Even greater memories for me! That’s a younger, skinnier me on the bass! Those were the days. Glad you all liked the music. Stein Boddington

It's really great to see these vintage videos surfacing and posted here. Stevie Wright was as good as any rock star of that day, and better then today.

Yes stevie wright was a great performer and over looked as far as his talent.. he could have went on to be a great performer around the world if things had been different.if he could have kicked the drugs and alcohol problem that he had. To bad they did not help him at rehab center. I can only imagine how he felt going through what they put him through..by him self. Having to jump out the window to get away.how.scared he had to be.

There was only one outfit that was given to him that was worse. That was the orange one he had on and the boots and the hair cut. But he was able to pull that off to.
He Rocks all of his shows. No matter what he's wearing.

I love the song . But the clothes he was wearing and the shoes, not so much. He looked alot cuter with short hair and no beard and moustache. But he was a great performer. Rest In Peace Stevie. You Rocked the show.

He should never have been in the show Jesus Christ superstar ... He was to good at writing music. He should have just kept singing on stage with his band's.
That show was the reason for his drug addiction, and all of his other health problems. If he had stayed away from that musical he would not have have been in the Chelmsford private hospital where he went through the hell he did.
You don't fry someone's brain with electronic shock treatment's or give them more drugs to get hooked on.
That is why you go to rehab in the first place.
You take their drugs away . And talk to them about the reason for why think that they need it.
I know because my Sister was on drugs and alcohol so bad that she almost shot drain cleaner in to herself to get a high.
Can you imagine what would have happened.
Stevie needed help. But never got any. I can not listen to his songs knowing that. It makes me want to cry.

Couldn't agree more, they were massive back in the day, and now they aren't appreciated by society these days. This is as good as it gets live for any rock singer, to see Stevie and George here is a treasure.

I rate Stevie Wright as the best front man of any band! 9I'm talking about the Easybeats (best Aussie Band of all time?0 Followed closely by Steve Marriot of the small Faces; third place goes to yep, even though I'm a big Stones fan: Mick jagger.

I mean…they don’t know much of anything, music or otherwise.
Try finding someone who knows who Malcolm Douglas is.
Or what you’re referring to if you say “when Australia won the America’s Cup”.
Or who knows that Dick Smith was the first person to circumnavigate the globe solo, by helicopter. (Among many other world records.)
Or can walk around with awareness of the surroundings.
Or hold & use a knife & fork correctly.
