The house that shocked me the most was Tom ford. It provided uniqueness and was a notch above designer fragrances. Black orchid still blows my mind & gave me interest in trying a world of niche fragrances like creed's and pdm.

Was totally expecting Sauvage to be in this. I know "fragrance aficionados" can't stand the stuff, but there ain't no denying that came out and blew up. It was like the perfect storm. Perfect fragrance, and the perfect ad campaign. And I don't care how basic I sound, I still think it's great.

I was looking for a scent I can use during my upcoming fall wedding next week and that I could use as a husbandly signature scent going forward, boy did Moustache by Rochas hit the nail on the head with maximum force. Inviting, warm, sensual, perfect for a man in his 30s with confidence who isn't trying too hard but turns heads regardless.
CDNIM is a compliment magnet. Lemon furniture polish opening with that rich Aventus like dry down. I like it. They like it too.
La Gazelle Acoustic is way better. Have some kind of oud onder in base what make is from beginning to end smokey and long lasting. Hidden gem for 25euros really
should i get versace eros edt or edp as a teenager? i was gonna get edt but found out it got reformulated so idk now
I agree go for edt, i got a decant of edp and it’s not as great as edp.
By far the best fragrance reviewer on UA-cam. Versace Eros is still one of favorite fragrances and it’s easily my most complimented fragrance.

Hey Ashton can you do a review on Al Wassam hes a Middle Eastern clothing designer from Southwest Detroit Mi. hes a friend of my families known him for years he has two Fragrances out Oud Day , Oud night somthing like that I was just checking it out , But if you got the loot maybe you can peep it out for me.
Dunhill Icon too. MiP, Avant Garde, Nautica Voyage, Jaipur, CK One Shock, BR540 and when remember when Carven Homme was the sh**? Seems like everything was coming out of the blue back in the day. But no mention of Lui Rochas? 😲 Scandalous! 😄 I know, kind of overshadowed by Gucci Pour Homme, Rive Gauche and Habit Rouge edp that year. SOLID year for fragrances though.
I like ARMAFs fragrances but one consistent within that house is that the fist 15min of every one of their openings is that they are sharp/astringent - ARMAFs magic is their dry downs and performance
It’s because their citrus notes are garbage. Their clone of Bleu de Chanel smells like lemon bug spray
The cloud de nuit bottle looks slick and the cologne is off the hook
If it didn't have the crystals I'd like it more but yeah, it's a banger. I personally like the opening, I guess my nose is more conditioned to stand harsher scents.

I can remember...2019/2020...i could not find a Rochas Moustache edp bottle in a well known shop online in Germany,only on weird websites.
After the hype train,every shop had Moustache edp out of nowhere available

Finally was able to smell Aventus through scent split. To me it smells almost identical to Explorer. Did I get duped or is my nose broken?
Explorer is another version of aventus.
Aventus has “inspired” a bunch of companies to copy the DNA. This won’t be the last time you smell something that smells like Aventus

I have Moustache Original 1949 and it's utter garbage. Smells like lemon Pledge in the opening and smells exactly the same in dry down.

I got Moustache on Friday and instantly loved it. Now, on Wednesday, I can't stand it any longer.
it gets cloying easily in warm weather. Its an Autum and cool Spring day fragrance.
@@CH-yp5by you're certainly right, but we had around 12 degrees celsius in the last couple of weeks...I just feel like the vanilla is not as prominent any more and I only get the overly sweetish cedar
on me this one doesn't perform at all. so weak i can't notice it at all :(
@@alejandroserrano8217 that's weird since there shouldn't be any fakes of a cheapie like Moustache. Do you have very dry skin? Using an unscented lotion before applying frags works wonders for me...

Guy at work has tuxedo. I took moustache in and we sprayed them side by side. I can act say I prefer moustache and it lasts longer on my skin!! Fraction of the cost and better!!
Let’s be honest, we all either got roped into buying these hypes, or at the least getting samples of them 🤣 I love Aventus, but the rest were just “meh” for me 🤷♂️

One Million was interesting because it was an fragrance community hype beast when it was only available in Europe (aka exclusive) but then when it hit it big in the US (in part due to said internet hype), the community went full hipster "I knew the band before it was cool" mode and didn't like it as much.

L'Homme wasn't that much of a smash hit. YSL Y EDP is a smash hit though. Sauvage is a smash hit but it was not quite a surprise because it was a big release by a big house with a big advertising campaign (it is quite literally the only one of note I can recall over the past 10 years).
@@TheGreektrojan i know L'Homme wasnt a smash hit, but in my mind at least with the people that were aware of ysl in the late 2000s into the 2010s they were aware of it because of L'Homme and la nuit de lhomme and solely because of it. Which to me would semi qualify it and i know sauvage wasnt really a surprise BUT i guarantee that no one knew hpw big it would be/ if it would even warrant such a big ad campaign

Bought the new batch of eros edt... Drydow smells like colgate lol i like it more in the previois years where the vanilla hint is more prominent
I have a 2019 and it's super vanilla dominant. I don't wear it at all though my gf always reaches for it.

Eros, Invictus, and One million were the inevitable outcome of fragrances for men getting sweeter and less masculine. Still going on today. Most current Blues turn sweet and soapy after 30 minutes. So tired of it.
