- We had the luck and the privilege to share the first single "Never Had To Go" from our 2015 release With A Lampshade On with the man himself, Dick Van Dyke and his lovely wife Arlene. They said come over and let's do a video. So we did. What a dreamy guy. At 89, he really can still dance like he's in Mary Poppins!

I have been in love with Dick van Dyke forever! It kills me that his lovely wife is younger than I. The whole family has talent galore, and if I ever get to CA again I'm going to make sure I have enough money to go to the markets to buy a print or painting by young Wes (Barry's son).

But it's also great to see and hear Dustbowl Revival (for the first time, for me). What a great group! Great music and fun lyrics, with a great attitude showing from each of them. They definitely love what they're doing, and love sharing it with others. And I have to say, Liz Beebe has a smile that could light up a football stadium!

I had seen this video before, without knowing this band very well, and thought it was cute then. Now, I'm becoming a full blown Dustbowl Revival fan on one hand, and my husband started watching the Dick van Dyke show on Netflix. Seeing this again now, in the middle of all of this, is surreal and serendipitous! Really, a perfect pairing, between the band and the star!

Growing up in a pre-cable world, the Dick Van Dyke show reruns were my favorite. He's like the uncle everyone wants in their family, and it makes me happy to see how much life he still has in him....
Also, the singer looks like the lovechild of Lindsey Stirling and Taylor Swift....
I had a great uncle who looked like him, but short. My great uncle died when I was 16 years old. I used to think that the cute tall older dude in this video and my great uncle were cousins since they looked so much alike.

I think I have watched this a dozen times or more since it came out - just brightens my day. There is so much awesomeness wrapped up in this video. Arlene is a very lucky lady to have such a playful and happy husband. And Dick is equally lucky to have found such a terrific friend and lover. I guess I am a huge fan of this couple.

I started getting all happy and excited when I heard this song and my teacher was all like, "Hannah, you really love this song, do you?" And I was all like, "yes. This is a good song, but the music video is so much better."

I always loved Dick Van Dyke. For some reason, I always had a thing for older men. My Dad's age. First Elvis, then Clint Eastwood, Dick Van Dyke, Marlon Brando, the list goes on and on. Loved them all.

This is the guy from Irma La Duece, with Shirley Mc Laine & he's still bouncing around. My bones are a cracken just watching him. That said the band is tight, but that girl puts them over the top. Blue Grass, New Orleans line music and big band jazz all top notch with spirit & pizzazz. I'm a Rock, R&B, Funk, Country. Blue Grass, Reggae guy and they just expended my tastes yet again.
He's really blessed to be so healthy and active at that age. Having a young wife like that sure doesn't seem to hurt any, either.

I've watched this video about a dozen times in the last 4 days, and I smile just as big as I did when I first watched it. who knows how many more times I'll watch it; probably more when I'm feeling a bit low. Dick Van Dyke's smile and ebullient personality just permeates my soul, and from all appearances he does that to this fine young music group, too. What's more, his wife, Arlene, appears to be just as bubbly. They just have this joie de vivre.
