Ivan Romanovic - here is a present for you, my playlist called EASYBEATS - '60s Aussie Band :- ua-cam.com/play/PLo0tzmnlxcWk3aQ8DANXuLbKiE9xR89G6.html Mostly in crohnological order, but YT seem to have cut out the comments section now, sadly, as it is where l documented their history. Stevie was/is the very loved lead singer of the Easybeats - our very first rock band that wrote all their own gear. Tragically he suffered a severe drug addiction throughout his life. Totally heartbreaking, as he had an amazing spirit, that had him loved right till the end 2 yrs ago.
I can't believe the acrobatics i just saw by our Stevie. Slowed and zapped with heroin as well as years of giving it all and he pulled off something like that. An Icon.
So full of nervous energy when he was performing and he had so much charisma...rock on Steve, wherever you are now, and thanks for so many awesome memories xx
Sometimes people don't realise the talent bestowed upon them. Stevie is completely off his head in this performance but still gives it his all. And no offence to the back up singers but he makes them sound like amateurs. Mind you he would have done that to more reputable singers. To the person that commented he should have replaced Bon Scott in AC/DC i have always said that. Brian was really good. Bon and Stevie were great though. Oh well. Brian had the last laugh. RIP Bon and Stevie. And enjoy this performance. i saw the Easybeats in Sydney in the late 80's and Stevie was still good then even though he was off his head. What a wasted talent but boy, what a talent.

I'm glad because he had so little of it in his life😢😢😢. With his health problems and every thing else he had going on in his life.🎉🎉🎉 This is a great concert, I wish I could have been able to have been there. But I live in the USA and couldn't 😢😢😢😢 I would have liked to have met him. ❤❤🎉🎉🎉 He seemed to be a very nice man❤❤❤
Dennis James here..Lead guitar in that band. Stevie was a great and caring guy despite his personal stuff....
@@Swans500 I'm glad to hear that.
He seemed like it.
On the interviews I have seen he looks happy,
At least at peace with the way his life turned out.
I love to watch the concert at the Bridge way Hotel. But it also makes me feel sad 😢😢. When he sang the song's I've been loving you to long.
It was great 😃. He put in so much feeling into it.
Also the song called. You. Was great 👍. You guys did a great job with him..
I never got the opportunity to meet him in person. Or see him perform that makes me very sad

He’s singing mighty fine here. What a great voice.
Wow !! I always loved this talented total *Spunk* . 💋
This is a másterpiece!
This geezer had it all and could have been up there with the most famous singers of his generation, as it made most of them eat the dust....
Gold , pure gold xx
I remember being at the Bridgeway that night , amazing !! Stevie was pretty ragged by the end though
Woulda been a great show bruh, ''ragged by the end'' i can see how that would be.....

Thank you so much for this upload of the great Stevie Wright & his wonderful band! I wish there were other videos of whole concerts by him. Like many other people I have loved Stevie since the very beginning of the Easybeats, a fantastic singer and performer, one of the best in the world! Rest in paradise ♡
This performance is on DVD
@@ariesred777 Thanks for letting me know
great
Absolute Superstar!
When on stage is where you make a difference and music is your saving grace & saviour...
Somebody make a playlist with time.. please :(
He was so good ..
You have just nominated yourself for the job!
An Icon.
Beautiful human being Stevie at peace now.
always seemed to love to perform seen him around mid 80s and he was done wish him peace and nothing but respect
Aussie Legend
This is EPIC! STEVIE THANK U SO MUCH 🙏
Long Live Aussie Rock!

Ki tud a fiárol!?...🤔Szomorú volt miatta is!😪 Gondolom, hiányzott Neki!🤗Ahogy a szeretet is!🙏😇❤
GOLD. Legend. Thank you for posting!!
Id never noticed how similar Stevie and Bon Scott were as frontmen.
he was killer no one can replace him. he invented the true front man.
Damned straight! Bon Scott and Brian Johnson NEVER had a fukin' think on Little Stevie. They will never be anything but cheap imitations.
Steve, jpy, Bon, andy gibb...if you look close they start to look alike.
So who was Elvis then?
IMITATIONS OF WHAT!!!!!! CHEAP WHAT!!!!!!
Best concert on UA-cam. Of All Times.
Wow I was a bit too young to get in but wish I was there. What a great talent Stevie was
I love his cartwheel during SORRY! Another at the start of BROTHERS. And he's 39 or 40 here.
You got no idea what you talked about, can you do the back up singing 😂 you are have no idea what music is about people like you should be Silence
