not picking up on it HAHAHAH
i love this man soooo much lol. this interview is so bad but nothing he cant handle XD
Well, I will say I enjoyed hearing his reasons for the Catholic imagery and the reason why he uses Satan as a symbol. Pretty interesting to learn. Especially as a fan that follows this band, it's nice to know more about the man behind it all and his values.
Well those questions were... Weird.
Ballet dancing? Really?!
Leena Husa he has been asked this before on a podcast on UA-cam and he made the same joke- about them hiring someone else to do the standing/still shots.
but this time I think due to language barrier -they didn’t understand the sarcasm- he look so disappointed 🤦♀️😂
Lol. Tobias is like “FML” with the humorless interviewer
My guess is the Cardinal was a necessity until the legal case was resolved.
Nergal and Tobias for world leaders!
I think they gave 5 bucks to some random stranger on the street to hold this interview, otherwise what's the interviewer's excuse?
Right 😂😂
He's to adorable 😍
Cardinal Copia is quite funny with the tricycle
Tobias Forge should be the new bass player for Megadeth. May 31, 2021.
Every time I hear someone say “religion is all about control”, I can’t help but think they have a very basic understanding of religion
What is it about then?
Are there any hospitals, humanitarian charities, universities in the name of Satan?!
His band is a joke ! He is a joke but a very good musician !
@@mozarellaist Bringing people together for the sake of finding answers to life's questions. You can't hold the religions responsible for the things that people do in their names. If I shot someone, would you blame me or the gun? Evil wears many suits, including but not limited to religious people, atheist people, black people, white people, Australians, Brazilians, Americans, etc. It is man that creates strife.
@@m00t53 How is "This book is gospel, and if you don't live by it/believe in it you will burn in hell for all eternity :)" finding answers to lifes questions? You literally get told how to think by religion. If that isn't about control, I don't know what is.
@@mozarellaist Who are you quoting? Because you're not quoting an actual scripture. The fixation on eternal damnation comes from man, not the scripture. You don't know anything about this and it shows a lot.
He is correct he is talking about things on a higher level of consciousness that I don't think this interviewer is understanding and what Tobias is saying is true sometimes you have to step outside of the box to actually in it to understand what's going on outside of it
1:45 woah, never thought I would hear Tobias talk about my country's history
I wish my no-Swedish was as good as his command of English
Thank you!
What movie is that patch on his left arm from?
Exorcist
I have felt great after Ghost shows, so thank you Tobias/Ghost for that. Better than at church. Nature is my church, not organized church. Blessings and Love!💚💜🥰✌
I mean ... just looking for a brief moment into this man's eyes we can see a glimpse of his soul. And he has a fucking shining soul. He has the eyes of a wise child. A centennial child (I don't know if this makes sense😂). No man is perfect, but I so damn like what I see inside him...his philosopy, his ideals, what he's doing with his music for everyone not just for himself... he is clearly an empathic, creative person with his own ideas and a strong sense of justice. And to think that he has been accused of being greedy ... bitch, were? I don't believe it at all 😂😂 sure, people like Tobias can be dangerous if they follow the wrong ideals, but he seems to be on the right path. Without a doubt, He is an example for me to follow
Incredibly seductive... dig deeper my dear
he’s so handsome 🥴
He speaks well
Very polite!!
Interviewer : "So what means Satan to you ?" Tobias : " Well i think he is my best Friend and understands me the best X-). I sold my Soul to him many Years ago already to make the Music i do. He gifted me with his musical Inspiration. It´s an ongoing Relationship." X-)
