- Hello all, what a comparison it was between the two cars, quite a power difference, and with the straight six sounding very aggressive over the JCW it still would give the M135i a very good race.
So what did you think was best after watching let us know below??

Went from m135i to JCW, bmw is good don’t get me wrong but only fun in straight lines. The mini is much more useable fun 🤩 love both great engineering

As much as I love my JCW, I really miss my M235i. For me it was the perfect car.
I do love the shape of the M235i! With this engine they sound and look the bits!
In terms of comfort, I've heard the JCW are very harsh. Is this true?

I’m thinking of selling my auto awd M235I buying my brothers manual 2019 jcw. I would then stage 2 tune the jcw. Will I regret it? Or should I switch to a different car.
@@JackGE JCW are extremly confo but they are SPORT cars so it is a sport seat (little bit firm) while bmw are more of a cruiser car with normal confy seats.
Simply put if you want a toy get a Mini, its fun as heck. if you like speed and dont want "alway fun" car get the BMW or a tesla. To me a real fun car is about feel and not speed, ive had muscle cars they are bricks but real fun, same for mx5, mini, not fast but obviously the most fun cars you can get for the buck

I like it, but I prefer the stock exhaust pre-2019. Just enough pops without sounding like a loud fartcan.

I thought sport + bumped up the traction not turned it off. To turn it off you need to hold the dct button down for 10 seconds

I've just bought one, they are outstanding. Reccomend a Clubman. I've ha f56 r56 and r53 previously
The 135i is a much better car, but you can't take the fun factor away from owning a mini. That's coming from someone who's had 4 minis and 2 M cars (3 & 4). One of the best mods for a JCW in my opinion is putting P4S tyres on them. If you did a stage 1 remap I would say you'd keep up on a B road. Enjoy!
Yeah I agree. What was the Other BMW’s like in comparison to the m135i?
@@tourquecars a m135i is fast but by no means as competent as an M4/3. One of favourite cars was an M4 CS. A future Classic. One downside is they came with cup 2s. Which makes it more of a summer car. Fast not hatch’s are really fun, and a mini isn’t overly serious either which is a win win in my book.
In what world is that 135i better? straight line performance i 100% agree it's an animal but on the twisty b roads it will not keep up with the mini

Are the boost gauges in the jcw a factory option? I’m from the USA and I saw a car for sale online with the same ones but it’s the only car I’ve ever seen with them and can’t find anything on the forums.
Yes bud they come standard it’s part of a pack when specced called a Chromo pack😎

I done the same, test drove m135i, golf GTI, i30N, i20N, Polo Gti, and I went for a JCW
This is an interesting chat gents. If i could answer your question Ashley I would of wanted to try out an ST then go to a Polo GTI then the JCW. Simply because they are all different in there own ways and the GTI’s seem like a great car to try before the JCW due to lesser power however they’re DSG gearbox really Interested me alongside the nice noise of the exhaust note.
