Real good stuff. Light's struggling to escape from the gravity well of this one, it's so heavy.
I don't know if you do requests, but if I could request anything, or at least put something in your mind going forward, I don't think I've ever heard a doom/stoner metal band take on nü metal or post-grunge (or vice versa), and it's always tickled my inner try-hard-15-year-old self from 15 years ago to hear the two mashed up ever. Perhaps a "What if Saint Vitus wrote "Animal I Have Become" or "What if Kyuss wrote "Down with the Sickness" Heck, Pentagram's "Evil Seed" has the _exact_ same main riff as System of a Down's "Mr. Jack" It'd be neat to see those two mashed up (or hear Slipknot try their hand at Dopethrone)
(Actually, scratch the Down with the Sickness one; it'd be WAY funnier if you did "What if Poison or Mötley Crüe wrote Down with the Sickness")

Heavy metal balls so heavy they're throwing off sparks dragging on the ground.
This is exactly the type of heavy I love. Caveman main riffs, with clean vocals and a few surprises. (Screaming isn't necessary heavy.)
I really enjoyed the distorted vocals during the chorus. For who don't know, that's not a scream. That's achieved by tightening the diaphragm and throat muscles, so it goes from clean to nothing but noise. Chris Cornell did this exact technique, for example, at the end of the bridge of "Cochise".
Anyway, point is, this was both heavier and more emotive than a lot of "heavy bands" today. It felt REAL, and I appreciate that.

Love the contrast between the heavy as balls chug riffs with the violin and soft yet chilling melodies, that part right before the end especially. As someone who is firmly cemented in 90's music, I never thought I'd hear myself say "I have a NEW favorite." All of the best parts of all of my favorite bands are rolled up into this one, perfect masterpiece.
