Yes you do!! It’s so fun!!! Mocha wasn’t the best at it honestly. Haha! He understood it but he also just wanted the treats and he wasn’t self aware of his body. Lol. He would just plow right over things to get to the food. 😂 but he was also deaf so he couldn’t hear the clicker which may have been part of the issue. 😂
My baby bunny took to it right away! She's in love with the Timothy based pellets I have for her for some reason, so I didn't even have to worry about excess fruit intake. Maybe my bunny wanted more stimulation? Haha bunnies are so much smarter than people think they are.
I loved training my bunny to spin! Now we have a second bunny and he is so flexible 😂 he stretches his neck way back and twists his body instead of spinning 😂😂 He's also still a bit shy, and I will definitely try more training so he can bond with us too 😊
I loved this video!! Please do videos on more specific tricks like spin and come, and also maybe teaching your rabbit to learn his/her name!! I think you should also do that how to get your rabbit to not run away video because that can be helpful for some shy or skittish rabbits!!
I just love Bunnies. I have one, A New Zealand White. Beautiful and full of love. I play with her all the time, and sing my favourite ABBA song to her ( BUNNY BUNNY BUNNY ) I believe it was a big hit for them in the day!!!
Oh I wish I had known this many years ago! I've had many free-living house rabbits in the last 35 years and now have just one (having always kept in pairs). This will be great for Jessica as I spend as much time with her as I can since she lost her husbun. (Billy would have loved it as he was a very interactive Dutch). This is a great video, thank you so much. I am looking forward to getting the clicker fun time going... if she takes to it too which I think she will ;)
this is so cutee. i tried training my bunnies to jump on my lap while i'm sitting on the floor but I think i'll have to train my bunnies separately because one of them turn crazy when treats are involved and constantly jump in the way of the other bunny and snatch treats from my hand when i'm trying to give the other bunny his treat. lol.
This is a great video!! I jst got my bunny for Valentine's day😍 Can't wait to start training when she is a little bit older, she's 4 weeks old right now.
when i had a bunny i didn't realy know how to take care of it and my family never took it to the vet so after we got her she only survived a little over 1 year. her name was nibbles
Thank you for posting this! I'm training my rabbits for therapy purposes and desperately needed some where to start! Can you make some more behavioral clicker videos please?
Never used a target stick I had the follow treat from day one my rabbit knows like a crap ton of trick and he even knows them by word without words and it only took a few days for each trick
My bunny is a Little over a year old. I've never feed him by hand, yikes. But I do feed him a well balanced diet. Just gotta get him used to hand feeding and get a clicker
I was thinking that following the target stick could also be a good for their safety too. if there was an emergency you could lead them into their carriers faster than picking them up.
Hi Hayley I really enjoy these videos I was watching threw them yesterday and today and I was wondering if you can make more and put a link in the description so I know what site/link I can get them at. -Thank you! :)
Sadly there isn't much with clicker training that can be done for destruction. Destruction is a form of play, or a form of frustration. Getting him neutered will help a ton with hormonal destruction. That would be the first step. Then making sure he has lots of toys to destroy like plain cardboard boxes, plain brown packaging paper, grass mats, willow toys, etc. He should also have play time every single day for several hours. And be sure his area where he lives is properly big enough. I would start at LEAST with a 4x4 pen, but if he is still showing signs of destruction (bar chewing, trying to escape, etc.) I would expand his pen even larger or potentially have him free roam in a room. Most of destructive behavior is caused from lack of stimulation, mentally, and physically, or too small of an enclosure. Clicker training may help him with extra mental stimulation!
Hey I know i am late replying but I would love to clicker train my rabbit, is there a best age to do this? and my bunny is very picky about eating treats and I am unsure how to train her if she doesn't accept treats I offer her

The names are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute.
Nice.
I love that you used a blue ping pong ball, i find that colours other than blue and green rabbits can't see as well.
This is much easier to understand unlike the other two. Your bunnies are so talented! I love them all!
My baby bunny took to it right away! She's in love with the Timothy based pellets I have for her for some reason, so I didn't even have to worry about excess fruit intake. Maybe my bunny wanted more stimulation? Haha bunnies are so much smarter than people think they are.
Yes please! More tricks video would be great. My new bunny can do spin around but can't quite get the jumps.
Yes more
I agree! Mine can do a spin but I really want to know how to teach him to give me his paw etc
I just gently place my hand under teeko's tummy and he jumps.
I loved training my bunny to spin! Now we have a second bunny and he is so flexible 😂 he stretches his neck way back and twists his body instead of spinning 😂😂
He's also still a bit shy, and I will definitely try more training so he can bond with us too 😊
Thank you for this haley because I want to do tricks but I didn't know how to start so this is very helpful xx
I wanna do this but I already taught my boy how to do circles and to go through the tunnel without a clicker 😂 they are so smart!
I loved this video!! Please do videos on more specific tricks like spin and come, and also maybe teaching your rabbit to learn his/her name!! I think you should also do that how to get your rabbit to not run away video because that can be helpful for some shy or skittish rabbits!!
You make it look so easy!!!😂😂
Haha well it isn’t very hard! But my bunnies have also done it before so they know the basics. :)
101Rabbits Okay😂😂😂 btw I love your Rabbits!
I just love Bunnies. I have one, A New Zealand White. Beautiful and full of love. I play with her all the time, and sing my favourite ABBA song to her ( BUNNY BUNNY BUNNY ) I believe it was a big hit for them in the day!!!

I taught my rabbits to persicope and lay they feet on my hand and eat from it, a big trust

Hi Hayley I really enjoy these videos I was watching threw them yesterday and today and I was wondering if you can make more and put a link in the description so I know what site/link I can get them at.
-Thank you! :)
Can I use a dog crate instead of a playpen?
or if you have it you can use baby food jar lids.
I know its a bit late but please show command and behavioural tricks!
More behavioral training! I just adopted a 6 months old rabbit and i’m not sure how to train himself to be less destructive. 😭

I should try this out with my rabbit called Luna
Aggg I want to do this but it's 2 am 🙁
Can you clicker training in different locations? Does it help to have a bonded pair be in the same room?
I love your channel ❤️
What breed is your blue rabbit
It’s looks like a blue silver fox
That's amazing, thank you! :D
I taught mine how to stand on their two feet! I made a video about it too :)

What treats do you use for the clicker training?
Freeze dried fruit and carrots freeze dried or fresh
Can you use the clicker whenever you want or are the rabbits used to it❤

Yay,yay,and yay

My rabbit Harry, was very negative about and very playful and would just won't to eat, Any tips?

Where do i buy the clicker and this big dowel
mine is a wooden back scratcher and a cut up cat toy, lol
Where do i get a rabbit safe dowel stick
Well there be iclickers that sounds too loud for rabbit. My bunny doesn't seems sensitive to the click.
First time I tried with Lux, she freaked out by the clicker noise, so I just give her food when she does the thing and point with my finger.
same!
Hey I know i am late replying but I would love to clicker train my rabbit, is there a best age to do this? and my bunny is very picky about eating treats and I am unsure how to train her if she doesn't accept treats I offer her
