Nettie, you are such a great teacher! So calm and easy to listen to and comprehend. The camera work is terrific. I have some orphan quilt blocks and cannot wait to start these - was intimidated by the snaps but now I understand!! Yayyyyyy and bless you and your girls always. You are my hero!❤
I have made a few of these. I use them for napkin holders (cute cocktail size napkins), and/ or bedside trays when traveling. Very handy and so easy to pack flat.
Thank you so much Nettie 🥰 you and your girls are so kind for sharing your talents with everyone. Love watching each week to see all the gorgeous things. What a beautiful family. Hugs
This is awesome!! Thank you Nettie!! I have always been intimidated with the snaps. I appreciate you and the daughter’s that you have raised!! Such a blessing that you all have so much in common. ❤
What a cute little thread basket and I love the idea of using it for your jewelry you take off in a hotel. I always set mine on the nightstand and fear of knocking it on the floor! Excellent tutorial Nettie. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much Nettie! I’m a beginner sewer and you made it look so easy…I think I can make one! I truly appreciate all that you and your talented daughters share each week💖✨
Nettie! Thank you so much for this tutorial! I sat down at my machine and made two of these while I watched the video. I’m going to two quilting retreats this summer, and I thought I would make one for each of my friends attending. I hope they love them as much as I do. Thanks again. You’re the BEST!!!❤
So cute and what a great gift for stitchy friends. Thank you, Nettie for this tutorial. You are such a good teacher with your attention to detail and calming voice. 🌷🌷
Yeah! Thank you for doing this. As I was watching I was thinking how these could be a nice little Shower Thank You to put on everyone’s plate with some candy in them and a cute little note listing a number of ways of using them.❤❤❤. I already have all the tools and lots of snaps, that’s 1 reason I was excited about making these, just wanted to double ck the construction of it. Thank You. 😊😊💗
Thanks Nettie that looks so straightforward. I’m even thinking I could make a bigger one and put a completed cross stitch in the bottom and have it as a display piece, even swap the cross stitch out for other completed pieces for seasonal etc.
Thank you Nettie!! I watched a different video yesterday and it wasn’t near as clear as yours!! Thanks so much for the great video! My tools and snaps get here today and I’m going to teach 5 friends how to do this at a quilt retreat in June!!! They are all so excited to learn! Love Primrose everything!!! 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

I’ve always used it with my dinner plates after heating my meal up in the microwave. It’s perfect for carrying the hot plate. No idea what the original intent was so it’s interesting to see this project!
Hey Nettie I noticed that you have the same sewing machine as I do! Do you know there is a knee control bar that comes with it and it is amazing ! It took me a day or two to get use to using it but now I'm hooked! It allows me not to have to keep lifting the presser foot !! You def have to give it a try! I ordered the snap set and plan on making my 10 grand girls a fabric tray for their jewelry! Thanks a bunch! !
I love the idea of a template to mark where to put the snaps. Thanks Nettie!!

Cutest thing ever. I’m glad it’s made without fleece or interfacing.
It is interfaced at the very start before sewing. But if you use canvas or firmer fabric, you wouldn't need to interface it👍
Thank you Nettie for your tutorial on how to make a snap basket! You are awesome! ❤

Nettie, I love this tutorial but I'm a new sewer. What brand/kind of interfacing do you use? Thank you.
Could you please tell us what weight of interfacing you are using?
Is there a trick to removing a snap when you mess up installing them?
